I have 2 dogs that I have been bringing here for about 5 months, since my puppy was 8 weeks old. They’ve both received all of their shots here and everybody has always been so helpful and kind. Until today. I called this morning to ask some questions about my puppies swollen eye. Deedee answered very snappy and rude right off the bat. She asked me to spell my last name which I did. And her response was “I said last name.” Which in return I replied respectfully with “that is my last name.” She goes on to tell me that she can’t find my name. I tell her I’m in there, I’ve been going there for months. She then insists in a very rude manner that I am not in their system. I tell her that she’s coming off as very rude and disrespectful and ask to please speak with someone else. I’m put on hold and then Deedee comes back on the phone to tell me “I found your information, it was somewhere I wasn’t looking. Now what can I help you with.” But with no apology and still in a rude tone. I then politely ask to please speak to someone else, again.. The next lady to help me was extremely nice and helpful. I then came in with my puppy about 20 minutes later, and DeeDee was helping a lady at the front desk with the same rude tone as she had with me, telling her she can’t find her information in the system. Yikes! Maybe get this lady some training on using a computer, and/or spelling, and most importantly being kind to customers. We can all tell how miserable you are and it’s not okay to bring it into the work place. Although, Dr Wallace and the rest of the staff are awesome. ❤️

Amazing!!! I can't say enough kind words about Dr. Walters she didn't care about the money she cared about making my puppy better! I bought a puppy and only had him for a week and a half he became unable to walk, stand, or make controlled movements! They did everything they could and my puppy Milo is well on his way to recovery! I am so thankful!!

I have owned many animals and have taken my pets to see different veteranians in Las Vegas and I have taken my cat in the past and my dog today to the black mountain location and the veteranians here are very gentle they show empathy and are gentle, caring and loving towards your pet. The pricing is reasonable and they don’t just do unnecessary extra tests to get your money. Very happy with my visits and I highly recommend this location for your pets care. Thank you

The staff is so rude. The animals are kept in small kennels and only taken out once. No wonder they are all sick. For the cost of adoption the animals should be in better conditions.

We have lived here 9 months. VCA Animal hospital has served our dog well. She is older so we had more issues than just a healthy check up and shots. Our pet was almost 15 years old and arthritis ridden and had a stroke last weekend. They were extremely compassionate and helpful with this process for not only our pet but for my husband and me too. I am thankful for all the staff there and when I adopt another pet the will be my first choice. Unfortunately we has to euthanize our pet
This was so difficult and I am very thankful for the staff who helped us.

I didnt have any money to pay for his surgery. They are letting me make payments. This is the best vet hospital I've ever been. The staff is outstanding and the dr are the best espically Dr. Randy Winn., DVM. I love this place.

Thank god my dog is not dying because these people dont want to give call back

They are nice here, but i think somebody should know beforehand if/how much they are going to be charged because if you aren't aware what are you gunna have to do? Youre fucked. Thats why i gave them 2 stars but the people are kind and good w your animals just don't like being charged things when you werent aware prior, of so.

This is the best veterinarian office I have ever been to dr. Winn is best doctor I have ever had for my animals. his knowledge kindness and compassion are a 10 star rating he has saved my dog's life now twice once from cancer he did exploratory surgery.I could go on and on but exploratory surgery pretty much says it all for a vet. he found cancer removed 3 tumors, He gave me 4 more years. now we are dealing with heart & kidneys, my little one is old. he is trying without her suffering, and a word about staff they are just great all of them. once my daughter's dog got loose in the parking lot the whole staff was outside trying to get her so. if they're a little busy it's because there's an emergency with an animal. but they have slow times too, call ahead that's what I do. Thank you VCA staff. And Thank you Dr. Winn for every year I have more with my best freind.

I'm seriously considering switching vets. I've been coming here since my dog was a puppy, but I feel like with every visit to this place, people care less about me and my dog. The time in the waiting room is ridiculously long, and after being called into the room there is an additional ridiculously long waiting time before a doctor comes in.
The doctor never explains anything to me, and barely takes any time for the exam. It takes me 20-30 minutes to get to this place, the least they could do is pretend they care about my dog. We actually only going here because the very first vet visit was free and I thought it would be best to stay with the same vet while she is growing up, but I never see the same doctor so it doesn't even matter.
Also, if you dare to call and ask a question, you will get an incredible rude response back from whoever works the front desk. All I was asking was if they carried Interceptor. No reason to be rude and hang up on me.

