Dr Pulver is a great vet for a lot of reasons. The most important one to me is that he has saved my dog's life on me than one occasion, and thanks to him my oldest friend can still enjoy her life. A vet that you can trust completely is invaluable. You can tell that he really cares about you and your pets; and you can trust that he will be honest with you and give you every option. Beyond that, his staff is great. Everyone is very friendly and helpful; even when they're really busy, and you're freaking out about your buddy. Look no further! I have a neurotic, over-protective yellow lab, named Jethro. I took him to another vet before Timberline, and was very disillusioned with their service. The minute I informed the other Vet, that I was on a 'budget", she did not want anything to do with Jethro. Well, Timberline, is completely different. Not only did the entire staff, work with me in helping Jethro get over his anxiety, but they were patient, understanding. They never rushed the process, helped me get pre-checked in so Jethro could just go directly into a room. When they approached Jethro, they did so in such a caring and gently way, that Jethro took to them right away, (the treats helped!! :) ). Dr. Pulver worked with me, and appreciated my being upfront and direct. He helped me understand what was troubling Jethro (ear infection), but was not put off by the whole "budget" thing. He gave me several options, and let me choose BEFORE any work or treatment was performed. He was so caring and understanding with Jethro. The whole experience was so easy for Jethro, and me. I love this place, so does Jethro. Looks like Jethro has a new Vet!!

We took our older dog for an overdue checkup and they treated her great. She loves the Dr. and they worked with us to keep costs reasonable. A few weeks later we had an emergency and had to take her to another hospital during off hours. The Dr was notified and called to follow up on her the next day. They are available for questions etc. even for the pet sitter when we are out of town. I wish people Drs were half as helpful. 👍🏼👍🏼

I first came to Timberline with an urgent need for eye care for my dog when I could get an appointment six hours sooner than with my usual veterinary practice. My dog received personal prompt care which led to her eye completely healed as planned within one week. We've been back since and it is great to see the same vet each time. I highly recommend Timberline!

My two yorkies had always been seen by Dr Euse and when I heard he had retired,I must say I was concerned. Dr Mike Pulver sure put my concerns to rest, as he and his staff are wonderful to deal with. They are very understanding, caring people. I had to have my old Yorkie put to sleep yesterday and Dr Pulver was so caring and gentle. Needless to say he and the staff saw me at my worst. They explained everything in detail and gave me the time and more time that I needed to say goodbye to my fur baby. I would highly recommend them to anyone with new and old fur babies.Thank you Dr Pulver and staff.

Dr. Mike Pulver has always been so kind and gentle with our animals. I've been to several vets in Carson City, and none can compare to Dr. Pulvers Clinic. When you step through that door, you are greeted by a warm welcome and a hello. Not only are you welcomed, but your animal is welcomed as well. They know you by name, they know your animals name too. There is very little waiting time if any at all. You and your animal are brought to a cozy little room where you both wait for the Doc. Once he arrives, his smile alone and animal loving nature will make you and your animal feel like he's been a friend for years. He covers all areas and holds your pet as if it were his own. He will tell you about all the things that your animal may benefit from. Dr. Pulver is the very best at what he does not because he is liscensed to do so, but because of his love and care for each and every animal that comes through his door. My animals health is very important, and Dr. Pulver is who makes my animal a healthy one.

After witnessing some very questionable procedures and ethics from other local vets, we decided to give Dr. Pulver a try. We started researching local vet offices and reading their reviews. We were amazed by the praise Timberline Animal Hospital received. They out shined other offices with positive reviews. We have 4 needy dogs, all with health issues. The history of our four legged family members is mostly unknown. They are all rescues. We needed a vet we could trust and rely on to help our dogs as they age. I could not be more impressed from the care and service we received here. Dr. Pulver and his staff go above and beyond to treat and CARE for your family members. I am relieved to have finally found a veterinarian that has such passion for his work and takes pride in his ability to help animals and their humans! All four of our dogs have special needs and require constant testing. This gets expensive. Dr. Pulver is aware of the expenses and works with you to arrive at a conclusion that is best for you and your fur baby. I recommend him to everyone I know. A Big thank you to Dr. Pulver and his staff, including his receptionists who are always friendly and supportive. Thank you!

We are new to Timberline, after our first experience, I will never go anywhere else! Dr. Pulver and the entire staff were amazing! They were all so nice and helpful, spent a lot of time with my new puppy, and answered all of my questions and then some. You can tell they all love what they do and truly care. The facilities were very clean and well kept. In addition, their prices are extremely affordable. I was pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be returning!

