The staff was polite, handled my cats well and were very informative. It was the best vet experience our family has had with a vet visit in a long time. When looking at pet plans they were okay waiting to decide until my cat's teeth had been looked at. I can't be more pleased.

Awesome! My little 7lb min pin needed emergency surgery to survive! Every place I called or went to quoted me a minimum price of $5000! I freaked out! I didn't have anywhere near that much! I thought my baby was gonna die! Then an honest miracle happened! Thank God the amazing staff at VCA told me that they could do the procedure for only $500! I couldn't believe it! When I went to pick her up, even though she was still sore and couldn't walk yet, I could see the spark of life in her eyes that I hadn't seen in a long time! I cried! I had my baby back! Now, 3 months later, she has made a full recovery, and is running and playing again!
My host heartfelt thank you to the staff at VCA, you saved my baby girl! God bless you!!

Dr. Mix is amazing. This isn't a vets office that you walk in and they are end all be all. They tell you options, they accept care credit, theu don't play the "god" role. They take your feeling and budget into consideration. Very friendly and willing to answer all your questions. I have used VCA offices in several states and will always go back to them. Their military discount is a bonus too

Took our new pup in for her initial visit. We got her at 4 months and immediately noticed she had worms. The staff took amazing care of her and set her on a treatment plan while still accommodating our budget. It's refreshing to see a vet who could have charged us for unnecessary test to make an immediate diagnosis and make sure our pup was cared for.

Dr. Halsey and Wendy were able to put my cat at ease and he hates everyone. I was very impressed. They understood our needs and bond we have. They were able to handle him in a manner that allowed them to do the tests he needed with the least amount of stress possible. Very kind, gentle, and professional. The staff is very welcoming. Would have given it 5 stars but it's a bit pricey. However, they do give discounted vaccinations on Thursdays.

My first visit to VCA went nice and smoothly, although I initially asked for an appointment with a different vet than who I actually saw -- no big deal.
However, my second visit was somewhat nightmarish -- I had to call over 6 times to find out my pet's lab results. I was promised calls back 2 different times and never received one call in return. One thing was lacking throughout this entire experience -- communication. Unfortunately, this lack of communication lost my trust completely and I will be going elsewhere for my veterinary services.

Dr. Mix and the staff at VCA Askarben exceed our expectations regularly. Our dog got pregnant and we had a short trip planned a couple weeks after they were due and they offered to board them there and watch momma, all 7 puppies and the dad dog as well. They were treated so well while they were there. I even had a staff member call to tell me how much she loved our dogs and that when she was off for the night she would take them for an extra walk, just because she's so nice! They've been wonderful throughout the pregnancy and now while our puppies are still young and with us. We will be recommending this VCA location to all of our new puppy owners when we give them to their homes. We are so impressed and thankful for the staff at VCA Askarben!

Many Years I have been coming here to see Dr Cory. countless times he has been above and beyond what you search for in your Vet. Anytime you need him, he is there for you and if it is his day off. the other dr's are awesome, friendly helpful and genuinely care for you. The pricing is affordable. Just know to look past the corporate we have to offer you this stuff. The staff makes this place Great.. from the front of the house to the techs and Doc's in the back.

My initial experience was pretty great. The vet and vet tech were nice and the receptionist was kind. My dog was ill and required blood work. I was told the results would be in within 24 hours and the vet would call me. That didn't happen. I called multiple times and was promised a call back. The evening receptionist was incredibly rude. I was promised a call back before they closed which they did not deliver on. I'm still concerned for my dog and have no idea if her blood work came back normal. Like I said, I was happy with my initial visit and planned on returning for future needs. Because of the evening receptionist treating me poorly and having an unnecessary attitude and the fact they didn't deliver on what was promised, I will not be taking my pup there. I suggest taking your business somewhere else.

Last year I finally got my first ever puppy (dream come true), and I was very cautious of were to take him for his Vet-needs.
After Googling for awhile I finally found this VCA and I actually also was referred by a friend that is also taking his dog here.
They offer a great insurance packet with monthly payments. Definitely makes it hassle and worry free for any young professional that might have a busy lifestyle.

The only reason I would give this clinic 4 stars is because of Dr. Cory. I have used Dr. Cory for many years, since the 1990's, and he is an excellent vet. I used to work with him so I know how he is behind the scenes as well and he takes great care of his patients. He is very knowledgeable and is caring and takes time to talk to the pets owners and explains things. I recently had to switch offices because I can no longer afford to go there since VCA took over the clinic. The prices sky rocketed and are twice as much as where I go now. Not Dr. Cory's fault, but regardless the corporation makes it difficult for a normal person to care for their animals....... I wish they actually cared more about the animals then the money, but they don't.... being a corporation like they are they would let your pet die right in front of you If you didn't have the money right there and then to pay for it.... Makes me sad I have to lose out on a Great Vet as Dr. Cory is, but I just cant afford it.

I thought my baby was gonna die! Then an honest miracle happened! Thank God the amazing staff at VCA told me that they could do the procedure for only $500! I couldn't believe it! The staff took amazing care of her and set her on a treatment plan while still accommodating our budget. However, my second visit was somewhat nightmarish -- I had to call over 6 times to find out my pet's lab results. I was promised calls back 2 different times and never received one call in return. One thing was lacking throughout this entire experience -- communication. Unfortunately, this lack of communication lost my trust completely and I will be going elsewhere for my veterinary services.

Dr. Mix and the staff at VCA Askarben exceed our expectations regularly. Our dog got pregnant and we had a short trip planned a couple weeks after they were due and they offered to board them there and watch momma, all 7 puppies and the dad dog as well. They were treated so well while they were there. I even had a staff member call to tell me how much she loved our dogs and that when she was off for the night she would take them for an extra walk, just because she's so nice! They've been wonderful throughout the pregnancy and now while our puppies are still young and with us. My initial experience was pretty great. The vet and vet tech were nice and the receptionist was kind. My dog was ill and required blood work. I was told the results would be in within 24 hours and the vet would call me. That didn't happen. I called multiple times and was promised a call back. The evening receptionist was incredibly rude. I was promised a call back before they closed which they did not deliver on. I'm still concerned for my dog and have no idea if her blood work came back normal. Like I said, I was happy with my initial visit and planned on returning for future needs. Because of the evening receptionist treating me poorly and having an unnecessary attitude and the fact they didn't deliver on what was promised, I will not be taking my pup there. I suggest taking your business somewhere else.
