Took my small dog because he had some mild diarrhea and without any tests but just touching his belly he wanted to give him antibiotics. OKAY? How if you don’t even know what type of bacteria he’s got. Rather than help him it could harm him. And wanted to give him some “tranquilizer” a pill to have him calm down from being nervous since the 4th of July is coming I was like no I don’t want to just drugged up my dog so he was like ok well then let him deal with it (RUDE). Appeared to me he just wanted to get off the clock it wasn’t cheap either ! ($40 just for the consult 7 min MAX) PLUS!! The antibiotics he atttempt to give me looked like something they make there no label nothing on it!! Pretty weird!! I would not take my baby back there!! Be careful people!

My pets have been seeing Dr. Chavez for about 10 years now. He's been amazing. Recently my cat was diagnosed with a rare disease and I can confidently say if I would have taken him somewhere else they would have told me to put him down. Dr. Chavez was patient seeing him time after time until he was able to find the right medication. It's been 3 months now and he is doing great. Thank you Dr. and your amazing staff! 💖

His fees for a visit are very low and his prices are of half of what the other money grubbing vets charge. Save time and money - go to him first!

I've been going to this Animal Hospital since 1995 I've had many dogs and cats over the years and a couple of ferrets and even a goat that they took care of for me. Dr. Castro took over sometime after 2000 It's a small veterinarian Hospital and only has one veterinarian dr. Cesar Castro for any major surgeries he will refer you to another animal hospital as to where they're more equipped for the procedure. Overall for minor surgeries and basic sicknesses he's taking good care of my animals. because it's a small Hospital there's a more personal feel to it. the staff is very kind and caring and try to get to know all their clients. I have three dogs and two cats and because of that they give me a multi animal discount. I just want to give thanks to all the employees that make every visit a pleasant one no matter what the situation.

My little dog has been the sweetest thing for 3.5 years but a little over a week ago she started to get a little aggressive, then she became very possessive of her bed and she bit my finger, she has never done anything like this in the past, So I took her to Northeast Animal Hospital, a friend had recommended this place. after a short wait Dr. Cesar took a quick look at my pup felt her belly and said "oh she is fine it's probably just hormones get her spaded and she will be fine" Well their price to spade her was ridiculously high $175.00 so obviously I didn't have it done there. a couple days later I took her to a different animal hospital recommended by the ASPCA to have the procedure done. Nice place really and the cost after a $20.00 coupon from the ASPCA was going to be $60, well I left my pup in their hands but before I got 2 miles down road I received a call from the doctor he said my pup was producing milk and since she wasn't pregnant she was having a false pregnancy and it's not suggested to do the spading at this time. So my question is why the h--- didn't Dr. Cesar take a few minuets and do a real evaluation on my pup. I was a little less than impressed when I left there and now I'm a little bit pissed off, they did give her her shots but they should have properly evaluated her, it would have saved me a lot of concern, time and money. so obviously I don't recommend Northeast Animal Hospital. You want a good vet call ASPCA for a recommendation they know who the good vets are. Also check right here yelp I should have done that before going to this place.

last night on our way home from the dog park, my fiancé and i passed a dog that was hit in the middle of the road and could not move. we pulled over, thankfully there was someone that blocked traffic from hitting her. when we got to her, she was bleeding from the face(eyes, nose and mouth). she could t even move, we had to carry her into my car and take her to a vet. unfortunately it was just reaching 8pm and I couldn't find any vet hospital open and calling animal control was absolutely a waste of time(the rep said they won't come get the animal unless it's dead).well, we were 7mins away from this hospital, we pulled up just to check if someone might still be in the office, knocked on the door and no one responded. right before we pulled out, a woman walked out and I jumped out the car just to ask if she knew a place or could help in anyway. besides her huge ATTITUDE and rudely reminding me that they're closed, she was extremely snotty about it and didn't even care to help. I was so hopeful that this being a ANIMAL hospital, that regardless of the time, they would at least be concerned. for gods sake, this puppy was trying its hardest to breathe and couldn't. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE! needless to say, after 4 calls & driving to "city limits" we got animal control to come out and pick her up to take her to a ER hospital. unfortunately, when we called the shelter they took her to the next day, she passed away upon arrival.

I have been to NE Animal Hospital twice and both times I have been very impressed. Their prices are more than fair and I will not go anywhere else going forward. I told them when I was coming. I got there and I went right in for my dog to be weighed. The Dr came right in after to do the vaccinations and was very nice and the entire appointment lasted 10 to 15 minutes. I have had bad experiences in the past with checkups where different vets will charge for so many extra things and I love how straight forward they are with me. I was charged exactly what I was quoted on the call. Don't let me forget that my dog walked out happy and never had any anxiety which is most important!

I had to take my cat to them when he was 2 for urinary problems. I had just had to have my 13 year old cat put to sleep because of kidney failure, so I was devastated when my 2 year old cat started having issues. Dr. Castro didn't do a lot of unnecessary testing on my cat and charged me minimally while giving my cat the best care. My cat is doing fine, and he is now 6 years old. Today, I called them because my big golden retriever who is 13 could no longer get up. His back legs totally gave out, and he wouldn't even drink water today. Dr. Castro came out to the truck and very gently put my dog to sleep while I held him. He said, I'm sorry for your loss. This is a great place to go with people who are very kind. I highly recommend them.

The vet himself told me to go to a payday advance place to get cash!!!!! Thankfully i wasnt able to come up with the cash. I even went as far as calling my 80 yr old grandma for money. As for my puppy, he was just fine 24 hours later. that guys a douchebag preying on people's emotions.The vet we ended up with informed us that without a lab test of his poop you cant tell if its parvo. He never offered or did any lab test. If you love your animals STAY AWAY!!!!!

