Their service is only good if you just expect very basic, minimal routine vaccinations. Most of what they described and included in their so called annual(semi-annual) exam are omitted & not done. All they care is encourage you to get preventive service such as teeth cleaning, getting their brand of supplies for easy drawing revenue to credit the vet's time but the Vets don't really care or affectionated about the pet or the pet's situation or need. I used different states's Banfield service & found the same across the board. Besides, most of the vets work for Banfield are very inexperience & young only going by the book or rule set by the company. If your pet really need attentive & concern medical service or hvg a life saving situation, be sure NOT to go there!!!!! ... unless you don't care your pet suffer or dead. Especially one Las Vagas location where the Receptionist acts if she works in a high government institute with an altitude "by the rule". You can see how many bad reviews abt the poor quality of their service is a sign. I thought I gave it more un-bias trial but had enough. Read Less

We've experienced on a couple of occasions the vet over reacting and initially telling us that because of the symptoms we describe they want to do a number of tests and keep our puppies over night. After continued conversation he changes his mind and tells us to just watch our dogs for different symptoms. The rest of the staff is friendly and has good interaction with our dogs. The vets constantly try to sell you different up sells which can be confusing because it leaves you as the consumer trying to figure out what your pet really needs and what they're just trying to get out of you. If it wasn't for the friendliness of the staff this would definitely be a 2 star rating.Read Less

All the staff here are wonderful! I followed Dr. Sultan from the Charleston Banfield to here. She is a FANTASTIC doctor. She has been seeing my dogs for the past 3 plus years. One of my dogs had a lot of health issues. First, they thought he had two massive tumors inside of him but it turns out that he was never neutered. We only thought he was since the shelter I got him from didn't know. We ended up having him neutered at the ripe old age of 9ish (don't know his real age since he was a stray). Then the real tumors came. He developed two tumors which were surgically removed by Dr. Sultan. Sadly they grew back and he was referred to the Las Vegas Specialty Center to see the oncology department. He went through two different chemo and that didn't work. Sadly, he had to be put down because the tumors grew rapidly. I have never gone through the process of having a pet put down but one of the receptionist kindly and gently walked me through the process when I scheduled the appointment. When the day came, the receptionist knew right away who we were. I signed the necessary consents and was brought in right away. It was very seamless. A nice vet tech came into the room to begin the hard part. Obviously I had been crying but she was careful with her words to not agitate my fragile emotional state. She asked the hard questions about what I would like to do with my four legged best friend once all is done. She took my dog to the back to put the IV in. As she was leaving the room, she began to cry. Oddly enough this made me happy knowing that she had empathy for my situation. It wasn't just another day on the job for her. Dr. Sultan came in to administer the shots. I couldn't be in the room but she let me know when it was all done. You can easily tell that she had been crying too. I don't know if the team or even the corporation pays attention to these reviews but I would like personally thank the vet tech that helped me that day. I apologize for not remembering your name but you were very sweet. Thank you Dr. Sultan from the bottom of my heart for all you had done for my little old man. You will still see me and the little princess who like to bark alot. It makes it so much easier to deal with ailing pets when you have a team that actually cares about the pets. Even though I followed Dr. Sultan to this location, there is also another doctor named Dr. Graviet. She is very nice too. Now i have only spoken to her once or twice when Dr. Sultan was out of the office but Dr. Graviet was still very helpful and kind. My only complaint would be that the front desk needs to have one more person at least during peak hours. I feel bad when the phones are going off like crazy and there is a line of people waiting to check in and out. Read Less

I came here because a patient of mine is a vet that is on-call for Banfield. He helped my pup and took care of things. He no longer works at this location, however, I continue to return here because all the doctors and vet techs really look to help.Be sure to schedule an appointment as drop-ins are welcomed but always seem to have to wait long periods of time, and if you do schedule an appointment, do not be LATE! They run on a schedule and late can cause you're pet to be Rescheduled. As with all vets (medical doctors) they do the best to treat and help your pet but sometimes they need more diagnostic tests to determine the best treatement. In my experience here I do get offered the top of the line tests/labs which can cost a lot so be mindful of your budget to help your pet. The staff has always been nice and ontime in my experience. The other vet docs I have seen on 2 different times all seem knowledgable and straight to the point. At the time my pet was sick I purchased a coverage plan (not insurance) which helps with costs of services and discounts on proceedures and medications. Overall, this location has been good in my experience, just schedule your appointment people, its so much easier. Read Less

I came in for an exam and vaccines with my newly adopted French Bulldog. I showed up really early for my appointment on a weekend and they fit me in anyway. I hardly waited either AND I was a brand new patient so they had to do all that new patient prep like making a chart, putting me into their system, having me complete the paper work Etc. Everything went seamlessly from making the appointment to checking out. The tech, Mandy, was so great, confident, knowledgable and professional. She explained my options and pricing which I really appreciated. I like that I got to know what the cost of the visit was going to be before the doctor even came in the room. The doctor, Dr Coeling, was very thorough with his exam and gave my dog , Tank, his vaccines. I paid and was on my way with 72 hours to consider of I wanted to partake in their yearly financial plan or not. I was quoted $32 per month for a full year of unlimited office visits, all his vaccines, flea/tick preventative, etc. basically everything to keep him healthy. I thought that was pretty reasonable.  I was really happy and Tank seemed to be as well. Read Less

I will never take my dog to this place EVER! They didn't give me NO Informative information regarding my dogs ear infection, just took a sample didn't check him at all, I was letting them know other things that was wrong with him, and of course they didn't even care to check. I spent over 100 in over the counter medication that they put a label on that didn't work. They didn't even explain to me how to give the medication to my dog in his ear, after the doc. Promised she'd do so. Man this place is a joke, and a total big rip-off. I called the next day after my dog was seen and let them know that my dog has been gasping for air, to where he might need to go to a pet hospital, they didn't have one bit of care. They wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars.. Talking about just dropping him off? I actually "LOL'D" .. In disbelief. Saying they had to run test in some crazy stuff. Basically ALL LIES! They are crazy to think ill ever bring my baby back to them .. I took my dog to VCA pet hospital off of spring mountain and the doc Dr. Knighton was thee' coolest, he checked my dog so throughly and also we paid to get him antibiotic shots which he needed the whole time. Banfield rushed thru my dogs visit literally like 3 mins. Now since I went to VCA its been almost a week and my dog hasn't had any of the troubles that he was experiencing( and his ear infection is almost done clearing) before with the medication Banfield offered opposed to the medication he received from VCA Pet hospital. Next time Banfield off of Arroyo crossing , take your time with ppl's pets. You guys are very much Trash in my book, and I will never ever trust BANFIELD ever again, almost critically damaged my dog. Ps: I swear I wish I could rate you -1, But 1 star is all google offer. Read Less

Read Less
