Thru the years, I have taken numerous pets to a Veterinarian, from Salisbury, Mass, Amesbury, Mass, Newburyport, Mass, No. Hampton, but for at least 4 or 5 years I have been taking MT small McCaw to Greenland Veterian in Greenland, NH and I couldn't be happier. As well as my Parrott. There treatments are very good and they treat her like she was their own pet. She loves going they and doesn't want to leave. I would recommend them to everyone.

They were able to see my dog within 30 minutes of me calling, even though we weren't a patient. Their approach with my fearful pup had her completely at ease. They explained everything in detail, down to why they wanted to run specific bloodwork. Will definitely be making them my regular vet.

We were customers of Greenland Vet for about 5 years. We were always skeptical about how much they tried to push on us and what we thought were unneeded (and very costly) tests and treatments for our pets. We eventually had enough when they suggested a test that made no sense for the symptoms our cat had, especially after our own research. We aren't the experts of course, but it just seemed ridiculous and like the test didn't fit the case and symptoms. Whenever we would ask and question them about why these things were being suggested we felt like we got the run around of excuses. Things never felt right. So on this most recent (and probably 20th incident), we said to ourselves "the result is probably going to come back negative and if it does we are gone". Sure enough, we got the call that the result was negative. After years of this pattern, we were finally convinced they're not for us and felt like we were just being milked for money while they tugged at our heart strings to get it out of us. So we left. They are very friendly and good with the animals, but seem rather impractical and inaccurate in the procedures, tests, and treatments they suggest and do. Very costly overall. We've also at times felt guilted and pressured by them into doing these things, we had gotten phrases like "well I guess you just need to search your heart for your decision". We just had enough of that and enough of the (arguably unneeded) costs.

In addition, the facilities are modern and clean and the online scheduling is extremely convenient. The points/rewards system is definitely worth enrolling in. Love it here!

The good, nice employees and clean clinic. Now to the rest, they are unable to answer questions when we asked about our English Labs on more than one occasion, not well trained vets. They constantly suggest/conduct tests that are completely unnecessary, then when you ask them about the tests they state they suggest them and basically make you feel you have to do them for the health of your pet. They overcharge for everything they do, tests, exams, meds and treatments. I asked them to match the pricing of my dogs heartworm and flea & tick treatment, and they simply stated they can't, yet every vet I've gone to for the last 20 years always has. Bottom line if you want to feel like you're going to a slimy used car lot this is the place for you, if you love your pets and want sound veterinary care at reasonable prices run!

I have been going to Greenland Vet for 3 years with my Severe Maccaw. I have been to other vets when I had a dog and 3 cats who were OK, but Greenland Vet is the best. They are all very caring, friendly and sensitive to my birds needs. She loves going there and sometimes I believe she doesn't want to leave. I have seen some negative reviews, but don't believe for one minute what they wrote.

Dr. Hale is really amazing! She always gets to the root cause of our pets' problems. One of our cats had some health problems when we adopted him so we have been in quite a few times to get him all sorted out and feeling better. Olivia and Emily and everyone treat him well and are gentle with him because he never makes a fuss about going back and he's cool as a cucumber when we pick him up. We are very grateful to have found this place.

We had used Greenland veterinary for many years during the life span of our cat. We had always been skeptical regarding the number of tests order. When our cat was 18 years old and had a number of issues failing instead of taking the position she was 18 years old and had lived a good life they continued to push all the tests that could be done while she was failing. This turned what was already a horrible decision to put her down into an unconscionable nightmare.Stay away!

Took my rabbit here when he was sick since they have a trained "exotic" animal vet on staff. The staff was absolutely amazing and welcoming! The vet was fantastic and was very upfront with us about our options and the cost of each different option; we truly appreciated this as we could decide the best course of treatment that we felt was right for our pet. I called the next day to follow up with a question and they immediately knew who I was without me even telling them. You can tell they are truly invested in caring for pets and take the time to know their patients!

Worst choice I ever made. They are only interested in scoffing every possible dollar out of you. The place is old, small, poorly equipped and obviously the owner doesn't work there. She just collects the money. When we had to make the decision to euthanize our beloved cat, our bill was already over $500. We wanted to be able to hold her while she was put to sleep but we were told that would cost an additional $100. just to be present! Ludicrous! This place is part of a chain and only interested in your money, not your pet.

