Dr. Vipond is amazing. We take our two cats and dog to see him. For some reason, our high anxiety cat calms down when Dr. Vipond places his hands on him. Weird but true. He is so patient and explains everything and we never feel rushed. He even made a house call once so we didn’t have to make a special trip for our high anxiety cat. He is truly the best.

I continue to be impressed with Rockbrook Animal Clinic. We’ve taken our Chinese Sharpei Dudley there for nearly eight years but the visits have increased in frequency as Dudley grows older. We’ve been seen by several different vets and number of different technicians and they’ve always been informative and kind and sincere. We always leave feeling like we have the most special dog but I’m sure everyone leaves feeling the same way after being treated so well. And even after multiple visits we still keep learning new things about Dudley and how to best to care for him. I appreciate that they are committed to making sure both dog and owner are able to care for one another. In the last few visits we’ve had to have conversations about Dudley’s last few years, his quality of life, what to do if his symptoms worsen, etc. and the doctors are extremely kind and compassionate. I’m thankful for their compassion and straightforwardness as we have those conversations. Even though they’ve seen thousands of aging dogs and had hours of conversations with their owners, it always feels like we’re getting the best of their attention and kindness. Through all the stages of Dudley’s life, thank you for being a place we are totally comfortable bringing him.

I love this place. They are able to perfectly balance quality care and affordability. I'm young and live mostly paycheck to paycheck but have 5 pets including 2 rabbits (considered exotic so tend to be extra expensive) because I do rescue. They always work with me on a treatment plan I can afford but still get my pets well and never pressure me to do unnecessary tests or procedures.
For example I took my dog to the emergency vet because he ate a pack of gum at 11 at night. They charged me almost $1000 for overnight observation, fluids and meds and outright told me there were no other options when I told them I couldn't afford it. I ended up putting it on a credit card but taking him to Rockbrook the second they opened in the morning (another thing, they ALWAYS get me in when I need it) as E vet wanted to keep him another 24 hours and charge me another $1000. I explained that money was very tight so the Drs at Rockbrook did a very conservative treatment plan and monitored him closely all day, then let me take him home with instructions on what to watch for myself. Charged me less than $100, literally 10% of what the E-vet was going to charge for what they claimed was the only option. I have been to tons of vets and I honestly would not choose anywhere else over this clinic.

Dr . Kyle was there to help me. She checked him out, his leg was fine and he had a bit of the flu so he was given some meds and today he is back to his ole self. My first visit to this clinic was excellent; however, during my second visit, the staff person at the front desk seemed "put out" by me asking her to weigh my puppy. This soured the experience and because the first visit was so highly discounted, I was surprised to be met with a very high bill. I do believe that the front desk staff person was perhaps having a bad day but the fees here are just too high to warrant continued visits. The veterinarian was top notch and very caring with my puppy.

My cat's yearly physical was nothing more than a check of his ears and comments about his weight, which I would have liked to discuss with the veterinarian but did not feel inclined to do after his rough handling of said cat and bored tone. My inquiries about other concerns were brushed off. I did not feel heard and, as such, have found a veterinarian with better bedside manner. The Cat Clinic is amazing and I would recommend it to everyone!

Doctor Vipond was a fantastic doctor, the rest of the clinic wasn't that great. The receptionists were rude, and kept calling my cat a dog on one of my visits. I had to make several visits in the span of two months as one of my cats had a broken leg and most days, dealing with them left a sour taste in my mouth. There was one day that they had me leave the cat there for a cast change and never bothered to call when she was done. Other days I would wait an hour and a half for them to finish when they told me it'd be 15 minutes. I left after her leg was healed and haven't looked back since

I'm very confused after leaving Rockbrook. The staff seemed to be in a state of chaos when I took my dog in for her first visit. The staff did not ask me who I was or why I was there, they just sent me to one of the examination rooms. When a technician finally came in, he addressed me and my dog by the wrong names. It took him a few minutes to figure out that I was a new patient. He didn't seem to believe me or connect the dots (and to be fair, it wasn't his fault, it was the woman who booked my appointment's fault who didn't even ask me who I or my dog was).
The vet was kind to my dog and me amid the confusion. I'm not quite sure if I am going to go back. A little bit too disorganized for me, despite how awesome the vet was.

I brought my 13 year old cat here after a very thourogh search for the best vet in Omaha, I was not dissapointed. Unfortunately after lots of tests an X-ray and a cat scan they determined that the best route for my baby was to make him comfortable until I was ready to put him to sleep as he had a tumor in his bladder and it was too risky to operate. After a few weeks keeping him comfortable we decided it was time to put him down, they handled it with compassion and empathy and he went quickly and comfortably. After that experience I refuse to take my pets anywhere else. You will not get this kind of quality from any other clinic in Omaha.

Dr. Vipond is amazing. We take our two cats and dog to see him. For some reason, our high anxiety cat calms down when Dr. Vipond places his hands on him. Weird but true. He is so patient and explains everything and we never feel rushed. He even made a house call once so we didn’t have to make a special trip for our high anxiety cat. He is truly the best.

