This was our first visit with our new puppy and Dr. Ann Bradley and her staff were all wonderful. Dr. Ann took the time to answer all of our questions in a very professional manner and really took the time to educate us as she did so. Many docs and vets tend to get defensive with educated patients/pet parents, but Dr. Ann was not that way at all and we truly appreciated that. Her staff all loved on our little guy and he was relaxed and comfortable and overall it was such an easy experience. Best Vets office in Las Vegas. I have a speciality exotic animal (mini piglet) and Dr Scott is the ONLY vet I will ever bring her too. He is respectful, informative, very caring, takes his time with her and really is an incredible Dr. highly recommended. The facility is always clean and the staff all treat my baby girl so well. I'm so upset! I came here and spent an arm an a leg. First off I Live on the complete opposite side of town why would you ask when I come here well I had a friend referred me who was supposed to get me a discount. That never happened and I figured out that he got $25 referral fee. Anyways so I come in with my new puppy and the doctor is sort of nice but she tells me that she is very concerned about the puppy and she wants to take all kinds of tests. I was prepared to pay like $75 for two shots that's what my friend said it would be. But with the exam she never told me how much everything would be right so they go ahead and do all the tests on the dog and then say oh he's fine. And then saying they wanted to check his poop for worms and I guess they couldn't get a sample from him we were there from 315 until like 5:15pm.. I guess he could've been empty but still. I also asked the vet tech to please cut his nails she didn't do that and neither did the doctor. So by the time I go to check out I walk out and I realize I hadn't paid I felt bad so I went back inside to pay and when I would go to check out it's $260 !!! I thought maybe I shouldn't have came back in to pay jeeze at that price anyways. So I pay and they tell me to bring the stool sample back in and it will be another $75 so I decided to check on my side of town and I told them all of my tribulations with this workplace and they told me you should've came here we would've only charged you like 120 at the most. And then the poop sample was only $25 there. I feel like I got played for my money here. Now I see why the vet wears a Rolex... Read Less

We adopted a rescue pet this weekend and decided we wanted to take her in and have her checked out.  Dr. Scott was amazing with her.. we were showed and taught so much about her.. very knowledgeable and great with her as well as thoroughly explaining everything to us.. what a great experience.. thank you soooo much for everything... It took me a while to find Dr Scott and his wonderful staff, maybe a bit too long... But their confidence, professionalism and caring manner gave me hope when I broght them my very sick Ball Python. Fatty died a couple of weeks later dispite the wonderful, all be it too late, care he received. I was very sadened, but the next day I called The Ark to let Dr Scott and his staff know. They were very kind and even sent me a sympathy card a few days later. Two last things, if your pet is sick, please don't hesitate. YouTube is fine for fixing your car, but not your babies,human or critter. Last but not least, if Lord forbid you do find you need a veterinarian for your fur,feather,fuzz or scale baby, I suggest you make an appointment with Dr Scott SOONER rather than later.Read Less

I had to make the hardest decision of my life on Friday 12/16/2016 at 3pm. I had to put my loving dog Carmelo down due to an illness . This clinic is amazing because people like Dr. Kim Robinson truly love and care for animals. It was her day off but she came to work just for us. She's compassionate, loving and she's truly a god sent. She made this experience so much better by giving us options and also sharing her personal experience. I know baby Melo is in heaven. I would not take my babies anywhere else.  My big boy Henry got hurt last week and I rushed him in and they took care of him right away.  It's a 20-30 minute drive from my house in no traffic and has been as long as 40 and worth it!  Dr. Ann is great and the staff is wonderful.  Thank you for taking care of my babies! Love the staff and the doctors here.  Dr. Scott Bradley is the most compassionate vet I've ever met.  He takes his time with our Tami and is very thorough with his examinations.  He talks softly to her and helps her feel at ease.  They also have the most wonderful groomer, Amber!!!  Tami walks right up to her and is ready for her close up.  Her prices are very reasonable and her work is incredible. I wanted to thank dr ann and the staff for there service today. I had to have my 18 yr old cat Alice euthanized. We started coming here because every time we went to the previous vet we saw a different Dr. At Ark there is consistency they know us, they know my dogs history and "normal" behavior. They take the time to connect with their clients. The fact that they really do care is obvious. What a great place.! Read Less

