This vet tried to save our cat from a intestinal blockage. He did perform surgery after we visited two other vets looking for a surgery. I was lead to believe that this was more of a "hospital". This is simply another vet. Our cat was left unattended after surgery to die in a cage over the weekend. I would recommend taking your pet to a real "hospital" if you even think for a second the matter is life threatening. Otherwise I think the vet is fantastic. He has taken extremely good care of them, put them back together numerous times, kenneled them, put some down at the last possible moment, and has always done the job with care and compassion and at a reasonable price. I took all my animals to the Langley Animal Hospitals when I lived in Bellevue. The staff there was very friendly and knowledgeable. My Saint Bernard and Cat both had hip issues and they were able to give them the care they needed to get them healthy again. Doctor Langley, his staff and Miss Janie are the best. They have treated all my pets just as I do, with kindness and respect. I have had the not only the standard check up experience, but I've had the extreme high and the extreme low experiences and Doctor Langley and his staff have shown me the kindness and compassion I needed in each situation. I have had 2 babies that spent their last breath in his office and I have had a litter that took their first breath in his office. Most impressive to me is Doctor Langley not only gave me his personal phone (1st litter and I was not sure what I was doing) but he answered my phone call at 6:00 am on a Sunday and met me in his office by 9:30 that morning. I can not say enough good things about Langley Animal Hospital. Dr. Langley goes absolutely above and beyond to care for animals. He is hands-down the best veterinarian I have found. He makes it very easy to understand the care needed for animals and is always referencing how the animals may feel in a situation. He does this out of passion, not for the money obviously because their prices are phenomenal comparable to others in the area. I have been going to this animal hospital since 2012 and the service is amazing. My dogs have been treated for multiple things such as teeth cleaning, routine shots and heartworm test, pancreatitus and diabetes. We have also kenneled our dogs here while on vacation. The staff and doctors are wonderful and so attentive to both my dogs and even my needs. Dr. Mike has called me at 11 at night when my dog had to stay over night to give me an update. I've been going to Langley for 6 yrs now and am so sad I'll be moving. I'll never find a clinic as special as this one. They treat everyone and every pet like family. Both the vet and boarding services are awesome. While for safety reasons my two dogs couldn't be kept in the same kennel they walked them together so the two would know the other was still close by.