The vets here are super-aggressive when it comes to recommending treatment. The treatments are expensive, even with their complicated points/rewards plan. You have to hold your ground if you dont want to bankrupt yourself treating Fluffy's sniffles. Its an awkward and frustrating position to be in.

We absolutely love Greenland Veterinary Hospital. I moved to New Hampshire almost 5 years ago and traveled there for routine exams. One day my senior diabetic cat had an emergency and Greenland took us right in. I was thrilled with the care and love he was given by Dr. Giusto so much so that we switched all of our pets to GVH and we couldn't be happier. The staff is amazing and we absolutely love Dr. Giusto and Dr. Hale.

I'm a worried pet momma thats tried many vets and haven't been satisfied and after my vet closed I didn't think I'd ever find another with the care and compassion he had. I'm thrilled to say after calling around to 5 vets and the receptionists not being friendly I chose Greenland to bring my dog Maya to and I'm glad I did. All the receptionists, vets to vet techs are so nice and welcoming and kept me updated all throughout my pups dental surgery on not only how she was doing but cost also. Maya is feeling 100% since and the vet even sent a card to us welcoming us to the practice. We've finally found our new vet for our 4 pets! Thanks again!

I literally just got back from my appointment with GVH and was blown away by their incredible hospitality. My kitties Schatzi and Sweet Pea were fawned over and taken care of by the amazing staff, and I was delightfully surprised with the goody bags they gave us at the end of the exam/treatment. I will be recommending them to my friends in the area with much enthusiasm! Thanks for making not only my cats' first visit to the vet pleasant, but mine as well! I was a nervous kitty mama, but you all eased my worries and I know they'll be in good hands each visit :) Thank you so much!

I've been going to Greenland for about 2 years for my adult cat. My cat has some minor, but recurring health issues. As of now, they are unresolved, but I am definitely a fan of this veterinary clinic. I think their staff is friendly and compassionate. They sincerely care about my cat which is great. Any time my cat had to go and stay for the day for testing etc., they always provided a written detail of the costs associated with the tests, procedures, and medications. I always felt that they were genuinely concerned for the well-being of my cat and tried to provide me with the most accurate and non-biased information so that I could make the most educated decisions about my cat's health care. I think that their costs are comparable to any other veterinary clinic. My biggest compliment is that they never made me feel guilty about not being able to afford to run every test, or exam, and never pressured me to do something I wasn't comfortable with. Thank you, Greenland Vets!!

They blatantly overcharge and don't inform you of the (ridiculous) costs of things before they do them. Everywhere I've looked the 4oz ear drops they gave me are $9.99. I was charged $20.39 which if this were fair and honest would have gotten me 16oz. What was especially insulting was $49.54 for a de-worming where his previous treatment from another vet was $10. Then they charged me $30 to look at a swab under a scope. They don't inform you of the costs beforehand and if you've ever worked with a reasonable vet the things they would do are things I'm familiar with are 1/3 the price they charge at Greenland. I'd be blindsided the insane bill I'd be slapped with at the end. In 3 weeks I was charged nearly $400 dollars for basic puppy care and check ups. A reasonable vet charged less than half of that for all of the same things. They are very good with animals and I adored the interaction they had with my puppy but just because I wanted the best for my dog they took advantage of me. Unless you enjoy paying three times what things should cost you should honestly save your money and stay away.

Words have yet to be invented that describe how wonderful the entire staff is at GVH ... Not only did they get my kitty (as a new patient) in the same day I called but they treated us with the utmost care and concern.. (My PREVIOUS vet couldn't see her for a couple of days) ... Today on a follow up visit they went above and beyond and surprised me with their over the top kindness and generosity!! You see Mercury my cat is actually my son Alex's cat.. And he is serving in the US Navy ... This inspired the entire staff to make him a care package and one for Mercury as well, But they didn't stop there ... They also have started a care package for our K9 friends who are also serving. It is full of toys, treats, medicine, and necessities that are needed for a variety of climates. To the entire staff I cannot thank you enough. You indeed are the very best and I am truly touched by all that you have done for my family and for the military working dog families who will receive your very generous gifts!

I love the staff! Wonderful people who know what they're doing. Treated us really wonderfully but when I got a quote of nearly $3k for dental work I had to get a second opinion. Found another vet who will do it for less than $1k and were just as good as GVH. I hate to say it but I feel swindled. I didn't think they were the type to do it. I know you have to make money but to get that much of a price difference is insane. I'm not ruling them out completely because they are really great with animals but their prices scare me away.

