We had to make an extremely difficult decision for our one little guy, Sundae. It was heart wrenching, we had him for over 12 years. The staff were extremely professional and provided us the facts in an extremely gentle manner and allowed us the time to settle on the decision. There was no pressure to do anything really. There was a lot of phone conversations and crying (at my end). I can't thank them enough for walking through this with us. I still cry every day and miss our little guy. He was silly and had a big personality but he was suffering more than he was showing or maybe what I was allowing myself to see/believe. I have opted to paint a portrait of him as a way to heal and journal at the same time.

I've been taking my 4 cats to Spruce Run Veterinary Hospital for 7 years. I've always received excellent advise and care for all of my pets at this Hospital. Recently I had one of my cats undergo surgery here and he recovered quickly from the surgery, because the surgery went very well. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire staff at Spruce Run Veterinary Hospital.

My father in-law- brought his nervous and difficult to handle cat Puddin Head in today for a procedure. I am a vet in Ohio and obviously too far away to help. He told me he was very impressed with the staff's kindness and ability to handle a difficult cat. Puddin got great care and was very happy! Not only did they do a nice job on her procedure but also looked out for her future care by doing a blood work panel and vaccinating her. Sorry to say it has been several Terrible experiences. I have been lied too, mislead and over charged. They said I could make payments over the phone and denied ever saying that after the visit. Anoth...
Sorry to say it has been several Terrible experiences. I have been lied too, mislead and over charged. They said I could make payments over the phone and denied ever saying that after the visit. Another time they hit me with a 600 dollar bill when the quote was 325. The last straw was when we brought out pet in for a small wound on its back and they said rabies might be involved because the source of the wound is unknown(understandable). Then said it would be safest to euthanize the animal... Or start expensive rabies treatment. That was my options. I went elsewhere at that time and they cleaned the wound and he has been happy living on with us.

We've been using Spruce Run Vet for years and have always been happy with the service our two dogs have received. We also used them for a cancer surgery on the older one. It went perfectly and all pulled through without complaint. My only caution is be sure your pets are leashed before opening the car door. The office is right on Rt. 31 in a busy section.

I have been going to Spruce Run Veterinary Hospital with my mother and her pets for years. As I got my own two cats it was only natural that I would bring them both here. The experience for me has always been positive, and the entire staff is fantastic to work with. Recently one of my cats got sick and I called Spruce Run Veterinary Hospital to schedule an appointment. They were able to get me in the same day and not only took care of my cat's issues, but also went to great lengths to make sure that I understood the severity of the situation. Dr. Rogolsky is so wonderful and truly cares for each of her patients as though they are her own. Thanks to her unique approach, my cat is steadily getting better each day. In all, I would urge anyone reading this review to go to Spruce Run Veterinary Hospital (even if you have to drive a distance!). The consistency of care and kind staff will make you and your furry (or not so furry) friends feel extremely welcomed. Thank you Spruce Run Veterinary Hospital! (and a special thanks to Dr. Rogolsky!)

We had to make an extremely difficult decision for our one little guy, Sundae. It was heart wrenching, we had him for over 12 years. The staff were extremely professional and provided us the facts in an extremely gentle manner and allowed us the time to settle on the decision. There was no pressure to do anything really. There was a lot of phone conversations and crying (at my end). I can't thank them enough for walking through this with us. I still cry every day and miss our little guy. He was silly and had a big personality but he was suffering more than he was showing or maybe what I was allowing myself to see/believe. I've been taking my 4 cats to Spruce Run Veterinary Hospital for 7 years. I've always received excellent advise and care for all of my pets at this Hospital. Recently I had one of my cats undergo surgery here and he recovered quickly from the surgery, because the surgery went very well. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire staff at Spruce Run Veterinary Hospital.

My father in-law- brought his nervous and difficult to handle cat Puddin Head in today for a procedure. I am a vet in Ohio and obviously too far away to help. He told me he was very impressed with the staff's kindness and ability to handle a difficult cat. Puddin got great care and was very happy! Not only did they do a nice job on her procedure but also looked out for her future care by doing a blood work panel and vaccinating her. Sorry to say it has been several Terrible experiences. I have been lied too, mislead and over charged. They said I could make payments over the phone and denied ever saying that after the visit. We've been using Spruce Run Vet for years and have always been happy with the service our two dogs have received. We also used them for a cancer surgery on the older one. It went perfectly and all pulled through without complaint. My only caution is be sure your pets are leashed before opening the car door. The office is right on Rt. 31 in a busy section.

I have been going to Spruce Run Veterinary Hospital with my mother and her pets for years. As I got my own two cats it was only natural that I would bring them both here. The experience for me has always been positive, and the entire staff is fantastic to work with. Recently one of my cats got sick and I called Spruce Run Veterinary Hospital to schedule an appointment. They were able to get me in the same day and not only took care of my cat's issues, but also went to great lengths to make sure that I understood the severity of the situation.
