The customer service here is terrible. I have been using them for over a year now, but after my last experience with boarding my two dogs here, I will never use them again. I have one dog with diabetes and Cushing disease, and the other has separation anxiety. I brought everything they would need for a comfortable stay. I was gone for 5 nights, with I went to pick them it took over 30 mintues for the front dest to bring them out to us. Both dogs were super skinny, and yet the 4 pound bag of food was gone, plus 2 full cans of wet. My diabetic dog was very sick, the vet tried making me purchase 2 different meds to get her, I refused. The toys I had brought for them were never given to them (the tags were still on them) I paid the $400 for the boarding (way over priced and even when explained didn't seem fair) and took them home. Im happy to say I nursed my sick dog back to health on my own, and both are now back to their normal weight. Read Less

This place is close and convenient, but extremely greedy.  The prices are way out of line with the rest of the town, and they try to sucker you out of every penny.  I just got called away for the weekend, and need to drop dog off overnight.   All shots are current, but they expire at the end of the month.  The overnight will be for the 1st.  They want to do an exam, shots, fecal exam....in other words $150-$200 with the boarding because "its the same month as her due date"  Run from this place unless you have no other options. Dr. Jonas has been taking care of my animals and I couldn't ask for a better doctor. He never rushes the appointment, always does a thorough exam, and is sympathetic to financial constraints. Alina is my favorite technician. She always follows up with me to ask me how my dog is doing and is more than willing to answer any questions I have. The reception staff has always been nice to me (especially when I'm booking last minute appointments). There's a reason this place is always busy! Read Less

This was my first real experience with a vet, and I'm glad a chose this one. I had taken my new kitten to get his first round of shots at the spay and neuter place on Flamingo, but it was pretty chaotic there, with long wait times and a crowded waiting area full of barking dogs, so when it came time for him to be neutered and have his next round of shots, I brought him here instead. I made the appointment in person, since the place is right by my bank and I was there anyway. Thought I might as well check it out before committing to an appointment. The waiting area was calm and clean, and the receptionist was super friendly and got me set up with an appointment for a couple days later.On the day of the procedure, everything went smoothly. Dropping him off and picking him up was quick and easy, never had to wait more than five minutes. There was a slight mix up at the reception desk when I arrived to pick him up, but that was due to the fact that the receptionist was brand new, so I can't hold that against them. Everyone was friendly and professional, and the doctor was patient and thorough in explaining the recovery process, including showing me how to administer the medicine, and explaining what potential problems to watch out for. The following day they called to see how he was doing, and I was happy to report that he was already back to his normal self, no problems whatsoever. I like this vet office quite well! They are open 7 days a week for vet services and boarding! We have brought Bruno for boarding and every time they call the next day to see how he is doing. They have an outdoor bathroom area, which I think makes it much better than the very pricy Henderson Pet Resort across the street. They seem to care and aren't annoyed by animals or people. The only thing I could give a tiny complaint about is that the front desk is sometimes slow, but I would take slow and kind over quick and rude any day! We also have seen the vet and they were good! Great place to take your animal. It is a little bit pricy, but you will get a level of service that I have yet to see from a vet. Dr. Jonas is awesome. He checked on my dog's lab results on one of his days off and called me from home to let me know what they were and some possible courses of action. The lady that works the front desk and all of the nurses that I have interacted with have been super nice and professional. Nothing but good things to say about them. Luckily (knock wood) we usually don't have to come here for more than shots. They always send us a reminder. We are able to get convenient weekend appointments. The doctors and staff are always very nice and patient with our pup, who has a fear of the vet (because of the whole rectal temperature thing. Can you blame him? LOL). A lot of times they skip the temperature altogether because of how apprehensive my dog is, and I wonder if maybe they should be more thorough, but maybe it's just not that important. It's very close to home and the prices seem comparable to another vet we've been to in the area (only switched because we moved closer to this one). Read Less

I have a toy poodle that ripped his toenail off today. It was bleeding badly so I Found this clinic on the Internet. After having bad experiences at other animal hospitals I was apprehensive to say the least. When I called, the receptionist was very sweet and got me in right away to see the doctor. When I arrived the entire staff was professional and compassionate. The way they treated my puppy was better than most doctors treat their human patients. My wife called several other veterinarian clinics before calling Stephanie Animal Hospital. What I was charged here was a little less  with excellent service. Dr. Jonas is a wonderful vet, truly caring. I had a really sick dog with a rare disease and he worked with us to get a specialist to help. When the dog was doing poorly he said to bring him in and call on the way to the office. I felt my dog was in great hands. The staff is great too and very thoughtful. They always follow up with a phone call in a day or two to make sure everything is okay with the dog. I recommend them to all my friends. Read Less

Wanted to ease my kitty cat Figaros trip to get shots so picked this hospital due to it being across the street. Staff was very kind and friendly. There was a $25 office fee but didnt mind because staff was great and doc was outstanding! Figaro did great and has all his shots now he can go back outside after being in for a few days. This guy is a hack. They perform declawings here. Disgusting. I was obviously concerned about my cat, and all this guy did was take a blood sample. Didn't even take her blood pressure, or check the whites of her eyes. Obviously unqualified to be giving advice. In fact, had no advice what so ever, and my cat is still sick.Read Less