Dr. Pulver and his staff are all so kind and caring! I am very comfortable when having to leave my puppy with the staff there. I know she will be treated well and cared for. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable, and we have never, ever had an issue with Timberline, and don't ever anticipate to. He has helped us with since she way a puppy, treating and diagnosing skin problems, an ear hematoma, comprehensive blood-work analysis and information, and very recently, an eye wound after an unfortunate encounter with a less-friendly canine. I recently moved to the Carson City area from Chicago, and my fur baby didn't take the relocation so well. I immediately took him to Dr. Pulver to put my mind at ease and rule out something more serious. I could not be more happy with the choice I made to take him to this office. Dr. Pulver and his staff surpassed all my expectations for customer service, attention, communication, and compassion. All of my questions were answered by the knowledgable staff, and I walked out amazed by the care as well as the cost efficiency of the visit and medication. To my surprise, Dr Pulver even followed up the next week by phone. This office gets five stars all around, as it is definitely the best veterinary care I've ever received.

I have a chocolate lab/shar pei mix who suffers from a disorder called Familial Shar-Pei Fever (FSF), which is a hereditary inflammatory disorder. Dr. Pulver is amazing and has gone above and beyond to help me understand this disorder and to help my boy lead a full happy life. Anytime I have questions, concerns, or when my boy has an episode Dr. Pulver calls me back right away! I travel from Reno to Carson just to see him and would not consider taking my fur babies anywhere else! I highly recommend Dr. Pulver!! Great staff too!

I have lived in Carson (recently relocated to Reno) for 3.5 years and this is by far one of the top vets I have visited. Very knowledgeable, concerned and kind to both my dog and me. The atmosphere is very "down to earth" and you don't feel like you are walking in to a huge hospital. Dr. Mike is very thorough and makes sure you have all of your questions answered before you leave.

I was a client of Silver Hills Vet for many, many years and was a bit worried when I heard Dr. Euse was retiring. I want to say that my husband and I have been very happy with Dr. Pulver and his staff. The first time I met Dr. Pulver was the day we had to have our dog put to sleep, and needless to say the poor man saw me at my very worst. He was so understanding and compassionate, and I will be forever grateful to him for how he help us that day. We have since adopted two other dogs and he has provided great care to the dogs and our two cats. I miss Dr. Euse, Dr. Minor, and Adrienne but we are very pleased to have Dr. Pulver as our vet.

This place is great. We made an appointment the same day I called. Everyone is very courteous and respectful. Dr. Pulver was patient and very informative. We wanted and anti-anxiety medication to calm down our dog for long drives back to the bay area. Dr. Pulver informed us of all of our options to reduce our dog's anxiety and told us the side effects of the medication we wanted unsolicited. He and his assistant made their best efforts to make our little barky dog happy and comfortable. The doctor even sat down on the floor so my dog could thoroughly check him out. His friendly, open personality and the fact that he received his doctorate from Cornell made us very comfortable entrusting our dogs' health with him. Unlike other vets we have been to, this practice was very friendly and the staff seemed to really care.

Dr Pulver is a great vet for a lot of reasons. The most important one to me is that he has saved my dog's life on me than one occasion, and thanks to him my oldest friend can still enjoy her life. A vet that you can trust completely is invaluable. You can tell that he really cares about you and your pets; and you can trust that he will be honest with you and give you every option. Beyond that, his staff is great. Everyone is very friendly and helpful; even when they're really busy, and you're freaking out about your buddy. Look no further! I have a neurotic, over-protective yellow lab, named Jethro. I took him to another vet before Timberline, and was very disillusioned with their service. The minute I informed the other Vet, that I was on a 'budget", she did not want anything to do with Jethro. Well, Timberline, is completely different. Not only did the entire staff, work with me in helping Jethro get over his anxiety, but they were patient, understanding. They never rushed the process, helped me get pre-checked in so Jethro could just go directly into a room. When they approached Jethro, they did so in such a caring and gently way, that Jethro took to them right away, (the treats helped!! :) ). Dr. Pulver worked with me, and appreciated my being upfront and direct. He helped me understand what was troubling Jethro (ear infection), but was not put off by the whole "budget" thing. He gave me several options, and let me choose BEFORE any work or treatment was performed. He was so caring and understanding with Jethro. The whole experience was so easy for Jethro, and me. I love this place, so does Jethro. Looks like Jethro has a new Vet!!