I have had my dog Gizmo boarded there on several occasions and was happy with how they took are of him, he is shy around people and will often growl or run away, but HE loves the staff there!!!  Also, I have taken Gizmo there for shots and other medical issues, he even had to have some teeth pulled out, they always communicated with me and explained all of the expenses while giving Gizmo the best treatment.  I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic to anyone they care and my dog does not take to too many people.   I respect his judgment!!!! I've been with this clinic for years, putting up with the owners who are very harsh and blunt with their communication. My Pomeranian became very ill and we were told she had pneumonia and the vet stated she was surprised she was even still alive. Who says that to upset pet owners? She ended up charging us $300 for shots that didn't work & we had to watch my baby slowly pass away at home. The clinic owner offered no sympathy and sent us home. I am no longer with them.Read Less

I love the ARK! every veterinarian here is compassionate and does all they can every time!!! So if your not being seen on time, it is because they are doing the most for someone else. Dr. Scott is constantly learning and striving to keep pace with all the newest technology out there. The laser treatments are why I actually chose this clinic, they are unbelievable. We have used Ark for about a decade now.  We've been there with 2 cats, and now 3 dogs.  They've always taken the best care of our pets.  Our, now deceased, first dog was NOT a fan of going to the vet.  Dr. Scott arranged a home visit to make it easier on her, and took great care of her.  When it came time that she could take no more, he was the one, and I couldn't have asked for someone more understanding, compassionate, and caring.Now, we have 2 dogs, one is another challenging one for the vet visits.  Both Dr. Ann and Dr. Scott worked with us to find a way that Luna would be happy.  They took the time to understand what her challenges were, and we figured out a good accommodation to suit what makes a vet visit the least stressful for both the dog and the owner! They've also got a hidden gem in Dr. Mitchell.  She is also great and takes the extra time to treat Luna the way she wants to be.Unfortunately, our Luna has battled with seizures, so vet visits are a common thing.  Luckily, due to the Rx mix we've developed, she hasn't had a seizure for years, but needs to go often for check ups and blood draws.  We're always in and out quickly, and the Doctors rarely run behind, but somehow seem to take the time to care for your pet and explain the situation to the "parent".  Even call always after any kind of procedure to see how the patient is doing.I've seen several posts about misunderstandings about charges.  I can say that in the 10+ years we've been going, I've never had a misunderstanding about pricing.  Everything from normal checkups to teeth cleaning, to a neck operation, the price always was what they had told me it would be.Highly recommended! We've taken our two rescued rabbits here for different reasons and the staff have all been wonderful. The wait can be a bit long at times, but the overall visits have always been great. It's hard finding vets that have knowledge of rabbits and it's great finding ones that can treat them which are close to my home. Read Less

I am extremely upset with The Ark Animal Clinic, I had an emergency with my Cat, called their office 11/17/2014 at 8am when they opened. Only to have a long wait in their office. My regular Vet's office hours start at 10:30am, rather than wait I, immediately called The Ark, and took my kitty in. After waiting so long, I had to leave due not having my diabetes medication, and I started to have an anxiety attack as well. While I was home getting my medication, my regular Vet called, and I rushed my kitty to him. The following morning, which is today 11/18/2014 at 8:27am, I got a called from The Ark, stating they were concerned about my Cat since I did not return yesterday, and that would be considered animal cruelty. They also stated if I did not call them back they would have to take action. I called them back alright, and demanded an apology for such an accusation. The girl claimed they were concerned about my Kitty, and said she was told to say that so people would call them back, Are you kidding me!!! That's an outrage to animal lover such as myself. Well if they were truly concerned about my Kitty, why didn't they call me yesterday, instead of waiting 24 hours!!!!Read Less

Very disappointed in my pets last visit. I was over charged for products and services and given the used bottles to take home instead of new ones. I have been taking my dog the Ark for many years just seems to me like everyone wants to get over on you these days. I called to ask why I was charged with no avail, the answer that I got was not satisfying at all.Read Less

I came in today on a emergency. I am with a well known rescue group and had a dying dog. They wouldn't help me. And wanted $500 up front. So I had to rush my dog to another vet where he ended up passing. As a business who is supposed to help animals . They were cold and more worried about money than helping an animal. They make me sick to my stomach. They should probably go into another business as obviously animals don't come first .. Money does. Read Less

