They care very much about the animals they treat and have saved the life of two of our cats. They are not the cheapest maybe, but when I had two kittens hospitalized there, they did everything they could to minimize the cost. Love, love, love this place!!! Been going here for years with my mom's dogs and now I take my adopted puppy there too! They are amazing. I love them because they actually take the time to break down whats going on with your animal and explain whats wrong with them. The employees there are also always really nice and friendly. DR. ROBERSON is it really really wonderful veterinarian. She has a loving caring touch and compassion for humans as well. I love this Animal Hospital because I know that they care and that my pets will be treated very well. There Dental special between February and May is a great time to take pets in and when I took my Duke in there this February, the girls really worked very hard to return him fluffy and smelling wonderful. I've been taking my dogs here for years, never had a bad experience. Their fees are reasonable and staff is also super nice. If you have an anxious dog, like my Shepherd, then they will let you stay right in the room with you while they do the shots and check up. It helps a lot! Read Less

My cat died suddenly on the way to Green Valley Animal hospital. They walked me through the cremation process and took me in a back room and let me say my good bye and a doctor reassured me there was nothing they or I could have done to save him. I left in a daze but peaceful. Read Less

My only complaint is the vets change way to often, but we have been very lucky and in all the years we have been going there we have found some wonderful vets to take care of our fur babies. First Dr. Tawny, then Dr. Rose and now Dr. Kasparek. Dr. K is the only vet I trust my kitties with and we just love her. I've been going to GVAH for 6 yrs now. It was so much better when Dr Rose was there. Now they have a different vet every few months. You can't even see the same Dr or set an appointment. I used to go every month to get my dogs glands squeezed. Ears cleaned and nails trim. I did notice my dog had a lump for a few months now. But not one Dr said anything. When the lump started to bleed I took my dog in . Dr K saw her and she started squeezing it without even washing her hands. So she said she would do a needle aspiration.. after a few fours later she said it was a mass cell tumor.. I asked if that was cancer and she said "yes" rather coldly in my opinion.. she then just started rambling things about surgery and refer me to their oncologists.. I was devastated.. I did my own research. And researched mct. I practically know everything about it. After a month later the tumor has flattened with help of change of diet, supplements and hollistic approach and a lot of praying.. I don't even know if it was even a MCT. But it's practically gone now.. I will not be going back to GVAH again. On another note the Dr went through everything so fast and coldly she even forgot to tell me to give my dog Benadryl.. and never even mentioned that I should ween my dog off of steroids, and change of diet. She is now on all organic fresh fruits, vegetables and undercooked oraganic chicken. I had to research and study everything myself. What really bothered me was when I told Dr K, that my dog didn't act like she was sick.. The Dr said most dogs are fine pre-staging. Makes me feel like the surgery, conventional medicines will hurt my dog... But the receptionist there were all very nice**. Read Less

I followed Dr. Allison Roberson from Tropicana Animal Hospital to Green Valley Animal Hospital because of her exceptional care for all my dogs, but most especially for my one that has IVDD. Wonderful experience all around. Vet rooms were clean and well kept. prices are very reasonable and they are more than willing to let you just order medication from online pharmacy, than buy direct from them. Parking can be limited so go during non-busy hours. They don't make appointments for general stuff, its a walk-in basis usually, which can have you waiting for a bit. Would highly recommend ! We brought our puppy, Chicklet (a chihuahua) here about three weeks ago for her first set of vaccinations. Although Chicklet was 11 weeks old, she only weighed 1.8 pounds. That day, they clipped her nails for us and asked us to return in a couple of weeks, hoping she would put on some more weight. They did not charge us. Today, we brought her back, she was just under 3 pound and they were able to give Chicklet her first set of shots! Kudos to everyone at Green Valkey Animal Hospital! I can't say enough good things about this place. Not only do we have an exceptional veterinarian, but the staff is just as awesome. My puppy has some food allergies & Dr Wilken suggest I switch him to a fish based diet. Well, the food I chose I can only find online. I ordered it & they were out of stock & had to wait longer than expected to receive it so I went to 3 stores trying to find the food he's already on to hold him over til the new food comes. They have discontinued his food where I usually buy it & I couldn't find it anywhere. I called Green Valley Animal Hospital & asked if they sold it. They didn't have it in stick so they gave me some samples to hold him over until the new food comes. I'm so grateful to have a vet & staff that care as much about my pet as I do. You guys rock!! I have taken my Chihuahua to GVAH once before and it was fine. I saw an older vet (can't remember her name) and she was really great, no issues there. Recently I dropped off my Chi for a dental and brought my other senior dog for a wellness exam. I told the receptionists I THINK my old dog might be overdue for rabies. When I brought the dogs in to the exam room they took my old dog back for a weight check, where they went ahead and gave him a rabies shot without mentioning anything about it to me or inquiring about his vaccination history. Turns out it was 5 months early. The vet told me he had no vaccination history and then afterwards brings me copies of some of the older paperwork I brought them. The problem is that no one is transferring old records into the pets files. When I called to make the appt for the dental, they had not even put in her records from her last appointment. I had to remind them that she was already vaccinated and that it was done at THEIR facility. They were not apologetic about any of this and the front desk doesn't care.