I've been taking my cats to Greenland Animal Hospital for a year now and couldn't be happier. GAH actually worked in conjunction with the rescue organization that was fostering our cats before adoption and they remembered both cats the first time we brought them in. It felt like they had a vested interest in how the cats were doing. Good start.The staff is friendly and warm, vet techs and doc's are knowledgable and proactive, prices are totally reasonable and it's a small operation so you never feel rushed and it's always a pleasant and personal experience. Love this joint.

Dr. Hale is so wonderful, very calm and gentle with all of my animals (cats and mice). The whole staff is so welcoming and lovely and I’ve never seen any veterinary office so excited to see my pets!
In addition, the facilities are modern and clean and the online scheduling is extremely convenient. The points/rewards system is definitely worth enrolling in. Love it here!

We have been coming to Greenland vet for a few years now, Dr. Hale is always so kind and knowledgeable, as soon as we walk in everyone greets you and genuinely cars for your pet. Highly recommend !

The good, nice employees and clean clinic. Now to the rest, they are unable to answer questions when we asked about our English Labs on more than one occasion, not well trained vets. They constantly suggest/conduct tests that are completely unnecessary, then when you ask them about the tests they state they suggest them and basically make you feel you have to do them for the health of your pet. They overcharge for everything they do, tests, exams, meds and treatments. I asked them to match the pricing of my dogs heartworm and flea & tick treatment, and they simply stated they can't, yet every vet I've gone to for the last 20 years always has. Bottom line if you want to feel like you're going to a slimy used car lot this is the place for you, if you love your pets and want sound veterinary care at reasonable prices run!

I have been going to Greenland Vet for 3 years with my Severe Maccaw. I have been to other vets when I had a dog and 3 cats who were OK, but Greenland Vet is the best. They are all very caring, friendly and sensitive to my birds needs. She loves going there and sometimes I believe she doesn't want to leave. I have seen some negative reviews, but don't believe for one minute what they wrote.

Dr. Hale is really amazing! She always gets to the root cause of our pets' problems. One of our cats had some health problems when we adopted him so we have been in quite a few times to get him all sorted out and feeling better. Olivia and Emily and everyone treat him well and are gentle with him because he never makes a fuss about going back and he's cool as a cucumber when we pick him up. We are very grateful to have found this place.

We had used Greenland veterinary for many years during the life span of our cat. We had always been skeptical regarding the number of tests order. When our cat was 18 years old and had a number of issues failing instead of taking the position she was 18 years old and had lived a good life they continued to push all the tests that could be done while she was failing. This turned what was already a horrible decision to put her down into an unconscionable nightmare.Stay away!

Took my rabbit here when he was sick since they have a trained "exotic" animal vet on staff. The staff was absolutely amazing and welcoming! The vet was fantastic and was very upfront with us about our options and the cost of each different option; we truly appreciated this as we could decide the best course of treatment that we felt was right for our pet. I called the next day to follow up with a question and they immediately knew who I was without me even telling them. You can tell they are truly invested in caring for pets and take the time to know their patients!

Great, helpful staff and my dogs are always well cared for. With any vet experience, it is always helpful to discuss cost prior to care. They are always up front when you ask to be informed of all aspects of their decisions on care from cost through tests, medications, etc. My dogs are always happy to go there.

Worst choice I ever made. They are only interested in scoffing every possible dollar out of you. The place is old, small, poorly equipped and obviously the owner doesn't work there. She just collects the money. When we had to make the decision to euthanize our beloved cat, our bill was already over $500. We wanted to be able to hold her while she was put to sleep but we were told that would cost an additional $100. just to be present! Ludicrous! This place is part of a chain and only interested in your money, not your pet.

The vets here are super-aggressive when it comes to recommending treatment. The treatments are expensive, even with their complicated points/rewards plan. You have to hold your ground if you dont want to bankrupt yourself treating Fluffy's sniffles. Its an awkward and frustrating position to be in.

We absolutely love Greenland Veterinary Hospital. I moved to New Hampshire almost 5 years ago and traveled there for routine exams. One day my senior diabetic cat had an emergency and Greenland took us right in. I was thrilled with the care and love he was given by Dr. Giusto so much so that we switched all of our pets to GVH and we couldn't be happier. The staff is amazing and we absolutely love Dr. Giusto and Dr. Hale.

