My introduction to Millard Veterinarian Clinic was stressful. My cat had been throwing up all night and my regular vet couldn’t see him that day. I took him to the Millard clinic because it was the closest to my house. Turns out he had eaten a ton of string, hair ties, and other random objects and needed emergency surgery. Dr. Miranda and the staff at Millard Veterinary Clinic were outstanding. They got my cat in immediately, and were very patient as I called backed regularly in tears to ask about his condition. I have now gone to all three locations, and will continue to bring my pets here. I’m so thankful for the amazing care that saved my cat’s life.

I've been bringing my orange tabby here since I got him at a year and he's now 8. Every vet whose cares for Lenny has been friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They get along great with the animals and are also considerate about finances. Today Lenny needed his rabies booster. To save him the stress and me the time of a second visit coming soon for a different shot, they offered it today. They may not see you often but always feels like they know you and remember you and your furry family member.

We go to the millard west location most of the time but over 6 years because they share weekends with this clinic we have spent time there also. We love both clinics. Even though we don't go there often the staff knows us and our dogs without even looking at their charts. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they always are to our girls! You can really tell that they love what they do! Thank you all for being awesome at your jobs and truly caring!

Doctor Dave is the best vet I've ever experienced. He doesn't feed you a bunch of hooey just to get you to spend more money, he's honest with you, he's always willing to answer any questions you have, and - most importantly - he's really good with my fur babies. Even Bella, who usually hates the vet and gets very stressed, likes Doctor Dave.

I have four live puppies and a live mother today thanks to Dr. Wright (Dr. Matt). Our family Labrador was expecting, and we knew there were at least four puppies in her. 5 hours after the third was born, the fourth was nowhere to be seen and my girl had stopped contracting.
I called Dr. Matt - at 2 in the morning - and he spent the next several hours talking and texting with me for updates on her status. He eventually ended up having me meet him early at his office where he confirmed a live puppy was still in there. He was able to assist in delivering the puppy without a c-section. After delivery he sent me, momma dog, and the pups home without concern for the bill.
I brought the four thriving pups back three days later to have their dewclaws removed. My total bill for sitting up with me on the phone all night, emergency assisted delivery the following day, and having four pups dewclaws removed: $235. I was expecting 2-3 times that.
Dr. Matt is a good guy and genuinely cares about the animals he sees. I've never wondered if I was being given incorrect information or being taken advantage of. I have four live lab puppies today thanks in big part to Dr. Matt. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

My family has been taking our animals to this clinic for more than 20 years, even after we moved from five minutes away in Millard, to Springfield and then Plattsmouth.Though the assistants over the years have ranged from great to somewhat mediocre, the doctors have never been anything but friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Since I don't have any pets at the moment, my last visit was a few years ago when my parents had to put our (my!) elderly cat to sleep, and I have vivid memories of how gentle and peaceful his passing was. The doctor gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye after the (expected but still painful) verdict that euthanasia was the kindest option, and I was allowed to hold him as he died.We have visited mainly Dr. Dave, as Dr. Steve specialized in horses more and more as the years went on. (I was very sad recently to learn of his passing.) Recently, my mother has been taking her animals to see Steve's son Matthew at the Millard West Veterinary clinic and has also been very impressed with him.

My introduction to Millard Veterinarian Clinic was stressful. My cat had been throwing up all night and my regular vet couldn’t see him that day. We go to the millard west location most of the time but over 6 years because they share weekends with this clinic we have spent time there also. We love both clinics. Even though we don't go there often the staff knows us and our dogs without even looking at their charts. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they always are to our girls! Doctor Dave is the best vet I've ever experienced. He doesn't feed you a bunch of hooey just to get you to spend more money, he's honest with you, he's always willing to answer any questions you have, and - most importantly - he's really good with my fur babies. Even Bella, who usually hates the vet and gets very stressed, likes Doctor Dave.
