We've been going to Pinion for 8 years. They are some of best group of human beings out there. The front office staff are so warm and helpful. And you can tell everyone loves their job. The vet techs are super sweet and gentle with our dogs. The doctors are knowledgeable and never suggest anything unnecessary. As long as Pinion Veterinarian Hospital is around, we'll always take our dogs here.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I have never had a worse experience with a vet. I have worked in an animal hospital and am very knowledgeable. They tried to do a surgery on my corgis knee that would fail within six months, took over five days to transfer my dogs records to the specialist to do her surgery. Now she is showing severe signs of pancreatitis and they refused to do blood work on her. She is a month out of a TPLO surgery, was vomiting, had diarrhea, and blood in her stool. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET CLINIC.

My family and I just relocated to Reno from out of state. I made an appointment for my dog to have a wellness exam and receive his regular vaccinations. I was able to be seen in a very timely manner and the cost was reasonable. They even trimmed my dogs nails (much needed) as a last minute request. What really meant a lot to me was how kind and compassionate all of the staff were. My dog gets very anxious around other animals which is a behavior that we were made to feel embarrassed of at other vet offices. It was a huge relief that the staff didn't treat my dog or I any differently, and even allowed us to wait in our vehicle to be seen so that my dog was comfortable. Thank you everyone at Pinion! We won't be going anywhere else for our vet visits!

Dr. Davenport and his staff are wonderful. They know the names of my three dogs and do all they can to make them feel calm and safe while in their care. They are always very kind and gentle to them during exams and procedures, so my pets do not fear the vet at all. On top of it all they are very reasonable and let you know what things will cost up front with out any shifty price inflation to surprise you when you check out like I have seen at other vets. This is the small town feeling vet clinic that you want your pets to be a part of, not some sterile money grubbing vet that wished they were a chain that could charge insane human doctor prices.

We had to find a new Vet for our 12 year old mixed breed dog and 2 cats because our previous vet retired. I read all the reviews all over the internet and did some research and found Pinion VH. I am so glad I did! The first time we took our dog in we found absolutely everyone in the facility to be friendly, helpful and caring - to both the 2-legged and 4-legged patients. We were kept well-informed of every step and given options that were very well explained.
I could not be more satisfied that our animals (children really) will receive excellent service and care here.

We had to find a new Vet for our 12 year old mixed breed dog and 2 cats because our previous vet retired. I read all the reviews all over the internet and did some research and found Pinion VH. I am so glad I did! The first time we took our dog in we found absolutely everyone in the facility to be friendly, helpful and caring - to both the 2-legged and 4-legged patients. We were kept well-informed of every step and given options that were very well explained.
I could not be more satisfied that our animals (children really) will receive excellent service and care here.

We've been going to Pinion for 8 years. They are some of best group of human beings out there. The front office staff are so warm and helpful. And you can tell everyone loves their job. The vet techs are super sweet and gentle with our dogs. The doctors are knowledgeable and never suggest anything unnecessary. As long as Pinion Veterinarian Hospital is around, we'll always take our dogs here.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I have never had a worse experience with a vet. I have worked in an animal hospital and am very knowledgeable. They tried to do a surgery on my corgis knee that would fail within six months, took over five days to transfer my dogs records to the specialist to do her surgery. Now she is showing severe signs of pancreatitis and they refused to do blood work on her. She is a month out of a TPLO surgery, was vomiting, had diarrhea, and blood in her stool. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET CLINIC.

My family and I just relocated to Reno from out of state. I made an appointment for my dog to have a wellness exam and receive his regular vaccinations. I was able to be seen in a very timely manner and the cost was reasonable. They even trimmed my dogs nails (much needed) as a last minute request.
