Our 6 y/o male Yorkie had some concerning skin bumps so took him to see Dr. Marnee Jepsen, DVM and her staff. The entire staff are clearly animal lovers and made our normally nervous Yorkie feel safe during the exam. Dr. Jepsen took the extra time to explain what the lumps were to put our minds at ease immediately. Since one bump was quite large, we opted for an out-patient surgery which we scheduled the following week. We also asked them to clean his teeth while under, w...hich was long overdue. Dr. Jepsen called immediately following surgery to let us know Toby was in recovery and that he was doing fine. He came out great and several of the communicated possible additional things ie. lab evaluations etc.. shared on the estimate were not even needed. This was a nice surprise when we typically see the high end of these estimates. Not that cost is an issue with our beloved fur babies but coming in under estimate causes us to trust All About Pets even more. This is the best place to take your pet, hands down!!  Dr. Jepsen is so gentle and caring.  We took our kitten here when she was sick and the doctor was able to figure it out very quickly.  They gave us medicine for our kitten and she was better within 4-6 days.  Dr. Jepsen and her staff are absolutely amazing!!! Dr. Marnee Jepsen, the owner and Veterinarian at All About Pets, has to be the most compassionate, ethical and competent veterinarian in all of Omaha. I don't say this lightly either - we have very high standards when it comes to care for our pets. They are definitely family in our house.We have been to several other vet centers in Omaha and have moved on due to either absurd costs, uncaring vets, unethical practices (telling us we needed to continue to do an ongoing expensive monthly procedure, but was later explained to us why we didn't need to by Dr. Jepsen), incompetence (one vet ignored me for more than 6 months when I mentioned one of our pets might have cancer - he brushed it off as a "scratch" - low and behold he did have cancer, needed surgery and was much better afterwards), or having to see different vets every time we made an appointment- thus having to tell background on our pets every single time. Dr. Jepsen is definitely in the field because she loves animals, but what also stands out is that she knows how to run a business. These traits do not go hand in hand as it takes a special kind of individual to navigate the waters of a small business. More recently we had to make a very difficult decision regarding one of our pets, and Dr. Jepsen was not only caring, but factual in helping us make the best decision for everyone. I cannot thank her enough for helping us through this. If you are in need of a vet in Omaha or just have a feeling that you're not getting the best service at other veterinarian offices, give Dr. Jepsen a try.**As an aside, if your animals were a patient at All About Pets a few years back, it was run by a different veterinarian. She was okay, but the office manager did not possess the customer service skills to help run an office, so please be aware that Dr. Jepsen is running a solid business and I couldn't be more pleased she took over. Dr. Jepsen and the entire staff are wonderful.  They truly make me feel like a valued friend more than just a client.  We initially were referred to the office by a friend who swore by her cat-loving vet.  That was when Dr. Hawley was there.   Our experience with her was excellent so I was a bit nervous when Dr. Jepsen took over the practice after  Dr. Hawley relocated to a warmer climate.  No need to worry.Dr. Jepsen is thorough, friendly and compassionate.  She does not mandate expensive tests, labs or procedures.  I always feel like I've been educated on all the options and then allowed to choose.  We have a Great Dane as well as cats and I've never sensed she prefers one over the other (even though the Dane seems to be a staff favorite).  Dr. Jepsen endeared herself to me forever the day she sat with me on the floor of the exam room as I wept over the passing of my beloved Allie  cat.  She was exceedingly compassionate and kind through an excruciatingly hard moment.The staff members are capable and kind.  Special recognition to Leanne and Becky for giving Maeby the Great Dane all the love. This is the best vet and the entire staff is awesome.    Our dog was injured earlier this week.   We took her to our regular vet and went home without anything more than ibuprofin for dogs.  When i called All About Pets this morning, even though they weren't our regular vet, they got us in within the hour.  Our dog has a fractured pelvis and her tail is broken and requires amputation.  The vet was very thorough and caring and took the time needed to explain the medical diagnosis to our family. Dr. Hawley and her staff are all very patient and kind. Our dog ended up being diagnosed with Pancreatic Insufficiency by Dr. Hawley. She was very thorough and systematic through the process of diagnosing him and she hit the nail on the head. Since being treated with PancreVed as prescribed by Dr. Hawley he has completely recovered and though it is a chronic illness and he will be on the medication the rest of his life - I know he is in good hands with Dr. Hawley. They are also competitive on most medications - though some they do have a hard time competing against the online shops - I would always get a price first as they have surprised me by beating the online prices I could find. My friends and neighbors are who recommended All About Pets to us and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great vet for their pet. Read Less
