I have been goin to Rothman since my black lab named Friday since approximately 2004/2005. Two dogs later, phoebe has been under Rothman Animal Hospital's care since 2014 when I rescued her from Almost Home Animal Shelter. Why the bad review now readers may wonder. well, here's why: earlier this March, phoebe's health took a turn...tests were performed, a splenectomy was needed due to nodules (turned out benign) - but developed complications immediately following that required her to be transported to Mount Laurel Animal Hospital. From post op to waiting overnight to transport, Phoebe wasn't moving. once at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital (see my review for them), she wasn't moving. 48 hours after her admission, she still wasn't moving and had noticed something matted to her fur on her thigh. I asked Mount Laurel Animal Hospital's Dr, Groman and his staff about it "don't know" and that was it. Fast forward a week later she was released on May 1 and on May 5 she developed a serious skin infection that spread from the size of a quarter to her her whole thigh and side of her butt. I alerted Mount Laurel Animal Hospital and asked a remedy, and took phoebe to see her vet Dr Garcia at Rothman. horrified, Dr. Garcia was alarmed, upped her Addison medication to thwart a possible Addisonian relapse, rx'd additional antibiotics, after I explained what happened at Mount Laurel. Dr. GARCIA SUGGESTED that maybe it was from Rothman (since she wasn't moving at all while she laid on the floor). Shockingly, when I called Mount Laurel Animal Hospital to address the infection, I'd then get a call from Dr. Garcia at rothman. I always got a gut reaction that these calls were far from coincidental in their timing. Both hospitals were talking and getting their ducks in a row. And lied to Mount Laurel and agreed with them that it wasn't their fault or their own fault at Rothman...the raw skin that's exposed and blazing hot is nobody's fault. while I was amused at how both institutions thought I was stupid and I didn't realize what was going on...I had a feeling. What a disgrace and disgust to the vetinerary community. Just own up and take accountability. YOU know she wasn't admitted with some god knows what substance stuck to her fur to Rothman...and the first time I saw it...it was at Mount Laurel. And after Dr, Garcia suggested maybe both were to blame and cleaned and bandaged her at no charge twice (what vet hospital does anything for free?!) is even more disgusting. Read Less
