Only giving two stars because they do the job right job but they charge an excessive amount for simple vaccines. For 3 shots I was charged $200 rabies, bordetella, and da2p. I got my dog as a puppy and fully vaccinated him for around $150 honestly all vets in Omaha will take a stab at your wallet, I suggest looking for a small town vet clinic.

Everyone there was so nice to my cat. They wanted to keep her for a few hours to do blood work and a urinalysis, but after I showed concern about leaving her there, they worked with me to do a take home test so she could come home with me. Very thankful for their help!

So thankful for this place! My cat had gotten attacked by a dog and had infected wounds and was on the verge of dying. The veteranian worked on the prices with us because they knew we did not have a lot of money. They gave us the initial exam for free! And truely cared about our cat not the money. We had an emergency situation with our cat and went immediately. There was a fast check-in and we were seen almost right away. Front desk service was kind as were all staff in the room. We were able to take our cat back in for the operation and picked her up the next day. She is now is a chipper as ever despite having a few less teeth. Thank you all at VCA!

We have been going here for over a year since our pup was 9 weeks old and I cannot say enough great things about this office! I will never go anywhere else. The doctors and staff are so caring, friendly and knowledgeable. The first time we came in was in an emergency. I was scared and they made the whole process smooth and reassuring. The doctors even sit on the floor to examine your furbaby to make them feel more comfortable! They were so incredible that we immediately established care there! The front desk staff is kind, the techs always show compassion and the doctors (we have seen 2) are amazing! They always make sure your questions are answered and have wonderful puppy/adult/senior dog plans that are affordable and cover nearly everything! Highly highly recommend to everyone!

Absolutely everything about my experience with this clinic was amazing. The girls at reception were kind and understanding, the veterinary assistant was knowledgeable and so sweet with my cat it made me feel very comfortable. And the veterinarian was able to make it quick and efficient diagnosis while still trying to work within my budget for what was needed to treat my cat. I am so impressed and would recommend them to absolutely anybody!

I went to VCA with a new cat and they gave me 2 different prices and packages for his first shots. One was $400 and the other one was $120. The tech kept telling me that it was cheaper at NHS (which is true). When I said I didn't have my credit card with me since they claim new kittens have a free check up and I wanted to go to NHS for the shots.She said to figure out a payment plan and she'll wait. I even asked if maybe I could come back another day. But she said they need to get done that day. I was in the room for 20 minutes trying to figure out how to pay for this and no one even came in to tell me we could wait or asked how I was doing. In the end after frantically trying to find a way to pay for a good amount of time the lady up front said I could have told her my checking account number and we would have been done. The actual veterinarian was nice but everyone else was unhelpful and rude. OVER PRICED AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I started coming to VCA80 after my cat started to block. repeatedly. My little fuzzy pal ninja, turns out is exceptionally sensitive to what he eats with regard to forming struvite crystals. We brought him here after multiple other vets just cathed him overnight and said he'd be fine. Dr. Baetenhorst (I don't actually know how to spell her last name as I'm on a first name basis with 95% of the office) recommended we give the fuzzbut PU surgery. To not be repeating the same options again I agreed, and surgery was scheduled for the following day. I was expecting a much higher premium for pet surgery so i was happy with the cost associated with this major procedure. Later on when we needed to have a stone removed, again the pricing was very agreeable. I really appreciate the work this vet does. This is also my goto boarding facility for either of my cats, and now my Chiweenie too.
The staff here is amazingly friendly and knows exactly who I am when I call and just say "hey its Skip." This is a level of familiarity and customer service you don't normally get in this day and age.
My one concern is that one of these days ill go and they wont give me Ninja back as he is an office favorite and everybody there loves him.
(Since this is the internet i should probably specify I'm not actually worried about not getting my kitty back, Ninja is just exceptionally friendly and loves people, and as a result the staff love him.)
5 stars, would go back. in fact I'm dropping off my pupper today for boarding since i have to leave for a business trip tomorrow morning.

I had a terrible experience at VCA and will not be taking my pet here again. I arrived early for my 6:30 PM appointment and had to wait for over 45 minutes for the vet tech to see me. Additionally, the pricing of basic services at VCA is borderline predatory. They initially tried to sell me a $480 "care plan" for my pet that included a wide array of overpriced services, including $20 for a $2.99 bottle of canine ear cleaner at PetSmart! Their vaccination prices were much higher than other veterinarians in my area as well, and they did not offer me the more economical 3-year rabies vaccination either.
Additionally, the exam room I was in was very dirty, with large amounts of pet hair on almost every surface. I also observed what appeared to be blood spatter on the wall near the door to the lobby.
Their veterinary prescription prices are not competitive either. They charged me $28 for 15 20MG tabs of prednisone for my Australian Shepherd. To put this into perspective Walmart has this drug on their $5 generic list. I expect to pay a premium at the vet office but nowhere near this much. Another local vet charges $15 for the same prescription.
The only positive comment that I can make here is that they did a great job of cutting my pet's nails for only $19. They were cut nice and short.

From far out of town not wanting to leave him in a blazing hot car I called them and they were absolutely amazing and willing to watch over him while our son had his appointment. Everyone was more than friendly and sweet to us. If I lived in town I'd absolutely bring him here for care. HUGE THANK YOU to the staff from Ollie the Boston terrier and his mama!

I started going to VCA 80 when I needed to board my dog many years ago. I have since switched the care of all my animals (two cats and the dog) to this location as the staff is great and all the Veterinarians I have seen have shown great passion in the care of your pets.
Last year one of my cats got sick and the help and support they gave me when he did not recover was amazing and helped me through the difficult decision as to when it is time to say goodbye.
The vet fees are a little higher then some of the other area vets by the care and attention my animals receive makes it worthwhile.
I should also add that I still board my dog here when I travel and she is always so excited to go and visit with the friendly vet techs. I never worry about her care while I am out of town as I know the vets and technicians here will care for her as their own.

Their veterinary prescription prices are not competitive either. They charged me $28 for 15 20MG tabs of prednisone for my Australian Shepherd. To put this into perspective Walmart has this drug on their $5 generic list. I expect to pay a premium at the vet office but nowhere near this much. Another local vet charges $15 for the same prescription.
The only positive comment that I can make here is that they did a great job of cutting my pet's nails for only $19. They were cut nice and short.

From far out of town not wanting to leave him in a blazing hot car I called them and they were absolutely amazing and willing to watch over him while our son had his appointment. Everyone was more than friendly and sweet to us. If I lived in town I'd absolutely bring him here for care. HUGE THANK YOU to the staff from Ollie the Boston terrier and his mama!

I started going to VCA 80 when I needed to board my dog many years ago. I have since switched the care of all my animals (two cats and the dog) to this location as the staff is great and all the Veterinarians I have seen have shown great passion in the care of your pets.
Last year one of my cats got sick and the help and support they gave me when he did not recover was amazing and helped me through the difficult decision as to when it is time to say goodbye.
The vet fees are a little higher then some of the other area vets by the care and attention my animals receive makes it worthwhile.
I should also add that I still board my dog here when I travel and she is always so excited to go and visit with the friendly vet techs. I never worry about her care while I am out of town as I know the vets and technicians here will care for her as their own.
