WARNING! Highly unethical charges. This Veterinarian tried to charge me almost $2400.00 for a routine procedure to cure an animal of a ruptured abscess. Another vet the next day sent my home with an antibiotic and instructions for care the same day for $140.00. Snead wanted to keep my animal overnight and run a laundry list of unnecessary tests for an injury that is routine with male cats.
My cat is cured. Without the help of Jonathan Snead. I have informed my bank and I am pursuing a reverse of charges. This experience was nothing short of criminal. Another ideal episode for the Fleecing of America.

Highly expensive here, I also don't agree with vet to keep a dog on nothing but dry food! He also conned someone I knew to keep her cat in their hospital instead of putting poor animal down, was diagnosed with a terminal illness, then after charging her well over $1,000 in billing sent her & cat home & the poor cat still suffered & eventually had to get put down few months later! All Dr Snead worries about, is how to line his pocket with your money whether you could or couldn't afford it.
I took my dog in for his shots I kept getting them telling different prices with all shots they wanted to give my dog, would have been over $200 & @ that time he was current on his shots, told me my dog was way too fat & demands for my dog to get on a diet. The type of bread my dog is, & he's got large bone structure! My dog is no way by any stretch of the imagination fat!
DON'T GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET(S) IF YOUR PET IS SICK, &/OR YOU'RE ON A FIXED INCOME!

I loved this place. I would totally recommend them for any vet care needed. I loved the doctor and staff. They were very professional polite and quick. Very informative as well. When making my appointment the lady on the phone even tried to help me save money by recommending a special clinic for shots but sadly I could not make those days and times. They took the time to answer questions and explain everything without being in a hurry to push us out the door. This place is definitely our new vet.

Stay away! Took my dog there for a teeth cleaning that was supposed to cost $125 on a special, then the charge for a check and mandatory x-rays and the price is $237 . The price is not even the issue, I asked several times to call the extra phone # I left if he needs teeth removal and they called my phone which was off and bcs of that My dog had to be sedated twice due the their bad service! When they called to say some teeth needs to be removed they didn't mention the price just their 30% discount. They charged on a discount $80 per tooth . I got an estimate from a different vet which I'm regret not going to, that said that maybe two teeth need to be removed yet they decided 4 need to be removed without saying so on the phone. The total bill was $560, and my biggest concern is that they took out healthy teeth just to make extra $$ . I will get the x rays and check it with several other vets . Do not go there!!

Wow, the Valle Verde Animal Hospital is simply amazing! From the receptionist to the technicians they were all great. My dog Platanito was checked and recheck Dr . Snead due to what he had and he made me feel better and told me the he would be okay and my dog was. Even though he stayed the night at their sister hospital he was treated by Dr.Snead and again in the morning. Thanks to him we found out what was wrong and he is being treat by the best in the business. Plus, its always awesome to hear him say he that LOVES what he does and he shows it in all the things he do as well as in will every pet he treats!

There's no words to describe the care given at Valle Verde Animal hospital! I love going into a place where people know their job and love it! Every person here from Joy the receptionist to Veronica or Victoria (I always get it confused) the vet tech, to Dr. Snead (Mr. Amazing) himself you and your animal family will be well taken care of! Let me not forget Rosie the big beautiful dog who's normally lying around somewhere. Kind, understanding, compassionate, respectful...the list goes on and on and on! I'm new to Henderson in the last year. My son got a puppy whom we sadly had to put down as she came from a horrible puppy mill with distemper. My son who's only 9 just lost a dog a year or so ago from being hit by a car. He carries such guilt because he opened the house door and she got out. I was so afraid he would find a way to blame himself for this puppies death, Dr.Snead went beyond his job and was even willing to sit down and explain to my son none of this was his fault. In the last few months his Dad got him another puppy and what does he have? Distemper! Another puppy mill! I thought here we go again... Dr. Snead now had to sit me down He thoroughly explained distemper and that we could have a healthy puppy live a long life with it! Here we are about 6 months later with still a very healthy loving puppy! We also had many vet bills that Joy helped with in every way possible to include talking on my cell phone to my son's Dad all the way in Saudi Arabia! I know this was a long post but I needed to explain just how much they really care and go above and beyond truly! Thank you so much Valle Verde Animal Hospital! We love you! The Wann Family

Made an appointment for my cat Princess to get her teeth cleaned and get all of her shots. From the moment I walked into the door, I was treated as well as the pets. Friendly staff and they are so patient as I asked questions, line after line after line. They respected my choice to make a decision and gave me all the options with a top price and a low price so I knew what to expect. They even called me when she woke up to let me know she was in recovery. I have honestly found Princesses new primary care provider!

Our new Mommy brought us in to Dr. Snead's office the other day and everyone was paw-fect! My sister, Wednesday Addams, and myself were so happy to meet everyone. They paid lots of attention to us. And even though we had to get some shots, they were kind and gentle. They were able to answer all of our new mommy's questions so that she too could take care of us. We hope that every pet can get the love, affection, and care Dr. Snead and his staff showed us.