I have used this facility for several years. They have never let me or my "kids" down. They have taken such good care of them. I have had several furry babies over the years. Somehow 15+ years ago I was fortunate enough to find an awesome veterinarian named Dr. Jonas. He had an amazing vet tech, Alina who was always very knowledgable and empathetic towards us as well as their patients. A few years ago Dr. Jonas moved to a different clinic and I, along with my furry babies, followed him there. We were extremely pleased that his former vet tech now worked with him at Stephanie Animal Hospital as well. That was a huge relief! Dr. Jonas and Alina have always given us top notch service with a compassionate heart. My MamaCat, who was 14 years old, passed away 2 years ago. It was a highly difficult situation for me to cope with, but Alina somehow made MamaCat's passed and cremation process less stressful for our family. We received sympathy cards, one from Stephanie Animal Hospital and another from Alina, personally, along with flowers delivered to our home. This past July I decided it was time to adopt a new kitten and Alina was very eager to help our family adopt a new baby. I have mixed feelings about this place. I think prices are reasonable but they need to work on their costumer service attention. The staff including the doctors are sometimes rude and they don't spend the time they should checking our pets and really understanding what's the reason for why you are bringing them to the vet. It takes forever to see the doctor as well as making an appointment! I guess overall an okay place if all you need is a quick checkup or annual shots! Read Less

I moved to Henderson, NV 3 yrs ago & needed to find a place I loved to board my dogs due to my travel schedule. I immediately found this place & loved it especially Dr Kysha Britford-Moore. She was the only vet I wanted to treat my animals. She was knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, all the things you would want in a vet. I recently lost my Sheltie & she was so amazing to me. Pros:Super close to homeEasy to get appointments for DolceStaff is friendly$15 for a nail trim - yes, it's pricier than many other places but they do a really good job.  They don't just clipped Dolce's nails, but they also file it so there are no sharp edges.  With Dolce, she is a 64lb dog that loves to jump on people, so this makes it less painful.Cons:Dr. has to reference his really ancient hard cover book to look up Dolce's breed, when asked about whether she could sunbathe once in a while.Resident cat tried to claw Dolce when all Dolce did was greet her. Moved to henderson needed a local vet for small things locally. Should have stayed at centennial (where I will be going back to) I took my dog in for 2 vaccines and anal gland expression. I walked out spending $75 that's crazy expensive. They charged me for an office visit/well check.  I didn't schedule that. Place is a rip off not to mention the vet I saw was a bit short with me. I had been seeing another local vet with my last cat, but since putting him down I have adopted another cat and decided I did not really like the vet I had been going to, plus the memories were too much. So a friend recommended this place, and I am very happy with them so far. The girls at the desk are very friendly and nice, and there is never much of a wait (my last vet would take forever to see you, even with an appt.). Update as of 8/13-took my dogs for boarding for the day. Lady @ front (curly mullet/obese ) was very rude and unprofessional. And slow! Also- The girl that came out to take my dogs for boarding was so quiet & looked afraid of people & dogs, Not warm & reassuring the way someone That handles animals should appear. She Just came out & Stood in front of me , not uttering  a word. After a few seconds she reached her hand out for myleashes, so socially awkward. I felt like I was in a Woody Allen /Tim Burton movie. These people are creepy and not cool. I'm done w this place..Clean and nice facility ,good for minor services for your furry babies ( nail trim, grooming etc). Can't recommend Stephanie Animal Hospital enough.  We have an older husky who is about 13.  They are great with him.  We use their vet services as well as boarding and grooming.  The boarding is a great value, I believe it's about $20 a day, and he is well taken care of.  Another plus, the last time we had him boarded, we had a check up done and had him groomed as well.  This cut down on future visits, which is great because we have the rare dog that doesn't like car rides.  You will get excellent service and can rest assured your pets are in great hands. I am not one to write reviews for businesses, but I went through these pages looking for a good Veterinarian in the past, and hope to save someone from the plight I endured. I will tell my story below, but if you are looking for a quick synopsis, .... set an appointment with Dr. Heather Groghan. I promise you that she will 1) listen to you (the only vet in Nevada that I found that does listen) 2) Will give you a feeling that your best friend is in good hands. 3) Not try to 'sell' you anything you don't need, but will tell you exactly like it is. 4) Provide you with real care, and at affordable prices. I have had an unfortunate run of luck with my buddy 'Willie' over the last year. He has had a bout with Giardia (loose stools), respiratory issues, and now allergies/foreign objects embedded in his paw. To make matters worse, I went through the near impossible challenge of finding a decent Veterinarian that won't drain the little money that I have. I bounced around the Veternarian 'circut' in Henderson/Las Vegas first looking for the cheapest prices (only to have to set another appointment with another Vet due to no results from the 'cheap ones'). I firmly believe that my having to go to 'repeat visits' for the same issue was simply because the Vets I seen simply did not listen to me, or even act like they were listening. It is almost as if they would give me 15 words before they decide on an action to take. Who you go to is your decision, but I can assure you that if you go to S.A.H. and see Dr. Grogan, you will get fair, caring, highly skilled, and professional care that I am not entirely sure is available to us anywhere else in the Valley. I took Kiu there because his face was swelling. The pulled 2 teeth that were cracked and charged me 800$. His face continued to get worse so I took him to Spencer Springs Animal Hospital and Dr Costa had to perform surgery on him to remove a part of the tooth that they had left in and clean out the horrible abscess. She had to go from the inside and the outside of his face to repair the damage. They only charged me 215$ for all the work that they did and never charged me an office visit charge for all the follow-ups. Read Less

The doctors and staff were so very caring in treating my cat. Cheerful and professional, and yet, so understanding. This is the very best facility I have used in my 60+ years! Open 7 days for all of my emergencies, they have treated several of my animals and ALWAYS been consistent in their care of my pets, plus my own emotional state. PLEASE USE THEM!