I continue to be impressed with Rockbrook Animal Clinic. We’ve taken our Chinese Sharpei Dudley there for nearly eight years but the visits have increased in frequency as Dudley grows older. We’ve been seen by several different vets and number of different technicians and they’ve always been informative and kind and sincere. We always leave feeling like we have the most special dog but I’m sure everyone leaves feeling the same way after being treated so well. And even after multiple visits we still keep learning new things about Dudley and how to best to care for him. I appreciate that they are committed to making sure both dog and owner are able to care for one another. In the last few visits we’ve had to have conversations about Dudley’s last few years, his quality of life, what to do if his symptoms worsen, etc. and the doctors are extremely kind and compassionate. I’m thankful for their compassion and straightforwardness as we have those conversations. Even though they’ve seen thousands of aging dogs and had hours of conversations with their owners, it always feels like we’re getting the best of their attention and kindness. Through all the stages of Dudley’s life, thank you for being a place we are totally comfortable bringing him.

I love this place. They are able to perfectly balance quality care and affordability. I'm young and live mostly paycheck to paycheck but have 5 pets including 2 rabbits (considered exotic so tend to be extra expensive) because I do rescue. They always work with me on a treatment plan I can afford but still get my pets well and never pressure me to do unnecessary tests or procedures.
For example I took my dog to the emergency vet because he ate a pack of gum at 11 at night. They charged me almost $1000 for overnight observation, fluids and meds and outright told me there were no other options when I told them I couldn't afford it. I ended up putting it on a credit card but taking him to Rockbrook the second they opened in the morning (another thing, they ALWAYS get me in when I need it) as E vet wanted to keep him another 24 hours and charge me another $1000. I explained that money was very tight so the Drs at Rockbrook did a very conservative treatment plan and monitored him closely all day, then let me take him home with instructions on what to watch for myself. Charged me less than $100, literally 10% of what the E-vet was going to charge for what they claimed was the only option. I have been to tons of vets and I honestly would not choose anywhere else over this clinic.

Dr . Kyle was there to help me. She checked him out, his leg was fine and he had a bit of the flu so he was given some meds and today he is back to his ole self. My first visit to this clinic was excellent; however, during my second visit, the staff person at the front desk seemed "put out" by me asking her to weigh my puppy. This soured the experience and because the first visit was so highly discounted, I was surprised to be met with a very high bill. I do believe that the front desk staff person was perhaps having a bad day but the fees here are just too high to warrant continued visits. The veterinarian was top notch and very caring with my puppy.

It was a very hard decision that we had to make and they make things so much easier for me and my family we had to make a hard decision we were not wanting to do but had to say it worked very hard to try and find every option that we could possibly do no matter how far was and he had to travel they called multiple doctors to see about getting us know if they were amazing doctor brand was amazing and reassuring when I was doubtful on with decision we had to make and was nervous and felt like I was shouldn't make that decision he was very reassuring in the fact that it was the right way we were meeting to go dr. Kyle was amazing she went above and beyond to make sure we could get what we needed to if we needed it and I every option available before we made any decisions altogether it was an amazing experience the sad one but I would be going back to Rock Creek if we had to and I hope we don't have to do any time soon thank you guys so much for everything you did and we appreciate it

My cat's yearly physical was nothing more than a check of his ears and comments about his weight, which I would have liked to discuss with the veterinarian but did not feel inclined to do after his rough handling of said cat and bored tone. My inquiries about other concerns were brushed off. I did not feel heard and, as such, have found a veterinarian with better bedside manner. The Cat Clinic is amazing and I would recommend it to everyone!

Doctor Vipond was a fantastic doctor, the rest of the clinic wasn't that great. The receptionists were rude, and kept calling my cat a dog on one of my visits. I had to make several visits in the span of two months as one of my cats had a broken leg and most days, dealing with them left a sour taste in my mouth. There was one day that they had me leave the cat there for a cast change and never bothered to call when she was done. Other days I would wait an hour and a half for them to finish when they told me it'd be 15 minutes. I left after her leg was healed and haven't looked back since

I'm very confused after leaving Rockbrook. The staff seemed to be in a state of chaos when I took my dog in for her first visit. The staff did not ask me who I was or why I was there, they just sent me to one of the examination rooms. When a technician finally came in, he addressed me and my dog by the wrong names. It took him a few minutes to figure out that I was a new patient. He didn't seem to believe me or connect the dots (and to be fair, it wasn't his fault, it was the woman who booked my appointment's fault who didn't even ask me who I or my dog was).
The vet was kind to my dog and me amid the confusion. I'm not quite sure if I am going to go back. A little bit too disorganized for me, despite how awesome the vet was.

Rockbrook Animal Clinic was able to fit us in last minute and Dr. Vipond was great, very personable, very knowledgable, and clearly knew how to handle fussy rabbits. Will definitely be returning.

I brought my 13 year old cat here after a very thourogh search for the best vet in Omaha, I was not dissapointed. Unfortunately after lots of tests an X-ray and a cat scan they determined that the best route for my baby was to make him comfortable until I was ready to put him to sleep as he had a tumor in his bladder and it was too risky to operate. After a few weeks keeping him comfortable we decided it was time to put him down, they handled it with compassion and empathy and he went quickly and comfortably. After that experience I refuse to take my pets anywhere else. You will not get this kind of quality from any other clinic in Omaha.