I was never informed that in addition to my dog's teeth cleaning there would be an additional charge for an office visit. When I disputed the $45.00 office visit with my credit card company Valle Verde provided them with a FALSE prior authorization for treatment. The charges that they listed were exactly the same as the charges when I picked up my dog. What they provided was actually the FINAL statement and if someone would match the two bills they are exactly the same. They hand wrote "pre-authorization" on the statement. If someone would review the charges they can see that those charges wouldn't have been known until after they finished the cleaning. Also, Valle Verde Animal Hospital lied to me. They said that the office visit charge was listed in The Living Social ad, which it wasn't, and this was brought to the attention of Living Social. When I asked Valle Verde Animal Hospital again about the charge that wasn't included in the ad they said "it's understood". How could a charge be "understood" and for any random amount? Business' should not be allowed to get away with deceptive and deceitful practices. I wonder how honest they were about my dog's treatment. In a court of law if someone lies once everything they say after that is presumed to be a lie. Shame on them.

We took my 11 year old Beagle (Murphy) in after he stopped eating last Thursday. After test and x-rays showed he had a large mass growing on his liver, Dr. Murphy suggested surgery immediately to try to remove it. We agreed to bring him in Saturday morning as we wanted a last night with him to say goodbye as there was a very real possibility that he would need to be put down in surgery depending on what was discovered.
The surgery was complicated. The softball size mass was attached to his liver. They had to remove the mass, a portion of liver and the spleen. Dr. Murphy NEVER gave up on our dog. We brought him home Saturday night. It was a difficult evening as Murphy was very weak and in pain, but we made it through and Sunday morning he was able to get up and move around. A few short days later, he is doing truly amazing. I am now confident he will be back to himself in no time.
We cannot thank Dr. Murphy and staff for not giving up on our baby and allowing us this extra time with him. We just weren't quite ready to let go.

Every person here from Joy the receptionist to Veronica or Victoria (I always get it confused) the vet tech, to Dr. Snead (Mr. Amazing) himself you and your animal family will be well taken care of! Let me not forget Rosie the big beautiful dog who's normally lying around somewhere. Kind, understanding, compassionate, respectful...the list goes on and on and on! I'm new to Henderson in the last year. My son got a puppy whom we sadly had to put down as she came from a horrible puppy mill with distemper. My son who's only 9 just lost a dog a year or so ago from being hit by a car. He carries such guilt because he opened the house door and she got out. I was so afraid he would find a way to blame himself for this puppies death, Dr.Snead went beyond his job and was even willing to sit down and explain to my son none of this was his fault. In the last few months his Dad got him another puppy and what does he have? Distemper! Another puppy mill! I thought here we go again... Dr. Snead now had to sit me down He thoroughly explained distemper and that we could have a healthy puppy live a long life with it! Here we are about 6 months later with still a very healthy loving puppy! We also had many vet bills that Joy helped with in every way possible to include talking on my cell phone to my son's Dad all the way in Saudi Arabia! I know this was a long post but I needed to explain just how much they really care and go above and beyond truly! Thank you so much Valle Verde Animal Hospital! We love you! The Wann Family

Made an appointment for my cat Princess to get her teeth cleaned and get all of her shots. From the moment I walked into the door, I was treated as well as the pets. Friendly staff and they are so patient as I asked questions, line after line after line. They respected my choice to make a decision and gave me all the options with a top price and a low price so I knew what to expect. They even called me when she woke up to let me know she was in recovery. I have honestly found Princesses new primary care provider!

Our new Mommy brought us in to Dr. Snead's office the other day and everyone was paw-fect! My sister, Wednesday Addams, and myself were so happy to meet everyone. They paid lots of attention to us. And even though we had to get some shots, they were kind and gentle. They were able to answer all of our new mommy's questions so that she too could take care of us. We hope that every pet can get the love, affection, and care Dr. Snead and his staff showed us.

I was never informed that in addition to my dog's teeth cleaning there would be an additional charge for an office visit. When I disputed the $45.00 office visit with my credit card company Valle Verde provided them with a FALSE prior authorization for treatment. The charges that they listed were exactly the same as the charges when I picked up my dog. What they provided was actually the FINAL statement and if someone would match the two bills they are exactly the same. They hand wrote "pre-authorization" on the statement. If someone would review the charges they can see that those charges wouldn't have been known until after they finished the cleaning. Also, Valle Verde Animal Hospital lied to me. They said that the office visit charge was listed in The Living Social ad, which it wasn't, and this was brought to the attention of Living Social. When I asked Valle Verde Animal Hospital again about the charge that wasn't included in the ad they said "it's understood". How could a charge be "understood" and for any random amount? Business' should not be allowed to get away with deceptive and deceitful practices. I wonder how honest they were about my dog's treatment. In a court of law if someone lies once everything they say after that is presumed to be a lie. Shame on them.

We took my 11 year old Beagle (Murphy) in after he stopped eating last Thursday. After test and x-rays showed he had a large mass growing on his liver, Dr. Murphy suggested surgery immediately to try to remove it. We agreed to bring him in Saturday morning as we wanted a last night with him to say goodbye as there was a very real possibility that he would need to be put down in surgery depending on what was discovered.
The surgery was complicated. The softball size mass was attached to his liver. They had to remove the mass, a portion of liver and the spleen. Dr. Murphy NEVER gave up on our dog. We brought him home Saturday night. It was a difficult evening as Murphy was very weak and in pain, but we made it through and Sunday morning he was able to get up and move around. A few short days later, he is doing truly amazing. I am now confident he will be back to himself in no time.
We cannot thank Dr. Murphy and staff for not giving up on our baby and allowing us this extra time with him. We just weren't quite ready to let go.