I brought my dog in and we warned the staff that she was very skiddish and to let my mother and I handle her. The vet kept insisting on reaching for her over her head and over me. This freaked my dog out and went in attack mode because she is very protective. My dog ended up hurting herself, the dr. Asked me to put my dog on the table and I proceed to do so. Before I have her on the table he reaches for her, she gets scared and is clawing me to get away from him and leaps over my shoulder landing into the door and fell to the floor. She had a little blood spot on her head. Never again will I go to this vets office. They did not listen to us when we told them to take it slow instead they immediately started reaching for her over her head and over my shoulder. Not okay.

My little Shitzu/Poodle was brutally attacked by a Jack Russel Terrior and almost killed. He was in extreme shock when I got him to Dr Winn. Although I was on a limited budget, Dr Winn kept him there for 4 days on intravenous fluids and did therapy with him. My dog suffered a spinal injury but with the fantastic care given while there and meds and instructions from Dr Winn my dog has started to walk again. I believe he will have a full recovery. Thank you to everyone for saving my dog's life.

Deplorable grooming service. I spoke with Donna on several occasions to explain the lack of care my new-to-me, 15 year old Poo-Chon had before I adopted him in May. I wanted to be part of his grooming to explain the skin condition concerns and prepare her for problems. When I took him to her this morning, she grabbed a clipper, tore through his hair to skin level, saying 'this is how we do it'. Well not on my dog you don't. She told me she had been doing it a long time. Personally, I think she needs a new career and I will continue to make sure she changes her procedures on animals.

We have lived here 9 months. VCA Animal hospital has served our dog well. She is older so we had more issues than just a healthy check up and shots. Our pet was almost 15 years old and arthritis ridden and had a stroke last weekend. They were extremely compassionate and helpful with this process for not only our pet but for my husband and me too. I am thankful for all the staff there and when I adopt another pet the will be my first choice. Unfortunately we has to euthanize our pet
This was so difficult and I am very thankful for the staff who helped us.

Also, if you dare to call and ask a question, you will get an incredible rude response back from whoever works the front desk. All I was asking was if they carried Interceptor. No reason to be rude and hang up on me.

I brought my dog in and we warned the staff that she was very skiddish and to let my mother and I handle her. The vet kept insisting on reaching for her over her head and over me. This freaked my dog out and went in attack mode because she is very protective. My dog ended up hurting herself, the dr. Asked me to put my dog on the table and I proceed to do so. Before I have her on the table he reaches for her, she gets scared and is clawing me to get away from him and leaps over my shoulder landing into the door and fell to the floor. She had a little blood spot on her head. Never again will I go to this vets office. They did not listen to us when we told them to take it slow instead they immediately started reaching for her over her head and over my shoulder. Not okay.

We were in and out in no time. The doctor instantly found out what was wrong with my cat and had a great price. Highly recommended and I'm definitely coming back with all my pet needs. They really know what they are doing and the environment couldn't be more animal friendly.

My little Shitzu/Poodle was brutally attacked by a Jack Russel Terrior and almost killed. He was in extreme shock when I got him to Dr Winn. Although I was on a limited budget, Dr Winn kept him there for 4 days on intravenous fluids and did therapy with him. My dog suffered a spinal injury but with the fantastic care given while there and meds and instructions from Dr Winn my dog has started to walk again. I believe he will have a full recovery. Thank you to everyone for saving my dog's life.

Deplorable grooming service. I spoke with Donna on several occasions to explain the lack of care my new-to-me, 15 year old Poo-Chon had before I adopted him in May. I wanted to be part of his grooming to explain the skin condition concerns and prepare her for problems. When I took him to her this morning, she grabbed a clipper, tore through his hair to skin level, saying 'this is how we do it'. Well not on my dog you don't. She told me she had been doing it a long time. Personally, I think she needs a new career and I will continue to make sure she changes her procedures on animals.