We took our older dog for an overdue checkup and they treated her great. She loves the Dr. and they worked with us to keep costs reasonable. A few weeks later we had an emergency and had to take her to another hospital during off hours. The Dr was notified and called to follow up on her the next day. They are available for questions etc. even for the pet sitter when we are out of town. I wish people Drs were half as helpful. 👍🏼👍🏼

They are very understanding, caring people. I had to have my old Yorkie put to sleep yesterday and Dr Pulver was so caring and gentle. Needless to say he and the staff saw me at my worst. They explained everything in detail and gave me the time and more time that I needed to say goodbye to my fur baby. Dr. Mike Pulver has always been so kind and gentle with our animals. I've been to several vets in Carson City, and none can compare to Dr. Pulvers Clinic. When you step through that door, you are greeted by a warm welcome and a hello. Not only are you welcomed, but your animal is welcomed as well. They know you by name, they know your animals name too. There is very little waiting time if any at all. You and your animal are brought to a cozy little room where you both wait for the Doc. Once he arrives, his smile alone and animal loving nature will make you and your animal feel like he's been a friend for years. He covers all areas and holds your pet as if it were his own. He will tell you about all the things that your animal may benefit from. Dr. Pulver is the very best at what he does not because he is liscensed to do so, but because of his love and care for each and every animal that comes through his door. My animals health is very important, and Dr. Pulver is who makes my animal a healthy one.

After witnessing some very questionable procedures and ethics from other local vets, we decided to give Dr. Pulver a try. We started researching local vet offices and reading their reviews. We were amazed by the praise Timberline Animal Hospital received. They out shined other offices with positive reviews. We have 4 needy dogs, all with health issues. The history of our four legged family members is mostly unknown. They are all rescues. We needed a vet we could trust and rely on to help our dogs as they age. I could not be more impressed from the care and service we received here. Dr. Pulver and his staff go above and beyond to treat and CARE for your family members. I am relieved to have finally found a veterinarian that has such passion for his work and takes pride in his ability to help animals and their humans! All four of our dogs have special needs and require constant testing. This gets expensive. Dr. Pulver is aware of the expenses and works with you to arrive at a conclusion that is best for you and your fur baby. I recommend him to everyone I know. We are new to Timberline, after our first experience, I will never go anywhere else! Dr. Pulver and the entire staff were amazing! They were all so nice and helpful, spent a lot of time with my new puppy, and answered all of my questions and then some. You can tell they all love what they do and truly care. The facilities were very clean and well kept. In addition, their prices are extremely affordable. I was pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be returning!

I recently moved to the Carson City area from Chicago, and my fur baby didn't take the relocation so well. I immediately took him to Dr. Pulver to put my mind at ease and rule out something more serious. I could not be more happy with the choice I made to take him to this office. Dr. Pulver and his staff surpassed all my expectations for customer service, attention, communication, and compassion. All of my questions were answered by the knowledgable staff, and I walked out amazed by the care as well as the cost efficiency of the visit and medication. To my surprise, Dr Pulver even followed up the next week by phone. This office gets five stars all around, as it is definitely the best veterinary care I've ever received.

Dr. Pulver is amazing and has gone above and beyond to help me understand this disorder and to help my boy lead a full happy life. Anytime I have questions, concerns, or when my boy has an episode Dr. Pulver calls me back right away! The atmosphere is very "down to earth" and you don't feel like you are walking in to a huge hospital. I was a client of Silver Hills Vet for many, many years and was a bit worried when I heard Dr. Euse was retiring. I want to say that my husband and I have been very happy with Dr. Pulver and his staff. The first time I met Dr. Pulver was the day we had to have our dog put to sleep, and needless to say the poor man saw me at my very worst. He was so understanding and compassionate, and I will be forever grateful to him for how he help us that day. We have since adopted two other dogs and he has provided great care to the dogs and our two cats. I miss Dr. Euse, Dr. Minor, and Adrienne but we are very pleased to have Dr. Pulver as our vet.

This place is great. We made an appointment the same day I called. Everyone is very courteous and respectful. Dr. Pulver was patient and very informative. We wanted and anti-anxiety medication to calm down our dog for long drives back to the bay area. Dr. Pulver informed us of all of our options to reduce our dog's anxiety and told us the side effects of the medication we wanted unsolicited. He and his assistant made their best efforts to make our little barky dog happy and comfortable. The doctor even sat down on the floor so my dog could thoroughly check him out. His friendly, open personality and the fact that he received his doctorate from Cornell made us very comfortable entrusting our dogs' health with him. Unlike other vets we have been to, this practice was very friendly and the staff seemed to really care.