Took my small dog because he had some mild diarrhea and without any tests but just touching his belly he wanted to give him antibiotics. OKAY? How if you don’t even know what type of bacteria he’s got. Rather than help him it could harm him. And wanted to give him some “tranquilizer” a pill to have him calm down from being nervous since the 4th of July is coming I was like no I don’t want to just drugged up my dog so he was like ok well then let him deal with it (RUDE). Appeared to me he just wanted to get off the clock it wasn’t cheap either ! ($40 just for the consult 7 min MAX) PLUS!! The antibiotics he atttempt to give me looked like something they make there no label nothing on it!! Pretty weird!! I would not take my baby back there!! Be careful people!

Recently my cat was diagnosed with a rare disease and I can confidently say if I would have taken him somewhere else they would have told me to put him down. Dr. Chavez was patient seeing him time after time until he was able to find the right medication. It's been 3 months now and he is doing great. Thank you Dr. and your amazing staff! 💖

I've been going to this Animal Hospital since 1995 I've had many dogs and cats over the years and a couple of ferrets and even a goat that they took care of for me. Dr. Castro took over sometime after 2000 It's a small veterinarian Hospital and only has one veterinarian dr. Cesar Castro for any major surgeries he will refer you to another animal hospital as to where they're more equipped for the procedure. Overall for minor surgeries and basic sicknesses he's taking good care of my animals. because it's a small Hospital there's a more personal feel to it. the staff is very kind and caring and try to get to know all their clients. I have three dogs and two cats and because of that they give me a multi animal discount. I just want to give thanks to all the employees that make every visit a pleasant one no matter what the situation.

He was compassionate and understanding and showed us so much empathy. I can't believe it took us this long to find him. I am impressed with their prices, bedside manner, and 100% customer service.

My little dog has been the sweetest thing for 3.5 years but a little over a week ago she started to get a little aggressive, then she became very possessive of her bed and she bit my finger, she has never done anything like this in the past, So I took her to Northeast Animal Hospital, a friend had recommended this place. after a short wait Dr. Cesar took a quick look at my pup felt her belly and said "oh she is fine it's probably just hormones get her spaded and she will be fine" Well their price to spade her was ridiculously high $175.00 so obviously I didn't have it done there. a couple days later I took her to a different animal hospital recommended by the ASPCA to have the procedure done. Nice place really and the cost after a $20.00 coupon from the ASPCA was going to be $60, well I left my pup in their hands but before I got 2 miles down road I received a call from the doctor he said my pup was producing milk and since she wasn't pregnant she was having a false pregnancy and it's not suggested to do the spading at this time. So my question is why the h--- didn't Dr. Cesar take a few minuets and do a real evaluation on my pup. I was a little less than impressed when I left there and now I'm a little bit pissed off, they did give her her shots but they should have properly evaluated her, it would have saved me a lot of concern, time and money. so obviously I don't recommend Northeast Animal Hospital. You want a good vet call ASPCA for a recommendation they know who the good vets are. Also check right here yelp I should have done that before going to this place.

last night on our way home from the dog park, my fiancé and i passed a dog that was hit in the middle of the road and could not move. we pulled over, thankfully there was someone that blocked traffic from hitting her. when we got to her, she was bleeding from the face(eyes, nose and mouth). she could t even move, we had to carry her into my car and take her to a vet. unfortunately it was just reaching 8pm and I couldn't find any vet hospital open and calling animal control was absolutely a waste of time(the rep said they won't come get the animal unless it's dead).well, we were 7mins away from this hospital, we pulled up just to check if someone might still be in the office, knocked on the door and no one responded. right before we pulled out, a woman walked out and I jumped out the car just to ask if she knew a place or could help in anyway. besides her huge ATTITUDE and rudely reminding me that they're closed, she was extremely snotty about it and didn't even care to help. I was so hopeful that this being a ANIMAL hospital, that regardless of the time, they would at least be concerned. for gods sake, this puppy was trying its hardest to breathe and couldn't. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE! needless to say, after 4 calls & driving to "city limits" we got animal control to come out and pick her up to take her to a ER hospital. unfortunately, when we called the shelter they took her to the next day, she passed away upon arrival.

I have been to NE Animal Hospital twice and both times I have been very impressed. Their prices are more than fair and I will not go anywhere else going forward. I told them when I was coming. I got there and I went right in for my dog to be weighed. The Dr came right in after to do the vaccinations and was very nice and the entire appointment lasted 10 to 15 minutes. I have had bad experiences in the past with checkups where different vets will charge for so many extra things and I love how straight forward they are with me. I was charged exactly what I was quoted on the call. Don't let me forget that my dog walked out happy and never had any anxiety which is most important!

I had to take my cat to them when he was 2 for urinary problems. I had just had to have my 13 year old cat put to sleep because of kidney failure, so I was devastated when my 2 year old cat started having issues. Dr. Castro didn't do a lot of unnecessary testing on my cat and charged me minimally while giving my cat the best care. My cat is doing fine, and he is now 6 years old. Today, I called them because my big golden retriever who is 13 could no longer get up. His back legs totally gave out, and he wouldn't even drink water today. Dr. Castro came out to the truck and very gently put my dog to sleep while I held him. He said, I'm sorry for your loss. This is a great place to go with people who are very kind. I highly recommend them.

The vet himself told me to go to a payday advance place to get cash!!!!! Thankfully i wasnt able to come up with the cash. I even went as far as calling my 80 yr old grandma for money. As for my puppy, he was just fine 24 hours later. that guys a douchebag preying on people's emotions.The vet we ended up with informed us that without a lab test of his poop you cant tell if its parvo. He never offered or did any lab test. If you love your animals STAY AWAY!!!!!
