I've been bringing all my dogs here for 15 years! The staff is so knowledgeable and efficient. I also love how personable they all are! I was a veterinary technician for almost 7 years. I just moved to Las Vegas and my dog needs an appointment for a wellness check up. When I called I was just asking different questions about their X-rays and dentals, vaccines .etc because my dog gets vaccines yearly and a dental once a year. I also asked what type of equipment they use for the procedures. The receptionist on the phone not only had the worst attitude ever but she talked to me like I was dumber than a box of rocks. I will not ever bring my animal to this place just because I can't imagine the care my animal would get if someone is so rude to me, clearly they won't be kind to anyone or anything. We have been clients of Pet Medical Center of LV since 1997. When we first moved to this side of town, we were looking for a vet for our Basset Hound. We were lucky to have picked PMC. Several years after we began at PMC, our dear dog developed a very rare condition (usually a post-mortem diagnosis). Because of their tenacity and earnest research, our Basset was diagnosed early, put on treatment and lived many happy years, longer than we ever expected. The staff at Pet Medical Center are simply the best. Everytime I'm in there with my German Shepard Gnarly, they greet us like family. The know me by name and Gnarly just by his bark =). They always give Gnarly the best care and keep me fully informed and up to speed with everything. Just as I thought this place could not get worse .... After dealing with the worst customer service and lack of knowledge from their staff, I thought I would never have to worry about this place again. I had my dogs go here to get a Lepto vaccination which not all vets administer in Las Vegas. The paperwork they gave me was not the correct one that the USDA needed to approve their travel. The USDA vet was kind enough to call them and request supporting documents for the vaccines. The staff at Pet Medical Center simply did not care to do so. The USDA called a total of three times before they finally received the documents they needed. I know that the PMCLV is well aware of the time sensitivity of USDA paperwork and I find this completely disrespectful. My babies lost their initial travel reservation but thankfully everyone else has been extremely kind and helpful. If you care about your pets, take them somewhere where the staff does the same. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Jennifer Yates and her ENTIRE staff at Pet Medical Center. We have had several pet "emergencies" from a dog with a rattlesnake bite to a dog that required long term care and monitoring. EVERY visit to Pet Medical Center (and there have been many!) has been a positive experience. The entire staff is friendly, kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and they go above and beyond the bar of excellence to help out their patients. My experiences at Pet Medical Center of Las Vegas have all been wonderful. The staff are very friendly, knowledgable, and really care about the animals/pets they see day to day. Always greeted with a warm smile and staff give my dog a warm welcome. Dr. Yates is terrific! She is knowledge, a good listener, thorough and is always happy to see my dog. Add to that the fact that my cats occasionally visit my store on Saturdays I have found a place I can get to pretty quickly for routine visits. I adopt all our cats from Animal Foundation but finding a vet when I work full time plus has been a problem. The staff was super friendly even when I as usual was running a few minutes late; they sure didn't make me feel like it. The place was very clean and we were taken into a cats only room. My guy was very comfortable with everyone who came in which makes getting there all the easier in the future. Looking forward to developing a long and happy relationship Read Less

Everyone at Pet Medical Center is very friendly and compassionate. And I really appreciate that they take the crate back out to the car for me. At my age, it is very difficult to carry a 20+ pound cat... AND the crate! I know that my cat is in the best of hands. I'm actually convinced that he LIKES it there, since he only complains during the car ride, and says nothing once he's inside the center. Thanks to all of you for taking such good care of him! My wife and I have been taking both of our dogs here since they were puppies. We have seen a change in Doctors and staff over the years. Since the beginning we have been in awe of the tremendous amount of love, support and service Pet Medical Center of Las Vegas offers. Every year we have loved bringing both of our dogs here more. The current Doctors and staff show so much affection and love to our babies I would not know what to do without them. We have two dachshunds and both have had serious medical issues throughout there life. Anything from back problems to major medical issues and Pet Medical has seen them and us through this. They have taught us how to take preventive measures and educated us on how to be better parents. We are even those dog owners that travel with our dogs including major trips to bark at the park at Oakland A's stadium in Northern California. When the first time came in their 7+ years that we ever needed to board one of them, there was no question where we would turn. We again turned to Pet Medical where they received the same love and commitment we give them daily. Our boy came home happy and healthy. I adopted a dog from an animal shelter and everyone I talked to recommended this place. Dr. yates was great to work with and answered all of my questions.The price seems right too but it is hard to compare since vets seem to do different test, services, etc. Read Less
