Dr. B, his partners, and his fantastic staff have once again gone above and beyond their call of duty. We've entrusted the health and veterinary care of our furry family to Dr. B for nearly two decades now and in the past three weeks, 2 year old Symon was loved and cared for by the very best. Though our hearts are broken as Symon was ready to go over the rainbow bridge, there is no doubt that his final weeks on earth were in the Best Care possible. We never could have gotten through this tragic time without Dr. B and everyone at both the L and Fort Street hospitals! Thank you! Read Less

Do you have rats as companion animals? If not, you should, and I can tell you where to find some amazing ones! That said, once you have procured yourself at least two ratties, set up an initial appointment for them with Dr. Bosilevac (Dr. B.) at Best Care for a once over. A good rat vet is difficult to find, and Dr. B. is an excellent one. He'd be my go to if I had any other non-cat-or-dog companions. This is not to say that he isn't a wonderful vet for cats and dogs. I have limited experience with other veterinarians here, but from what I've seen they're competent and compassionate. Keep it up, rock stars! Read Less

Don't use this vet if you are going to be in the Omaha area temporarily, then again not at all for if you try to have records transferred to another vet THEY  WILL CHARGE YOU!!  This place and the 30th and L location treated my animals very well.  The one thing that I didn't understand is that they advertise they have 2 locations that you can go to BUT their records are not shared between the 2 locations making it hard to use one or the other location if one location doesn't have available appointments.  Anytime I have scheduled an appointment the receptionist has been anything but pleasant.  Since I moved I needed to find a vet that was more convenient for me.  I called my location that I normally went to (30th and L) and had them fax the records to the 120th St location.  Nothing was told to me that there would be a $20 dollar charge.  I went to the 120th location to pick up my records and was greeted by a lady at the front desk.  I told her that I needed to pick up records for my dog and she gave me a release paper to get the records and said "That will be $20."  I told her that there was nothing communicated to me about the fee and looked at the paper that I was signing and the sentence that said there was a $20 fee was crossed out.  I let the lady know that someone else crossed it out and she said in a snarky voice "Well it used to be $50!  That is why it is crossed out!"  I told her again that the fee was outrageous and since it was crossed out I didn't have to pay it.  She picked up the phone and started to call the L Street location and then looked at me and said "Well, are you moving?"  I replied with a "Yes."  She asked "Far far away?"  I responded with a "Yes."  She then hung up the phone and said "We won't charge you then."  I have never heard of a company that charges to transfer medical records both human and animal.  I used to refer everyone that had animals to this business but will not anymore.