I'm a worried pet momma thats tried many vets and haven't been satisfied and after my vet closed I didn't think I'd ever find another with the care and compassion he had. I'm thrilled to say after calling around to 5 vets and the receptionists not being friendly I chose Greenland to bring my dog Maya to and I'm glad I did. All the receptionists, vets to vet techs are so nice and welcoming and kept me updated all throughout my pups dental surgery on not only how she was doing but cost also. Maya is feeling 100% since and the vet even sent a card to us welcoming us to the practice. We've finally found our new vet for our 4 pets! Thanks again!

I literally just got back from my appointment with GVH and was blown away by their incredible hospitality. My kitties Schatzi and Sweet Pea were fawned over and taken care of by the amazing staff, and I was delightfully surprised with the goody bags they gave us at the end of the exam/treatment. I will be recommending them to my friends in the area with much enthusiasm! Thanks for making not only my cats' first visit to the vet pleasant, but mine as well! I was a nervous kitty mama, but you all eased my worries and I know they'll be in good hands each visit :) Thank you so much!

I've been going to Greenland for about 2 years for my adult cat. My cat has some minor, but recurring health issues. As of now, they are unresolved, but I am definitely a fan of this veterinary clinic. I think their staff is friendly and compassionate. They sincerely care about my cat which is great. Any time my cat had to go and stay for the day for testing etc., they always provided a written detail of the costs associated with the tests, procedures, and medications. I always felt that they were genuinely concerned for the well-being of my cat and tried to provide me with the most accurate and non-biased information so that I could make the most educated decisions about my cat's health care. I think that their costs are comparable to any other veterinary clinic. My biggest compliment is that they never made me feel guilty about not being able to afford to run every test, or exam, and never pressured me to do something I wasn't comfortable with. Thank you, Greenland Vets!!

They blatantly overcharge and don't inform you of the (ridiculous) costs of things before they do them. Everywhere I've looked the 4oz ear drops they gave me are $9.99. I was charged $20.39 which if this were fair and honest would have gotten me 16oz. What was especially insulting was $49.54 for a de-worming where his previous treatment from another vet was $10. Then they charged me $30 to look at a swab under a scope. They don't inform you of the costs beforehand and if you've ever worked with a reasonable vet the things they would do are things I'm familiar with are 1/3 the price they charge at Greenland. I'd be blindsided the insane bill I'd be slapped with at the end. In 3 weeks I was charged nearly $400 dollars for basic puppy care and check ups. A reasonable vet charged less than half of that for all of the same things. They are very good with animals and I adored the interaction they had with my puppy but just because I wanted the best for my dog they took advantage of me. Unless you enjoy paying three times what things should cost you should honestly save your money and stay away.

Words have yet to be invented that describe how wonderful the entire staff is at GVH ... Not only did they get my kitty (as a new patient) in the same day I called but they treated us with the utmost care and concern.. (My PREVIOUS vet couldn't see her for a couple of days) ... Today on a follow up visit they went above and beyond and surprised me with their over the top kindness and generosity!! You see Mercury my cat is actually my son Alex's cat.. And he is serving in the US Navy ... This inspired the entire staff to make him a care package and one for Mercury as well, But they didn't stop there ... They also have started a care package for our K9 friends who are also serving. It is full of toys, treats, medicine, and necessities that are needed for a variety of climates. To the entire staff I cannot thank you enough. You indeed are the very best and I am truly touched by all that you have done for my family and for the military working dog families who will receive your very generous gifts!

I love the staff! Wonderful people who know what they're doing. Treated us really wonderfully but when I got a quote of nearly $3k for dental work I had to get a second opinion. Found another vet who will do it for less than $1k and were just as good as GVH. I hate to say it but I feel swindled. I didn't think they were the type to do it. I know you have to make money but to get that much of a price difference is insane. I'm not ruling them out completely because they are really great with animals but their prices scare me away.

I've been taking my cats to Greenland Animal Hospital for a year now and couldn't be happier. GAH actually worked in conjunction with the rescue organization that was fostering our cats before adoption and they remembered both cats the first time we brought them in. It felt like they had a vested interest in how the cats were doing. Good start.The staff is friendly and warm, vet techs and doc's are knowledgable and proactive, prices are totally reasonable and it's a small operation so you never feel rushed and it's always a pleasant and personal experience. Love this joint.
