My young cat needed to be seen for a possible broken leg. I was told they couldn't see her even though their website said emergencies take first priority and would be seen immediately. The receptionist said they didn't have any more emergency openings before they closed in 2 hours. Guess they really don't care as much about an animal's well being as they state on their website. We love these doctors. They are kind and compassionate. I always feel like they listen to all of my concerns. Some vets make you feel guilty for not being able to afford or just not really agree with a treatment plan. Not these docs. They will work out a plan that fits you and your budget. Dr. Jensen was so kind and explained what was going on so wonderfully!!! I usually see Dr. Lakovic...she is on maternity leave....but I have not had a bad experience with ANY of the vets at Mobile!!! They are wonderful!!! The front desk staff are also wonderful...as are the techs...they truly love animals!!!! It is nice to have a place where you can see any vet and be comfortable!!! But Dr Jensen went above and beyond with my new...3rd dog..who has heart issues!!! Awesome place to take your animals for care!! Read Less

They have the best Doctors (Doctor Jensen one of the best) and a great staff that genuinely care's and is very helpful. Your pet will get the very best care here. I recently had to take my 2 yr old male beagle who was hit by a car and Dr. Jensen took such good care him and explained everything to me, that put me at ease. My baby is doing great. Dr D Myer is the best. My lil guy likes her. She "actually listens and addresses" your concerns. When she was out of town I had to see another Vet, since I had concerns over my Chihuahuas breath. The stand in, told me their opinion, and when I tried explaining why I didn't believe that was the reason, immediately I was shut down. Instead I was educated on how much education and how long they'd been a Vet. People you know your pet, listen to your instincts if you believe full heartedly that your right have someone else look. Turns out I was correct, not the over educated, been doing for a long time Vet; however, by going back again I was charged twice. If I would have spoken up, like I usually do, I would've avoided the second charge. Read Less

I’ve taken my dog to Mobile Animal Clinic for about 6 years now. The staff is all very friendly and accommodating. No matter what vet I get an appointment with, I feel extremely confident in them. I started with Dr. Jensen, and I know he’s extremely busy but it’s only because he’s amazing!! I’m now with Dr. Meyer who is just as knowledgeable in my opinion. My experience with each of the Dr’s have been amazing. However, I have to say in particular every one of my animals see Dr. Meyer. She is very thorough with my pets and saved my dog Harley when he ate objects he shouldn’t (he’s known as the underwear dog!) , to treating my cat who has severe allergies. She also healed my new Bassett hound who was sick with worms and kennel cough. She knows my animals so well that I entrust in her about everything and I appreciate all the staff so much for loving my fur babies! Read Less

I am shocked at some of these reviews. My dog came from the shelter. He had been treated for heart worm at the shelter. Dr Jensen and Dr. Meyer have taken care of Stu for the last 5 years. Each time Stu has needed help they thoughtfully diagnosed the problem while only doing what was necessary. They are empathetic when it hurts and honestly have been spot on with each diagnosis. They weigh tests and procedures compared to outcome and cost while never jeprodising my dogs health. These two professionals are on the top of Stu's gratitude list. Read Less

I want to thank all of the staff, especially Dr. Jensen, for the care of my lab, Scooby, after he had emergency surgery for a turned stomach. The surgery was successful, but the key to recovery was excellent care which they provided. They were very good about explaining all the necessary procedures and precautions that had to be taken to ensure a successful recovery. I was allowed to visit him whenever I needed to; everyone was very caring and welcoming. I would highly recommend taking your pet to Mobile Animal Clinic for preventative care as well as emergency situations. I have been taking my labs there for over 20 years. I cannot recommend Dr Jensen and his clinic enough. They saved my dogs life by performing an emergency surgery. Another clinic was going to cost me $10,000 and Dr. Jensen and his team didn't even charge me a third of that. We have come to Mobil Animal Clinic since the 80s. That's when they did travel to your house. We started with Dr. Jensen and have him look at our animals exclusively. We have had others, but our go to vet is Dr. Jensen. He's gone through animal deaths with us and our regular visits. I wish he was my Dr. He is a wonderful person and vet. I trust him completely with our pets. We have a Yorkie/Poo (12 yrs.) And she has allergies to preservatives. It took a little to pinpoint exactly what was making her so sick, but Dr. Jensen stuck with it and now she has to be on all nonpreservative foods and treats and daily meds since a puppy. When she is gone, we won't be getting any more animals, as we are seniors, and it's getting hard to take her out, down steps several times a day. She's my baby, and I will truly miss her and having an animal. Have had an animal since a little girl. So thank you so much to you, Mobile Animal Clinic, and most of all, Dr. Jensen. I have been going to this vet for 15 years. And November 3rd was the last day. I took my 2 boxers in to have their stomachs emptied as they got into my antibiotic and ate all the pills. I asked the doctor up front how much these shots were going to cost, and he said $36.00 per dog. Later when I picked them up I was given the total as $191.00. I asked way so high, when I was told that the total would be $100.00 for the service? The doctor without my approval gave them another shot that added on $74.00 to my bill. After thinking about this on my way home I became more upset. So, I called the vet back and when the doctor came on the line his first remarks were "I'm sorry that you are upset about the shots". Not, I'm sorry that I didn't call you for your permission. I asked him why he didn't call to ask me. He accused me of being nasty and said that he would refund the money for the unauthorizes shots and I was never to come back to this vet. Which I replied NO PROBLEM! I rated them 1 star, but if they offered no stars that is what I would have given And, yay for Dr. Nickerson for leaving this vet. Read Less

I completely disagree with the previous reviewer. Mobile Animal Clinic has gone above and beyond time and time again with our dogs. We have been going to Dr. Jensen for 15 years and trust him with the life of our pets completely. He always uses common sense medicine and is so kind. We have English Bulldogs which can kind of be a veterinary nightmare and he calms our worries and helps in any way possible. Once his wife even drove our fur baby all the way to Iowa State to have a surgery. He is not only an excellent vet but an excellent human being. Read Less

Had an appointment to bring our dog in. Then one of the vets (Dr. Nickerson) called my wife today and acted in an unprofessional manner by being rude to her because we weren't up to date on one of the shots. Even after explaining the situation, he proceeded to talk down to her and told her to go to another vet. You think they would offer to update the shot, not yell at you and send you away. I have been going to Mobile Animal Clinic for over a year now and they have never disappointed me. Even though there are a lot of animal clinics closer to my house, I still take my loved one to Mobile Animal Clinic. They have great prices on heartworm and frontline compared to other places, but much more importantly, they care about my dog as much as I care for him. Dr. Garner is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She is *extremely* compassionate towards my baby and is great with answering questions. I couldn't imagine finding a better veterinarian for my dog!
