Thank you Legacy for getting my Yorkie in so quickly, I had to take her in because she has a cyst she would not stop licking and it ended up getting irritated and looked infected. I called at 8:30am and they made me an appointment for same day at 10:15am. I arrived and they got us back right away, examined Trinity and gave her an antibiotic shot. They had me out of the office in about 30 minuted which was awesome because I used my lunch break to take her. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The doctor was great at explaining what he was going to do and what I should do once we got home. I highly recommend Legacy for your fur babies. Read Less

I have been a customer of Legacy since 1994. One of the best things, besides the excellent veterinary attention my dogs have always received, is that they have after-hour service with a technician who ensures my hospitalized or boarded pets are safe. I am able to check in on them throughout the night and the pets are not as stressed as they would be if they were in a noisy environment all night. Jack- My pug Jack hurt his back and couldn't move his back end. The emergency vet recommended either $8000 for MRI and other tests or to put him down. I chose to go to Dr T the next day to put him down. But Dr T suggested I try a laser treatment on Jack. And here I am years later and Jack is curled up next to me... all thanks to Dr T and his amazing staff!Tank-My 12yr old Boston Terrier started to deteriorate. We frequented Legacy a couple times a week. Some of which Dr T never charged me for. The last week of Tank's life Dr T had me drop Tank off in the morning and pick him up after work just so he didn't have to be alone while I was at work. All because he and his employees came to love my Tank too. I am forever grateful for Dr T and his staff for the compassion they showed my going thru that.Nala-When Jack was at the emergency vet someone came in with a stray chihuahua. Needless to say i went home with my injured Pug AND a stray chihuahua lol. Dr T couldn't tell if she was fixed so he ran a blood test that said she was fixed. But then went into heat. I took her back and he ran another test (rather than perform surgery on a small dog that doesn't need it). Test still came back fixed. He called in a specialist to do a special scan that showed she was in tact. He spayed her and never charged me for it.Please don't take the few bad reviews and pass judgement. Would not trust ANYBODY else with my furbaby. Granted I am a little biased to the doctor but the care I have seen this man give to animals for over 30 years blows my mind. The EXTREMELY few bad reviews on here, I almost feel bad for the people posting them, because Dr, T is one of the most easy to talk too doctors you will ever come across. Do you know how many times he loses out on money as a result of care for the animal???? On the daily people. He does it for the animals not the money and that is OBVIOUS. If only you really knew how good of a doctor and a general surgeon this man is. Clients come in from ACROSS the country only because they want Dr. Muratore working on their loved ones, no body else, That should tell you something right there. I have watched this man sacrifice his body and time in the only honor of the helping better those who can't speak for themselves. We left after 5 yrs as patients of Pebble Maryland and came here. Much better. Dr. Muratore does NOT FORCE UP[ON YOU UNNECESSARY VACCINES, like Pebble Maryland. He also knows how to diagnose our dogs' med probs.  He doesn't need test upon test upon test to make a simple diagnosis, like Pebble Maryland Animal Hosp does.We've been taking our dogs there for a couple of years. Doctor T's bedside manner is VERY comforting. He is so good at his job, I can't figure how he does it all, day after day. He must be exhausted!Yesterday, one of my pups had to have a tooth removed. The dog cried audibly (his pain cry is different from his anxiety crying. Only a mother would know the difference. I know the difference). He was crying from the pain of the surgery. He was a wreck. Doc gave me pain pills for the dog and once they kicked in, he stopped crying. I placed a clean white sheet on my bed (he sleeps w me). We spent the evening watching TV. When he would move his position, I could see blood on the sheet. I looked into his mouth and he had blood on his teeth. I flipped out! I phoned the office and left a message. The amount of blood was not too much, but I was afraid he'd choke on it, since I could see the blood on his teeth. They WERE NOT COVERED IN BLOOD-if they were, I would have gone to the emergency vet instantly. In all, there were 5 blood stains on the bed, but by the time I finally could fall asleep, at 6:30am, his mouth was no longer bleeding. My b/f took over monitoring the dog while I slept and he felt the dog was fine. He is fine. I sent a 'contact us' email to the hospital explaining my fears and anxieties and they phoned us back. I called them back as soon as I awoke and spoke with Doctor T's wife, whose own bedside manner is even better than her husband's (thank you so much). Her kind, nurturing words really helped me get over the anxiety about the dog's tooth extraction-she and her husband are very compassionate. I was so upset and worried. So today, I taught these lovely people how to paint their pets without knowing that about 2 years ago, I brought in a baby baby Chihuahua that someone had left me, standing at their door. I didn't know what to do. So I took it home, and in the morning realized this little one needed help. I called Legacy and immediately they were willing to help. Hi I have so many good things to say about Dr. T!! Very good with my dogs! I feel he listens and try's to make the dogs feel as comfortable as possible. All four of my chihuahua see him. Dr. Terry is absolutely amazing. Hes friendly and personable and legitimately cares about the well being of the furbabies he works with. The staff are very sweet as well. Being from the east coast, we had no idea where to go when my 11 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound started having issues, and we couldnt be happier with Legacy. Staff is friendly and attentive, office is convenient and lovely. But Dr. Muratore is the crowning glory and one of the best vets I have ever met. I'm a volunteer for a local animal rescue and have experience with many of the vets and hospitals in the valley. He is never rushed; answers questions thoroughly and honestly. We moved from another state and had to find a new veterinarian for my pets. I am extremely protective over my pets like I am with my kids and giving someone 4 stars is rare. I am thankful for the positive experience my dog Brady had with the staff. He is very anxious when he is in a new surrounding but the entire staff was kind enough interact with him on the same level we do at home instead of ignoring him. My sweet cat Lila had an emergency visit. I called Legacy, as I was referred to them by a family member. They saw her immediately, and worked quickly to save her life. After test results came back, they helped me make one if the most difficult decisions a pet owner will face.
