We've always trusted Dr. Pribyl, Dr. Fujikawa, and most recently Dr. Dawsey. Dr. Pribyl is our primary vet, and has always proven that he knows more than our previous vets, and is this completely trustworthy. He told us recently he's been practicing for 38 years, and that becomes clear when you see him. The bird doctor Figikawa took blood from our little Blue today at 11:00 am did not tell us how stressed she would be. We took her back and she told us that what we were seeing was normal. Just to keep her warm with her food. So sad to say that we lost our little friend at 5:30 this evening. All from a vet who took blood from her neck. What a fucking hack. Read Less

We followed Dr. Dawsey here because he has been such a great vet! He is caring an honest. He gives you options and never tries to push you into having more done than what is needed like so many other places. I have taken my rabbits and my cat here. I was pleased that they take rabbits, most vets don't. They were very nice and gentle with all my babies. I had to take my cat in today for a hurt leg and they did great with him, my baby is on the mend. Read Less

Dr. Prybil is the best! I have used his services for the last 25 years. I have pedigree pups and home town mutts. He has saved the mangled stays that I have brought in to him from the brink of death on more than one occasion. I cannot thank the doctor and staff at Gentle Doctor enough. After taking my elderly yorkie, who was bleeding from the nose, to another vet who wanted me to leave him without even seeing him (or me) first, I drove to Gentle Doctor Animal Hospital. They got us right in, and Dr. Fujikawa could not have been more compassionate or considerate. She understood our financial situation and was competely on board with trying the most conservative line of treatment BEFORE lots of tests and blood work. And, it worked and resolved our yorkie's problems almost immediately. As if that weren't enough, we received a follow up phone call AND letter inquiring as the status of our pet and thanking us for our business. I am so impressed with any business these days that not only provides great customer service, but follows up in the manner that they did. Though this vet is a good half an hour drive from me, it is worth it for their true-to-name gentle approach. The kindness and care my 12 year old pup receives has been outstanding. The tech even crawled down on the floor to help soothe my nervous dog. They are not cheap, but for my hairy baby, I don't want to cut corners. They are open 7 days a week, which is also wonderful. My 10yr old dog got very sick with bad bacteria. They overcharged us. We ended up paying $500 for them to give him a blood analysis and for them to send us home with what he needed to get better. HE NEEDED ANTIBIOTICS AND THEY ONLY GAVE US MEDICINE FOR HIM TO NOT FEEL NAUSEOUS AT AN EXPENSIVE COST AND AN IV BAG. The "Vet" was an asian lady in her 20's/30's. My dog died slowly and painfully 5 days after leaving this place. Was planning on bringing my 10 month old puppy here too. Never again will I take an animal here. I will be pressing charges. My dog had a few years left in him. Now he's never coming back. Read Less

Gentle Doctor is the only vet I trust with my cat, Gigi. They are always friendly and informative, especially with upcoming vaccines or check up notifications. In the event that I have had to board Gigi for the weekend due to last minute circumstances or emergencies they are very accommodating, and they always help to ease my anxiousness of leaving her overnight. They are very attentive to her needs and she always comes home brushed and groomed without requesting those services. I will never take Gigi anywhere else because I trust Gentle Doctor to care for her, and they always go above and beyond what is necessary!Read Less

They helped my rat whom had a severe spider bite on his face , they also worked with in my budget ,and were very caring and helpful, unfortunately the poison was too deep and he passed a few days later ,but as a reserve emergency vet , they're second on my list!
