My one year old dog, Forrest, recently gave us a scare when he had a suspected allergic reaction after coming in from our yard late Sunday evening. Within seconds he was paralyzed, drooling, and his gum had turned completely white. We were in the car within minutes, once on our way I called the hospital to give them a heads up we were coming. I knew exactly where this location was, because I previously had been there with my older dog for cushings testing. Once we arrived a tech met us in the lobby and quickly took my dog back while the receptionist gathered all of our information. The doctor came out to let us know his vitals were stable, what they suspected was going on, and to discuss his plan of care (blood work) and the cost of it before doing anything without our consent. Luckily Forrest stabilized, he received fluids, a Benadryl injection, and a prescription to continue at home. The reception staff and the physician could not have been more pleasant, especially in such a stressful situation. There was an issue with their Care Credit machine when we went to check out that they could not process our payment, luckily they were able to see we had credit available on the card and allowed us to come back the next day to finalize the payment. They also did a follow-up phone call 2 days later to see how Forrest was doing. I am so thankful to have this place close to home, I am not sure what would have happened if we hadn't been able to bring him there for such good service. Read Less
