Dr. Jennifer Sokol is an absolute God send! She has been so good to my fur baby from day one. I got lucky and she was at the location closer to my home but her main hospital is the West Maple location. When I enrolled my 8.5yr old, his original doctor was sort of dismissive with my concerns but then I met Dr. Sokol. She went above and beyond and out of her way to explain her diagnosis and care plan. She has eased my worries mind more than any Veterinarian Deziderio has been to. I highly recommend Dr. Sokol for the simplest care to the more serious procedures!!! Read Less

I got shots for my pup 18 months ago and ut turns out I have been charged 32 dollars every month since then for their wellness plan which I had no idea was reoccuring nor renewable without consent. All in all, rabies shots and a heart worm treatment cost me 700 dollars. Thank god I finally noticed it this month. Im disgusted and too exhausted to fight them on it but as a warning to others dont sign any paperwork that you havent read thoroughly because their sales reps certainly didnt explain everything like I believed they did. Which is a shame because they were nice folks from what I can rememeber from my visit all those months ago... Read Less

I took my dog here a couple of times and the our last appointment was the most traumatic. I don't remember who our doctor was, but they had recommended we get our dog's teeth cleaned. We had one of those wellness plans and dental cleaning was "included" with what we paid each month. We dropped our dog off in the morning and they said they would call us when it was time to pick her up or if they had any issues. They called us around 5pm for a pick up and when we were waiting for the vet techs to bring out our dog, the woman ringing us up told us there were some complications where they had given our dog too much anesthesia and they were required to give her a shot to help her wake up. What was supposed to be routine and "included" in our wellness plan, ended up costing us over $700 in fees and "extra precautionary" medication. I was upset by their lack of communication. I immediately stopped going to Banfield. Read Less
