Holistic Medicine means treating the root of an illness. Most sickness is caused by poor diet, stress, over medicating or a combination of those factors. The best way to treat an animal is naturally, with as little use of potentially dangerous drugs as possible. We work with clients to create a care plan that covers your pet's entire lifestyle. At Clayton and Churchtown Vet, we believe prevention is the best form of medicine.

I have a 7 year old Biewer Terrier who since he was a puppy had these weird episodes, he would have violent shakes, collapse, followed by extreme vomiting and diarrhea.  As he got older the episodes got worse.  I took him to many traditional vets, many blood work , xrays taken and no solution to his problem. The vets sent me home all the time with metronidazole (antibiotic) for the diarrhea.  One vet wanted to do extensive testing and surgery.  I ran quickly from that office.I began seeing Dr. Morgan's show, and took a chance to have a telephone consultation since I do not live near where she has her practice.  I have to say that is the best decision I made for my little fur baby.  He is episode free and so much healthier and happier.  Words can not express my gratitude and admiration I have for Dr. Morgan. We can not thank Dr. Judy Morgan and all of the other Drs. Enough for their knowledge, patience, and understanding when it comes to myself and my dog Aurora! They literally saved my dogs life by detoxing her years ago after other vets wanted to keep giving her more medications and more things that were making her sick. They listened to my concerns and knew exactly what to do for my dog! My dog not only thrived under their care but has had ZERO allergie issues and GI upset since bringing her to them. They really know what they're talking about! I recently brought her in because she was peeing blood and I was very worried about her and they got me in right away! Needless to say they answered all of my questions and sent me home feeling much better about the situation! I also as an obedience dog trainer, and the owner of T.A.S.K Dog Training, I highly recommend their office to all of my clients, and will always recommend their office! I am a lifetime client! I also can not thank their office enough for the referrals they've sent me as well for training! Clayton Veterinary Associates you ROCK!!!Read Less

Very sad afternoon, we had to put down our beloved dog, Yossi, after 14 & half years of companionship and joy. so many stories and good times. Failing health in last few weeks. We let him go with dignity. He was a terrific family member and friend to everyone. Loved children. Many will remember calling our home and hearing him bark at ups and postman whenever they would drive to our house to pickup or deliver to Linda's online yarn business. Uncanny how he would sense the trucks with closed doors and windows. He would be upstairs on our bed hit the floor with a thud, then scamper down a flight of 14 steps and bark at front door or side window. All the years Linda had high quality yarns sitting on floor in bags, he never touched them or chewed them. He would bark at most people coming into house, except Bud H. Darlene A. & Leslie S. - always cuddled to them for their loving strokes. Younger years would tinkle on floor when Robin would visit and peed on his lap for sitting in his chair. We loved him as if a child. leaving a big hole in our hearts. A special thanks to Dr Judy Morgan and her staff at Clayton Vet. Ctr. For almost 13 years of providing excellent care and advice for sustaining Yossi's health while we resided in Clayton. DR Morgan's holistic approach regarding nutrition and wellness for our pet was an important learning curve in our household, one which we continued here in Florida.Read Less

So now i gotta pay all over for fixing him which runs around 650. Dr anthony was good but id never give business to ice queen again upon telling new vet what happened they and 3 other vets told me they gave my dog an anthesia that isnt a good choice for danes. You NEED to have blood levels checked for phenobarb because toxicity is really common with the drug. It happens very quickly and you need to make sure the dog's body is metabolizing it properly. It would be negligent for a veterinarian to prescribe the medication without current labs. This shows that they are excellent vets and aren't willing to let clients bully them into doing something that isn't in the pet's best interest. If you can't afford the vet, you can't afford the pet. A difficult decision should be made if you can't afford to treat a pet's chronic medical condition: do you euthanize or do you find rescue placement. Treating the condition haphazardly is worse than quickly and painlessly ending the animal's life. Read Less

I received nothing but great care and compassion whenever we used their services. When it came time to put down our beloved Lucy, they showed us a degree of compassion I've only seen from only one other vet. When deciding when and how, we were presented with many options that were left for us to choose. Never were their preferences pushed on us. Preceeding that day, all treatments available preceeding her death were shown to us and not once were we recommended to follow a long road of costly treatments that would only have prolonged her pain. Nothing they did for us ever indicated their only interest was in making a buck.Very few businesses have a 100% batting average and I'm sure Clayton Vets have had their problems but I have no reserve taking any of my pets there. I would never again take my animals to Clayton Vets as long as Dr. Morgan owns it. Sadly I found out first hand that she really has little regard or compassion for the animals but has lots of regard for money. We took our dog to her since he was a puppy, and have literally spent thousands of dollars there on visits, dentals, surgeries, food and everything we needed to do to keep him healthy. We have never asked for any special treatment or favors. However at 121/2 years old our little buddy became quite ill and was in the office quite often. It became clear that he was nearing the end of his life. Our preference was that we could keep him comfortable and hopefully he could "go to sleep" at home. Finally, he stopped eating. I spoke to an associate doc on Tuesday who was very nice. On Wednesday I called as we were agonizing about whether or not we should put our sweet guy down or not. I asked the office if they could do a minor lab test to see if his kidneys had shut down and if just this one time it would be ok if we paid them on Friday which was only 36 hours away. After taking abuse from their financial person (Pam) Dr. Morgan herself called me to tell me that she "was not a bank" and that perhaps I should apply for a care card ro something which is normally reserved for high dollar sugeries and such. When I reminded her of our 121/2 relationship and that our little dog was dying, she was unmoved. How much was this lab test you might ask? $68.00. I totally respect having policies in place to keep your business afloat, but $68.00 for 36 hours from a good client who's dog is dying? I'm sorry Dr. Morgan is a sorry example of anyone claiming to have a love of animals. Please say a prayer for my little guy. He will be seeing a real vet tomorrow. Read Less

We took him to emergency and there he was declared dead. These "vets" said he had probably had a stroke or a blood clot. So everything had NOT gone "fine". If you want this horror story to happen to your pet, we highly recommend Clayton Veterinarian Associates. Read Less

I have never had a negative issue with anyone at Clayton. I have been to several vets in South Jersey, and thus far, they have been the best and most consistent. I am not sure why someone was complaining about their service as I have never had anyone treat me negatively there. I have three cats and go there frequently. I have called for questions and services and was never given the runaround.Read Less

Never again randy and cindy are great. Receptionist starting with a "s" not so much. My dane went to get fixed. They said during anthesia his heart had murmurs n stopped at one point they said bad heart well this morgan lady was miserable and cold hearted in my opinion well i went to different vet and many tests later i was told heart was perfect. So now i gotta pay all over for fixing him which runs around 650. Dr anthony was good but id never give business to ice queen again upon telling new vet what happened they and 3 other vets told me they gave my dog an anthesia that isnt a good choice for danes. Ive talked to many people about morgan amd heard other crazy stories. Best wishes and thanks to cindy that day and randy asnwering so many of my questions. Dr anthony was good but as long as morgan is there i wont be. Read Less

I came to this vet a few weeks ago when my dog hurt his back. Our regular vet put him on steroids and muscle relaxers but they weren't working. I wanted to try something different and I wasn't disappointed.  They are a very caring facility.  They took him right in and used chiropractic and laser treatment.  My dog was great the next day!  They called to check up on him and sent me a thank you card in the mail.  I really appreciate what they have done for my little guy and will continue to bring him here Read Less

Read Less
