I will take all my animals here from now on. I know most vets give amazing care to animals, but at Community Animal Hospital they seem to also care about how the owners feel.

Last spring my 4 year old male doberman was diagnosed with wobblers syndroms. He became more uncoordinated and had trouble walking at all over the summer and fall. My regular vet gave him medication and steroids, but nothing helped and she though I should put him to sleep. Out of desparation I went to Lakeside Animal Hospital to see if there was anything else we could do. The doctors there recommended acupuncture, and started him on an herbal formula. After the first treatment he was stronger! Now he walks normally and is 100%. He goes for acupuncture session now about once a month. I'm so grateful for the doctors at Lakeside Animal Hospital, they took plenty of time to discuss my options and really seemed to care about me and my dog. Read Less

My friend took my two dogs to this vet. hospital today and I called in advance telling them that the previous herbal supplements didn't help them at all and to call me after the examination to tell me what they were going to do. They didn't call me like they said they would and ended up giving my friend a $48 herbal supplement!!! That was on top of a $49 non-emergent examination fee just to take a look at ONE of my TWO dogs. I ended up with an enormous vet bill and supplements that haven't worked for them in the past and surely aren't going to work for them now. They didn't follow through on their commitment to call me before running any tests and before any perscriptions were purchased. I would strongly recommend that you go to a DIFFERENT veterinary hospital. Read Less
