I must say I never like going to vets because I feel like they are going to rip you off and tell you a bunch of things that you don't want to hear. I had went to another vet that was down the street from this one who was HORRIBLE doctors, front staff, everyone. So I was hesitant to try this place but looked up the reviews and they were all great so took a chance and went in. First off great impression just walking in the door. The girl upfront was super nice and greeted with a smile didn't feel pressured or rushed. Once we got through the paperwork which was super super easy by the way we went into a room. Next tech came in asked a few questions very nice and said doctor would be in shortly. Two mins later doctor Gumfory comes in super sweet nice starts checking my pup and telling me that what a great job I have been doing with him. Tells me everything is good and that if I have any certain questions or concerns I didn't he answered everyone of them. So nice to meet him and to be treated with respect. I must say I will tell everyone to go here. He was so nice didn't tell me a bunch of crap I don't want to hear. Kept it short and sweet. A big five stars for this place I would give more if I could.

I've seen several vets in Las Vegas, and Dr. Gumfory stands out as a real gem. He is extremely friendly and welcoming, and is very easy to interact with. He really seems to enjoy his job and helping pets in a thorough, conscientious way. My impression from his support staff was exactly the same. I never felt rushed, things were explained in depth, but also simply and clearly, and all my questions were answered. He has been practicing at this location for over 30 years, so he has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience. I felt very confident in his diagnosis. His prices are also, surprisingly, fantastic, equal to or better than others vets in town. Highly, highly recommended.

Dr. Gumfory and his staff have been caring for our three dogs for over 15 years. I can't express how much I appreciate this team. Dr. Gumfory is a straight-shooter, common-sense miracle worker who doesn't waste any time or unnecessary money on the behalf of his patients and their owners. He is caring and accommodating and has helped our dogs through some really scary illnesses and injuries. His team, both at the front desk, and in the trenches, are top-notch personalities, animal caregivers and tremendously professional. This team is a true extension of our animal family. Always going the extra mile, always checking in on the healing process of our pets, always a Grade A+++ experience. Thank you so much for being so wonderful!

Late night rip off !The first thing they care about is getting your credit card, then they give you a long pitch about how your pet is going to die at any minute so you need to sign a credit card for another $3,500 to pay for the care that it going to take to get her through the night and that might involve surgery and partial or full removal of a lung. Very bad actors, long story that doesn't add up. I took my pet to another vet within 20 minutes.. They checked her out and said the previous Vet doesn't know what she is talking about. They gave me an antibiotic for her and in 2 days she was just fine. This is the Typical Vegas type scam... get you in the middle of the night... get your credit card number and rip you off.

The best vet in Las Vegas! He cares about the animals and humans too! I've referred many people who all are super satisfied with Dr Gumphrey's knowledge and staff. I'm so glad I found this place. I've had my pets neutered, their teeth cleaned regular check ups , shots and my lab had her ACL surgery there. I have never had anything other than an absolute amazing experience and I will always continue to go to northwest animal hospital as long as I own a pet.

when our sweet lab mix, Ginger, was 'sick as a dog' throwing up blood, we took her to her normal vet at Banfield. Even though it was an emergency, they said they were all booked and wouldn't see her! Shame! We came to Northwest V.H. because it is two blocks from our home and it had a great yelp rating. The girls up front, immediately sprang into action when hearing of our baby's symptoms. We saw a vet within 15 mins of arriving! The vet was SO NICE. She got down on the ground and spent time petting and loving Ginger. Xrays were done quickly, and the vet brought us back and explained everything in detail and with so much patience in layman's terms. Poor girl needed surgery to remove an obstruction in her stomach. They had her in surgery within 2 hours of arriving. Amazing! The SINCERE KINDNESS, SENSE OF UGENCY, and GENUINE CARING, we experienced at this facility was absolutely the top notch! I will NEVER EVER go anywhere else!!!

He tells you the truth and what to expect and does not recommend senseless & expensive testing - you need that kind of information to make practical and emotional decisions. Hiya, Dis is the garden cat known as Troibos Da Tippytappz. Momz takes me here freaking out with emergencies ouchies. Momz has nots founds a good vets- other vet she took the flat face monstor to (you know dis one as "pug") and says she doesnt like. Good- longer time I skip my checkup. Oh yes, di emergencies. I peed on Momz clothes and she was mad when I peed on her chair. I was giving her that as a sign I hurts so she made appointment to check up. Dadz not happies eeee thors. A few hours later, I no feel so well. Momz held me and it hurt so I pawed at her face to get awayz and ran to my hide place- the bathtub with my blue blankie. She calls gran maws and great grand maws. I hate rides. I dont know what the flat face talks about rides so nice. I screech at momz to show displeasurz at rides and this cloth box. Vet office was scary but they finish fast. He opened di mout and look at my bootiful eyes and he poked my leg with something ouchie. I thought this place was for feel bettows? Then I get taken home and for two weeks mom gave me "the stick" with the pink candy. I noe likes dis candy so I make the squint face as Momz to report da displeasurez. Where is good food? I can haz cheeseburger and bundt cakez? I dont know what happens, but then I feel bettows and back in di garden ordering da birds around. Yays! Maybe he rubs da head and uses magick? I saws that on Green Mile. I no see Jerry Gumfory on the Tee Vees, but it works sames. Oh Momz says that the price is reasonable. That means more fish dinnerz for meeesss. I like.

