Thank you for the excellent care that was offered to my Dog Mario yesterday. I arrived at the veterinary office with my broken heart. because my 15 year old Mario Dog was very sick with diarrhea that did not stop. the staff of the clinic were very friendly and attentive. the doctor evaluated Mario and prescribed some medications. Everyone I have encountered at this Vet clinic has exceptionally empathetic and helpful. They are great about getting your pet in right away if they are sick. My cat is notoriously difficult to get into a carrier and Thai has caused us to be late for more than one appointment. They are always very understanding of this. After my at was diagnosed with with a disease, the vet spent 40 minutes on the phone with me (after normal business hours) explaining the ins and outs of the illness and reviewing possible treatment options. All staff members are very friendly AND knowledgeable, which is just so helpful when you are stressed about having a sick pet. You can really tell that everyone who works there loves animals and really care about what they are doing. It's a great feeling to know that your pet is in such good hands. Staff are very friendly.  It's hard to find a vet knowledgeable in small animals.  The Dr. is very knowledgeable in guinea pigs.  Honestly the only thing bad I can say is parking stinks so go early to your appt. Read Less

If I could give this place 0 stars I would have my dog was scratching so much and I called them because my vet was closed just to get an opinion and on the phone the doctor was telling me it was probably a skin infection and an ear infection she made it seem so serious and was acting surprised that I haven't brought my dog in anywhere yet since it started happening a few days ago. I went in there and it was a total rip off the doctor was so rude and I told her that my,dog had an ear infection in the past but I told her I couldn't remember the name of it and she just looked at me and said well that doesn't help me at all does it. Well excuse me for not remembering about a name of ear drops since it happened 3 years ago. She was so incompassionate being very rough with my dog I was fuming inside then she said oh it's just allergies after she proceeded to tell me on the phone it was a bad infection. Then they tried charging me for swabs done that I didn't even have done this place is just the worst place I have ever been too so rude they're not compassionate just one word answers they didn't explain anything to me at all and they definitely are money hungry and will do absolutely anything they can to charge you more absolutely ridiculous this place,really urked me I cannot believe it Read Less

After having a terrible experience somewhere else and reading great reviews about Dr. Komma I decided to bring my 9 year old beagle in for a visit. He had been diagnosed with suspected crushing's and I was searching for a second opinion. At the visit Dr. Komma again agreed that she believed it was Cushing's. However, she would re-run his blood work again, and suggested we schedule an ultrasound.  Up until this point..I was happy with the visit. She then proceeded to call over to the previous vet to clear up some things (good sign). She proceeded to then discuss CANCER with the other vet before even mentioning the word to me, my heart sank. Why wouldn't she mention it to me before having to hear her talk on the phone about the possibility?! She then took my dog into the back and did an exam which caused him to howl in excruciating pain. After bringing him back to me she then confirmed the ultrasound date and briefly said the word cancer. While sitting in the waiting room. What kind of professional even mentions such a thing in a WAITING room. Perhaps the exam room is more appropriate. Flash forward 2 days & she calls with the blood results. His liver enzymes were high, and things had changed since his last blood work...I was very concerned but she assured me that we had made the right decision to go for the ultrasound. Dr. Komma also assured me that "It is okay to wait until Wednesday, the pet won't die in 3 days" . My dog stopped eating & drinking that night & died the next day.  As for staff, the vet tech I had & older woman who worked the desk were very nice. However, Brittinie and Ashley? could not be any less compassionate. When calling in to check on euthanasia services they were giggling, GIGGLING. Like this is something funny. Also, they also do not know how to read estimates that they themselves put together and send to patients. Beware- If you are looking for a compassionate place to bring your sick furbabies look elsewhere. There are some great vets out there I'm sure, I just haven't found one yet Read Less

This has to be the worst place I have ever brought my animal. I have always had animals and decided to take a new approach to veterinary care. I brought my new kitten to this place and he had already had ear mites. They told me that his infestation wasn't very bad despite all the debris from his ears. They went through a list of vaccinations that they wanted to give him in the next few months, literally after saying they do not like to fill up on vaccinations. She spoke to me about changing his diet to real food and that they would educate me on dental care since it would be required more so without a hard food diet(which they equalized to pop tarts, which I obviously wasnt wanting to give him after) and they never actually spoke about it. The office visit was almost 200.00.  Since this visit my cat has developed an absess in his mouth. Every time I call the staff is rude, and they like to have conversations about how 'ridiculous' they think their customers are, which I found out later.I called to speak to someone about all the issues he is accumulating since his visit, and the doctor explained it was my fault for pushing back his appointment a week due to my recent hospitalizations a downward spiraling health of my own. When I disregarded who arrogant opinion, I expressed my irritation about the $50.00 I spent on unnecessary pro biotics that they made me believe were imperative. I drove an hour to get them though I didn't feel that they were good at the time, and administered. He stopped eating for 3 days, so I took him off. When I told this to the doctor, not only did she cut me off every chance she got, but she suggested that me taking his records was a good idea.If u are looking for caring, experienced knowledgeable care, I DO NOT recommend going here. They are rude, and really do not care about much more than money here. I have established care somewhere else and I am looking forward the them treating all the issues that have arisen from this place, and the issues that the doctor here hasn't been able to fix in almost a month. I can not express how happy I am to have found this place!! I have 3 dogs and was very unhappy with the quality of care they were receiving at their Nashua vet. I randomly chose Lowell Rd Veterinary to see if it was any different or if they were the same and I was blown away! Night and day. They were genuinely compassionate and their best interest was for my dogs, not performing unecessary tests to rack up the bill. Dr. Komma and her staff are caring and compassionate. Dr. Komma was very compassionate recently after I found out our beloved cat of 16 years had some health issues. I left this practice when Dr. McAroy, (who clearly did not like cats,) was very impatient with our family cat. I left this practice for Dr. Dan's Acorn Veterinary Hospital. Sadly, Dr. Dan passed away. I was very relieved to know that Dr. McAroy left Lowell Road, and Dr. Komma had bought the practice. My family and I have been bringing my pets to this facility since I was a young girl and Dr. Lawson was the owner. Dr. Komma is very knowledgeable and caring to my 2 year old dog and my 2- 4 year old cats. She understands the high cost of taking care of pets and does not jump to high cost procedures first, like other vets I've experienced, unless there is no other alternative. we had seen Dr.Komma twice now , we are new to the area and couldn't decided on a vet to take Ethel to , we called Dr.Komma's office took her in for her rabies as we rescued ethel and she did such a good job with ethel as i was so nervous , our second visit was today for some help and DR. Dr. Komma and her staff have taken such great care of my cats. They've recently enjoyed a five day stay boarding with them and they seemed to have enjoyed themselves. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. They will misdiagnose your pet so they can milk money out of you and then refer you to a "specialist" who will charge almost $200 just to walk in the door! When asking what their policy is on refunding money because they clearly misdiagnosed not 1 but 2 of my animals Robin told me she was going to call the cops on me. What???? For asking what their policy is on refunding money for being wrong 2 times?! Never ever bringing my pets here again. They also went as far as having a family member of mine sign a letter stating they would hold their payment until Thursday and then they cashed it the same day anyway!!! I should have listened when 4 people who have never met each other all told me that this place was horrible and not to take my dog there. It was close to my home and I figured I would try it, and so I did. Each time I brought my dog there it was a nightmare. The doctor is rude to both owner and animal, his diagnosis were always incorrect, he does not even seem to like animals and their prices are 3x higher than everywhere else.
