No sense of urgency. The Vet I dealt with, Dr Misraji, wasted all this precious time while bombarding me with irrelevant medical jargon. It was an emergency situation, Im sobbing my eyes out, and she is slowly, painfully, bleeding out each sentence as if she's trying to explain algebra to a child or teach a knitting class. I was dying for quick answers and straightforward talk, and she kept talking in slow rambling, painful, long circles with huge medical explanations, like she was giving a report in school. I seriously almost wondered if she wanted my dog to die while she talked and talked. I was so frustrated. The staff made no eye contact and were not kind. The bill was totally outrageous beyond words- $415 for honestly, basically nothing except a simple look inside my dog's throat and an hour of talking. I paid $300 for X-rays that didn't even show up on the disc they gave me, and she didn't even explain or show them. I was in too much of a hurry to care. I went straight to another emergency vet afterwards, all the way across town! To tropicana and durango- and got the help I needed, a diagnosis, two take home prescriptions, simple, straightforward, to the point, quick talk with a real sense of urgency, and all at 25% the cost of this place. One star because at least they are open during emergency hours and it's better than nothing hopefully for more simple emergencies (?) and there are probably other vets there that speak clearly, quickly, and in simple terms to distraught pet owners.
