Ok folks here's the lowdown on this place, it's NOT pretty. Firstly let me tell you, wife has been a client here for nearly 10 years. Dr Kerry Davis was the absolute epitome of the vet you want caring for your pet. Unfortunately she left in late 2016. We have acquired 2 more beautiful furry felines in the past year. I have taken them both to VCA Hualapai twice in the past year, both times I've been over charged majorly. This practice has NO SOUL, they have forgotten our pets are the reason for their business! That entails both the pet & we, the owners. No soul, vets with poor skills, very little focus on the pet & the pets loving owner & caregiver. To add insult to injury the pricing is excessive to the extreme. Do not under any circumstances accept the pricing they quote for anything. A quick Google search will show typical averages for the service being provided. There will be variations according to your pets condition, age etc. But it's fairly darn close. Use this to arm yourself before you take your beloved pet here. Information is power! It's just an overpriced VCA pump em thru pet processing profit center!! Avoid at all costs. They will not work with you on a payment schedule. We as pet owners often forget to budget for unforseen vet visits. Personally I'd be happy to spend $750 on my pets treatment, BUT like most of you reading this I'd need the ability to break it down into 4 or equal payments based on my pay cycle. Nope this won't happen!! If it were possible to give zero stars, I would! Do yourselves & your pet a favor, walk the other way!! Read Less

I unfortunately had to put my do to sleep on May 30th due to renal failure. As traumatic as that was the vet was extremely compassionate during the entire process. I signed the forms to have my dog cremated in a private cremation, paid the fees and left their establishment. As distraught as I left I didn't ask how long it would take to get my dog back. I called the following Wednesday, to be told that my dog's remains would be brought back on Friday June 5th. After not getting a call during that day, I called to follow up to be told that the process usually was from 7-10 business days and that my dog's remains would be back by the 9th of June. Most of the 9th went by and I decided to call VCA to find out if my dog's remains had made it back. Jenna who answered the phone put me on a long hold as she was looking for my dog's ashes. She came back and said, I will have to call you back since I cannot locate her ashes and I have to go check in another room with the overflow ashes. At that time I panicked since they didn't know my dog's ashes whereabouts. I did receive a call a few minutes later to only tell me that my dog had yet to be cremated due to a delay. At that point I lost it as 10 days had gone by and my dog had not been cremated. The longer I talked to Jenna the more lies I was told. First that due to not knowing how to spell my dog's first and last name that there was a delay. Now what kind of joke is that? 10 day delay due to a name?? When I asked to speak to a manager she told me that no one was around. She failed to tell me that she herself was a supervisor. I finally got her to have her manager, Megan, call me, even though she was in another state for a supposed conference. The manager tried to cover for her supervisor by trying to reassure me that its never happened before. I asked why I wasn't informed that there was a delay, to which she couldn't give me an explanation. She promised to look into it the next day even though she herself said there was an emergency after hours number. As the manager of the hospital you would figure that she would have the manager's personal number for the crematorium that she sends all her dead pets to. That of course was not an option. I have lost all trust in this place that initially showed compassion. Now I am left to continue grieving for my pet while she is lost out there somewhere. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Read Less
