Caring Hands Animal Hospital

Las Vegas, Nevada
General Info
Caring Hands Animal Hospital initiates care through the pet’s comfort window which provides phased diagnostics and noise-conscious treatment timing for Nevada homes. The initiation of the intake process does not begin through the completion of documents. Staff members watch the animal's entrance to note any hesitation, circling behavior, vocalizations, or weight anchoring at the doorway. The medical facility monitors patient reactions to determine whether to implement a slow approach, quiet staging, or quick triage based on stress levels. The examination process includes assessments of balance stability, ear tension, skin temperature, hydration levels, fur texture, oral response patterns, breath rhythm, and handling resistance. Veterinary diagnostics rely on owner reports where sleeping positions and seasonal behavior changes intersect with appetite shifts and recent avoidance patterns to direct medical inquiries. Caring Hands Animal Hospital delivers an extensive array of services including wellness checks urgent care geriatric mapping weight stabilization plans and pain indexing. Services can be fragmented into several visits for pets that perform optimally in brief periods. Certain individuals find advantage through entire-day staggered management sessions which include interspersed break periods. This model enables families to prevent retraumatization experiences for noise-sensitive animals as well as those recovering from surgery or having past fearful behaviors. Post-visit planning involves intricate body-language manuals and emotional response scales for patients to track their progress at home. The post-care decompression period requires owners to modify their communication methods as well as their schedules and daily activities. The scheduling of follow-ups depends on an individual's behavioral readiness instead of fixed timelines. Caring Hands Animal Hospital delivers to Las Vegas and surrounding Nevada pet families a veterinary rhythm that promotes physical healing alongside emotional self-regulation while maintaining clinical precision.

Armando Martinez performed a barium test on our dog. Instead of administering the barium into the digestive tract, he put it into his lungs. To cover his ass, he said our dog was to blame because he wouldn't cooperate. He claimed to have extracted "most" of the barium and sent him home. Five hours later he had to be put down at VE+CC because of barium toxicity - he basically was suffocating to death. The barium had poisoned his lungs. X Rays taken at at VE+CC showed LARGE amounts of barium in his lungs that could not have been accidentally inhaled. Armando Martinez and his staff do NOT know what they're doing. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOUR PET. Avoid "Caring Hands" and Armando Martinez at all costs. Definitely following up with the Nevada State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Armando Martinez should not be able to do this to someone else's pet. Read Less

I took my dog here for boarding for a week while I was out of town. I spent over 250 dollars at this place between the required vaccinations and the kennel costs. When I picked up my dog she was covered from head to toe in feces, was infested with fleas, had vomiting and diarrhea she wouldn't eat for 4 days, and later got some form of eye infection from feces in her eye. I called and spoke with one of the workers here and he denied the presence of fleas in the kennel and denied that there was any problems with the dog during the stay. mind you this same worker was the one who handed me my feces covered dog when i picked her up. the only attempt at remedying the situation was an offer of a free bath and examination, that is too little too late. If your animal is sick DO NOT bring them to Caring Hands!  I brought my 6 year old lab in because she ate a baseball hat, vomited hat pieces, quit eating and was told she had no obstruction and her liver was the issue.  Unfortunately we trusted the doctor and allowed him to just give our baby IV fluids and anti nausea shots for 3 days before taking her somewhere else.  Thank God we did because by that time she was extremely sick and they had to remove 1.5 feet of her small intestine because there was a stuck hat like we had originally told them.  Had he treated her correctly from the start it would have been a simple surgery.  We spent over $1000.00 at Caring Hands during this time and gave Dr. Martinez the opportunity to refund us and make it right, but he chose to lie and claim he told us from the start that she needed surgery.  I will definitely be filing a complaint with the State Veterinary Board ASAP! First time here & I will definitely be switching to this vet full time for all three of my dogs. I called this morning as my boxers eye was swollen & had been for a few days I kept an eye and it wasn't getting worse or better but I needed to take him so they got me in 2 hours after I called. Gave me antibiotics for babies eye and seemed to really care about my questions and concerns which set my mind at ease considering I had a bad experience with a previous office in Vegas & had been on the hunt for new vets who care. My boxer is 11 years old and him & I both don't trust many vets. He loved this vet and his assistant he let them take temperature put eye medicine in and got super close to his face. I can not say enough about the personalization and dedication of the entire staff. It's not very often that the very Doctor performing the procedure graces you with a personal post consultation. Very refreshing! This is the ONLY vet in Vegas that would give me a rough estimate, over the phone on the cost of the procedure. All others required bringing the pet in for assessment.(which of course means paying for just an office visit.) I would like to thank the staff for struggling to stay within my financial means, as well. This new customer from yesterday became a satisfied customer of today! Thank You So Much, Guys! Read Less

I brought my dog here when he started having seizures. They did all kinds of expensive tests and prescribed an anticonvulsant. I came the next day to pick it up and was told to come in for an explanation of how to use it, only to realize that they decided to charge me after they said they wouldn't. Not only was that frustrating but a few days into the medication his seizures got worse and he was starting to bloat. After a week or so of him going downhill, we decided to take him off the medication as it was doing more harm than good. At this point his seizures had stopped and we thought that he was going to get better. After about a month of continuous weight gain and lethargy, he passed away. When the mortician came to pick up his cadaver he had informed us that the dosage that he was receiving was way too high, in turn causing his bloat which ultimately led to his death. I am very disappointed in the hospital director Armando Martinez who put us through such a traumatizing event. Please don't let your dogs be seen by this man. He is an ignorant cheat. Read Less

Read Less

I am very thankful for Dr Armando Martinez for successfully curing my pet "Raw". I had taken my pet to 3 other veterinarians prior and only receveid medications but no treatment.
