Incline Veterinary Hospital

Incline Village, Nevada
General Info
Incline Veterinary Hospital in Incline Village transforms each pet visit into a complex spatial dialogue. The positioning of animals in Nevada extends beyond simple standing to include their complex angular movements and spatial orientations around care. Direct approaches to pets occur only when explicit invitation is given. Instead, staff adjust directionality—through soft curves combined with slight sideways movements and diagonal body angles. This decreases startle reflex while developing orientation trust. Caregivers occupy strategic positions—commonly seated at right angles—which enables animals to establish a triangular relationship between comfort zones and medical presence. Before tools emerge into view, observers note the preliminary stages of blink rates alongside paw arcs and balance shifts. Incline Veterinary Hospital delivers services including imaging techniques alongside early detection methods for chronic conditions while managing cardio screening and gastrointestinal alignment within age-specific care protocols. Access tolerance sequences services through unnatural mechanisms. Certain animals initiate flank touch before engaging frontally. People react more effectively when instruments are initially positioned on the ground before usage. Discharge routines introduce re-orientation techniques which teach pet owners how to lead their pets using a calm zigzag motion while walking out and show them what angles to use for home bandage inspection as well as where to arrange bedding to avoid corner-trapping during recovery. Implementing these tips diminishes flight behaviors while restoring spatial security when pets return to familiar environments. Incline Veterinary Hospital weaves its care into the unique zones and subtle pauses that animals recognize across every Nevada neighborhood from Incline Village, transforming treatment from disruption to welcome invitation.

I have taken in my old, arthritic black lab in twice now and each time that I have visited, the staff has been very welcoming and personable. They provide me with in-depth explanations and insight for my own resources and go well out of their way to make my dog comfortable while he is there. Unlike other vets that I have visited in the past, they are very good about not pushing certain procedures or diagnostic tactics on us and provide you with "minimalist" guidelines to follow, with the more expensive procedures as last resorts. Most vets usually jump in and try to sell you on the most invasive procedures, so this is much appreciated in my family! They are always very frank in their diagnoses and always provide my dog with the utmost care. Would highly recommend this place! Read Less

We really like Dr. Mojer, but my poor pup has to wait six days to see her.. And it's for a possible infection.  Guess we will find a doctor in Reno.  Very disappointed..

Been meaning to write this for awhile. Last June our 10 year old Sammi met her digestive match (unbeknownst to us) in the form of one stuffed toy pickle. She was very sick, diarrhea, vomiting, etc...Dr Moger, Dusty and the rest of the staff were incredible. When xrays were inconclusive the good Dr sent us to Baring Blvd Pet Hospital for an ultrasound. She offered her services later that night if surgery was indeed necessary but assured us that if surgery was imminent to definitely go ahead and get it down there...very accommodating.  Ultrasound confirmed the blockage and the pickle was indeed removed that afternoon at Baring.  Dr Moger called to check on our Sammi and offered her services to remove the staples when needed...which we did.No charge even though the surgery was performed elsewhere.  Class act...love these guys!  Thanks all.. This place is a big disappointment and was in better hands before Dr. Lane retired. The new vet did not know the most effective treatment for my dog's recurring ear problems until a vet in Truckee made the recommendation while visiting. Average wait time was close to a half an hour during what were biweekly appointments, which I have never experienced over many years with several vets. We will drive out of IV for better capabilities from now on. Read Less