This clinic is a piece of heaven when it comes to diagnosing and treating your furry family members like you would. I take 3 dogs and 3 cats to them and have never once been unhappy nor disappointed with their treatments and the way both Doctor Scott and Doctor Ann care for them. TLC is a rare commodity in Las Vegas and these two Doctors deliver on the spot. Able to diagnose when other vets were unable to. Saved my pets!!! Read Less

"YOU MISUNDERSTOOD WHAT WE MEANT!! THERE IS A FEE FOR FOLLOWUP!!  /\/\/\/\-- Same thing as VW.  I read the review and went, figured if I got them to confirm actual costs a few times I wouldn't get zapped.WRONG.  I went, got Logan checked out, bought $150 worth of meds and services, Vet assured me that "She won't charge for the 30 day checkup- it's a WEIGHT CHECK"Went in 28 days later to weigh him (on my own)  confirmed AGAIN that the checkup I was scheduled for 2 days later was FREEWent in for actual scheduled checkup, walked out since there was supposedly no charge, got a call saying I skipped out on $24.95.  I said I confirmed 3x the follow was supposed to be no charge and they pulled the "well that was WEIGHT check, for looking in his ears it's $24.95"Not in the context of the first 3 conversations and confirmations I had.Oh well, guess it's time for another Vet.  Hate that "billing mistake" crap and I'm not gonna subject myself to it.PS --  am I off or when was the last time you had the VET ask for your SSN#?  If you guys at the ARK are reading this, all that info is bogus, I'm not giving you my SSN and personal info.  My credit cards and cash are all you need.  Sorry, but that's not your business to know.rjpEDIT: Answer to Becky below:  Becky, asking for my SSN isn't for "identification"- it's so you can blackmail and threaten customers with collections and ruined credit if they don't pay those sudden follow up fees you promised were free...Nice try tho. Slightly DisappointingI have been taking my dogs to Ark Animal Clinic for over 10 years, and for years was happy. They could general fit me on short notice and their prices were pretty good. Then one time our bug guy was spraying in our back yard and my 100lb chocolate lab tried to jump through our sliding glass door. He cut up his feet/ legs pretty bad. There was blood everywhere! We rushed him to Ark and while they did treat him they later told us that he was unmanageable and asked us to not bring him back. Please tell me what dog is going to be calm and unaffected in that situation. my dogs have been treated by both Dr Scott Bradley and Dr Ann Bradley. Dr. Scott seems to charge more for the exact same services than his wife. One of my labs had an ear infection for over six months. Originally we were seeing Dr. Scott and nothing was helping with the ear infection. Then I switched to Dr Ann and noticed she was charging me less than her husband which I'm not complaining about, but I started wondering if they were just scamming me. I continued to see Dr Ann for a few months and the ear infection did not clear up. I expressed my concern that this infection had gone on for so long and that my dog had not felt good for MONTHS. Her solution was to give me 4 new medications to " give a try". I kind of felt like she was just going through a process of elimination with different medications which didn't instill much confidence. I decided to get a second opinion. In one visit to the new vet, she determined it was a yeast ear infection and prescribed the proper medication. One week later my dog's ear infection was gone. As far as I know, The doctors and everyone in the office treats the animals well, but it bothers me that they never treat my dog in the room. Every time they take my dogs in the back for a long time, and I'm really not comfortable with it. I continue to take my dogs here for basic things like yearly shots, but when something is really wrong I don't feel comfortable bringing my pets here. I will say that the staff is always very friendly and there was also a time that Dr Ann pretty much saved my dog's tail. My dog had " happy tail". She was wagging her tail ALL THE TIME and would hit it on everything. Eventually the Tip of her tail broke open and we just couldn't get it to heal or even keep a bandage on it. Dr. Ann amputated about 2 inches off her tail and came up with a creative badge that we were able to keep on for a few hours at a time. Because she wags her tail so much it took a REALLY long time to get her tail to heal, but Dr Ann was patient and worked with us so that we didn't have to amputate her whole tail. Everyone should judge for themselves to determine if Ark is the right place for you and your pets. as I said I was very happy there for a number of years. Read Less
