DR. P and all of the Drs. and staff at Warm Springs animal hospital are wonderful! So incredibly friendly, compassionate and competent. We have been going to this animal hospital since moving to LV 3 yrs ago and we are so glad to have hit it right on the first try with a new vet. We moved here with a newly diagnosed terminally ill cat and Dr. P was able to pick up right where the last vet left off, even offering additional suggestions on ways to care for Mickey until it was the time for us to let him go a few months later. Dr. Parantala has been caring for our two "baby" cats for 7 years now. Her "bedside" manner with our cats is amazing and, she does take care to keep us informed. I love her professionalism coupled with her loving care for our pets. Dr. Lynch and Dr. "K" have treated them when Dr. "P" hasn't been available. They all do a wonderful job. And, Jackie and the rest of the office staff work so well getting us scheduled. The vet technicians are also top notch. We had to have one of our baby cats euthanized last week.. As you all know, it is a very sad and stressful event. Dr. "P" and her staff made it the most peaceful and dignified procedures I can imagine. I've been bringing my furbabies to WSAH to be seen by Dr. P for 5+ years for their healthcare needs. We absolutely miss Jackie & Dr. P since I've moved to SLC, Ut & cannot find another vet's office as WSAH has the bar set high. It's to the point I drive my furbaby in 6 1/2hrs for her annual senior exams. The compassion & customer service are far beyond anything I've ever experienced in pet care. They know my dog's are more than just a dog they are a true member of the family and want the best for them as well. The office and exam rooms are immaculate. My dog Loki and I both love Dr. Parantula, and have had totally positive experiences with Dr. Talbot as well. Recently on an emergency basis we he was treated by Dr. Lynch, and he is a gem too. The day after being seen, Dr. Lynch called to see how Loki was doing, which is a routine and comforting practice of this vet group. I truly appreciate the great availability of the vets, from early morning to evening and seven days a week. Pet emergencies don't take Wednesday afternoons off! I can't say enough about these guys! Hands down, this is the best Veterinary clinic we have ever been to. Our vet, Dr. Parantula is simply awesome. Honest with you at the time of visit and explains everything to you regarding my fur-babies conditions & treatment if any. My Labs have been cared for by Dr. Sam Lynch for the last 15 years. Where he goes, we go. Other members of his team, both at Desert Inn Animal Hospital and Warm Springs, have been great too. We have trusted this office and the vets somewhat until now. Just know that if your dog goes in for a "re-check", you want to be very clear up front if there will be a charge, even if the Dr. says it is a "follow-up" and you "won't be charged" Sad day to realize the vet will not stand by their word. Dr. Lynch has been my pets vet for over a year he was sent from heaven after a spày went wrong ( done somewhere else ). He saved my tigger, and recently another of my cats took I'll and Dr. Lynch was gone and got to meet Dr. T she is also amazing and so nice. The Dr sand staff are so attentive and loving my animals actually love going and giving kisses to everyone. I can't say enough good about this place, might not be cheapest but best care hands down. 900.00 is the price to have your pet seen at this clinic no matter what!!!Dr. Simon is the worst kind of Doctor there is. Santimonious, unprofessional and all about the money. I took my pet in because she had been sick for a few days and was not keeping food down. They looked at her and gave me a quote of $997.00. This was the second time I had brought a pet in for an emergency, the first time they charged me $900.00 to give my dog an emema. When I told them I could not afford $997 Dr. Simon told me that if I could not afford to take care of my pet then I shouldn't have pets. He then told me that by not having her treated that is was akin to animal abuse and he was going to call Animal Control to report me and have them check on my dog. I have never in my entire life been treated which such disrespect. I took my pet to another clinic later that day and my bill was only $178. I will make it my mission to tell everyone about my experence in the hopes that it makes a difference to thier bottom line. Read Less

My litle dog got bitten in the eye by a medium size dog a couple of nights ado, it was after hours so I took him to the ER at the Warm Springs Animal Hospital. At first they seemed nice until the veterinarian came into the room and wouldn:t make an attempt to touch my dog. He looked at her injured eye from far, at least 3-4 feet away and he told me that he needed to put her under anasthesia to stitcha smal puncture and to look at her eye. The assistant came back with an estimate close to $900. This estimate did not mentioned anything about checking that her eye had any internal damage. I asked the assistant about it and she became annoyed. I got a reallly bad feeling about this and told them that I didn:t want to do that. They charged me $95 for nothing and I paid it! I asked to speak with the vet and asked him why I was charged for a consultation when he didn"" t touch my dog! He said that it was his fee for looking at the dog and that was the lowest fee in town for an Emergency. I told him that it was a rip off and headed to my car, the vet followed me outside I told me that I was insane!!!! My gut feeling was right I took my dog to another Emergency hospitas at Pecos, what a difference, the staff was nice and prompt, the dr, was so to the point for treating my dog. He did not put my dog under, she didn:t need any stitches, neither they tried to rip me off. We went home after the dr took care of her eye and fortunately it was only a superficial injury. if you have an emergency with your pet DO yourself and your pet a favor DO NOT take your pet to this Warm Springs Animal Hospital. I have used this vet for several years. As far as the quality of service and care I would say it is satisfactory. Staff has been friendly when I went in. However, I will not be returning to this vet again. Service is satisfactory but not outstanding. I would say on par with a lot of other vet clinics. Other than shots I have also taken my dog to have her teeth cleaned and to be spayed (which both require putting her under with anesthesia). Anytime I had any procedure done I have always been charged more than the price I was repeatedly quoted. This is not $5-10 more but $40-60 more. You know that feeling you get when you have your wallet in your hand at checkout and you know you just got taken advantage of but there is nothing you can do about it? That happens most times I have been here. So that is why I won't be returning. My dog is my daughter and I will do anything she needs. I just don't like being taken advantage of either. One very important thing to consider when choosing any vet clinic is to make sure they are a pain free clinic for if you need any procedure done. If you do use this clinic make sure you get ALL prices in writing first. You will always be charged more than verbally quoted. Read Less

My wife and I recently took out cat in because she was not doing too well. Dr. Simon took care of our cat and she is doing much better now! The staff was very nice and so was the vet. We are going to change our vet to Warm Springs because we were very happy and because we have recently moved. I would recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

I would highly recommend taking you pets to Warm Springs Animal Hospital. I have been a client since 1895 and would never take my pets anywhere else. My family and I have moved almost 45 minutes across town and I will drive to Dr. Simon office for as long as I have a pet. Great care, friendly and understadning. Dr Simon is not a very good doctor. He rolls his eyes when told that he has a room to go into. He mistreats his employees and in turn his employees mistreat your pet. You pet will get slammed around, not fed properly, not get their toys or bed that you leave for them while boarding, among other things. He performs surgeries while the animal is awake and does not care. He also lets his employees that are not licensed to work on your pet. He is also racist. I have witnessed all of the above firsthand. If you love your pet DO NOT take them to him. Read Less