I absolutely love this office! I was referred to them after my little dog had a bad experience at another office. I explained to them what had occured at the other office and they took care to be very gentle with him. They gave him 2 shots and he didn't even flinch. Recently, i adopted another dog and took her in to get a check up because i was concerned about her spay incision looking inflamed. The doctor was very understanding and calmed my nerves. He had me bring her back for another check up and then once more to get the stitches out. The last two visits they didn't even charge me.
You can tell that they truly care about animals and are not just out to make money off of people. I would 100% recommend them to anyone!

I've seen several vets in Las Vegas, and Dr. Gumfory stands out as a real gem. He is extremely friendly and welcoming, and is very easy to interact with. He really seems to enjoy his job and helping pets in a thorough, conscientious way. My impression from his support staff was exactly the same. I never felt rushed, things were explained in depth, but also simply and clearly, and all my questions were answered. He has been practicing at this location for over 30 years, so he has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience. I felt very confident in his diagnosis. His prices are also, surprisingly, fantastic, equal to or better than others vets in town. Highly, highly recommended.

Dr. Gumfory and his staff have been caring for our three dogs for over 15 years. I can't express how much I appreciate this team. Dr. Gumfory is a straight-shooter, common-sense miracle worker who doesn't waste any time or unnecessary money on the behalf of his patients and their owners. He is caring and accommodating and has helped our dogs through some really scary illnesses and injuries. His team, both at the front desk, and in the trenches, are top-notch personalities, animal caregivers and tremendously professional. This team is a true extension of our animal family. Always going the extra mile, always checking in on the healing process of our pets, always a Grade A+++ experience. Thank you so much for being so wonderful!

Late night rip off !The first thing they care about is getting your credit card, then they give you a long pitch about how your pet is going to die at any minute so you need to sign a credit card for another $3,500 to pay for the care that it going to take to get her through the night and that might involve surgery and partial or full removal of a lung. Very bad actors, long story that doesn't add up. I took my pet to another vet within 20 minutes.. They checked her out and said the previous Vet doesn't know what she is talking about. They gave me an antibiotic for her and in 2 days she was just fine. This is the Typical Vegas type scam... get you in the middle of the night... get your credit card number and rip you off.

The best vet in Las Vegas! He cares about the animals and humans too! I've referred many people who all are super satisfied with Dr Gumphrey's knowledge and staff. I'm so glad I found this place. I've had my pets neutered, their teeth cleaned regular check ups , shots and my lab had her ACL surgery there. I have never had anything other than an absolute amazing experience and I will always continue to go to northwest animal hospital as long as I own a pet.

when our sweet lab mix, Ginger, was 'sick as a dog' throwing up blood, we took her to her normal vet at Banfield. Even though it was an emergency, they said they were all booked and wouldn't see her! Shame! We came to Northwest V.H. because it is two blocks from our home and it had a great yelp rating. The girls up front, immediately sprang into action when hearing of our baby's symptoms. We saw a vet within 15 mins of arriving! The vet was SO NICE. She got down on the ground and spent time petting and loving Ginger. Xrays were done quickly, and the vet brought us back and explained everything in detail and with so much patience in layman's terms. Poor girl needed surgery to remove an obstruction in her stomach. They had her in surgery within 2 hours of arriving. Amazing! The SINCERE KINDNESS, SENSE OF UGENCY, and GENUINE CARING, we experienced at this facility was absolutely the top notch! I will NEVER EVER go anywhere else!!!

He tells you the truth and what to expect and does not recommend senseless & expensive testing - you need that kind of information to make practical and emotional decisions. Hiya, Dis is the garden cat known as Troibos Da Tippytappz. Momz takes me here freaking out with emergencies ouchies. Momz has nots founds a good vets- other vet she took the flat face monstor to (you know dis one as "pug") and says she doesnt like. Good- longer time I skip my checkup. Oh yes, di emergencies. I peed on Momz clothes and she was mad when I peed on her chair. I was giving her that as a sign I hurts so she made appointment to check up. Dadz not happies eeee thors. A few hours later, I no feel so well. Momz held me and it hurt so I pawed at her face to get awayz and ran to my hide place- the bathtub with my blue blankie. She calls gran maws and great grand maws. I hate rides. I dont know what the flat face talks about rides so nice. I screech at momz to show displeasurz at rides and this cloth box. Vet office was scary but they finish fast. He opened di mout and look at my bootiful eyes and he poked my leg with something ouchie. I thought this place was for feel bettows? Then I get taken home and for two weeks mom gave me "the stick" with the pink candy. I noe likes dis candy so I make the squint face as Momz to report da displeasurez. Where is good food? I can haz cheeseburger and bundt cakez? I dont know what happens, but then I feel bettows and back in di garden ordering da birds around. Yays! Maybe he rubs da head and uses magick? I saws that on Green Mile. I no see Jerry Gumfory on the Tee Vees, but it works sames. Oh Momz says that the price is reasonable. That means more fish dinnerz for meeesss. I like.

I absolutely love this office! I was referred to them after my little dog had a bad experience at another office. I explained to them what had occured at the other office and they took care to be very gentle with him. They gave him 2 shots and he didn't even flinch. Recently, i adopted another dog and took her in to get a check up because i was concerned about her spay incision looking inflamed. The doctor was very understanding and calmed my nerves. He had me bring her back for another check up and then once more to get the stitches out. The last two visits they didn't even charge me.
You can tell that they truly care about animals and are not just out to make money off of people. I would 100% recommend them to anyone!
