The star is for the staff. New to Warren County I went off a referral. Office visits for well checks were fine. With a sick puppy in hand everything changed. I will spare this man from sharing the details of his behavior which I thank him for acknowledging and apologizing for, however the rudeness continued. Only his vet tech he and I know, also family and friends. One of the friends being a gentleman which streets are named after in the town and knows countless people and stories. What I didn't know was I'm not the only one that has witnessed the other side of this man, he seems to have a reputation for being as such. I tossed and turned as to write a review because at my age I have learned just to walk away quietly, life is so very short. The only reason I decided to is because I came to this page in deciding to use this office as well as the referral. I only wish others which I have since heard had shared their stories. Dr. Bertoldo is by far the greatest vet we have ever been to. He is caring and compassionate, understanding and realistic. He is extremely skilled and knowledgeable about all types of animals and he explains things thoroughly,with great detail.Dr. Bertoldo saved our dog's life, literally bringing her back when she died on the table!! We are forever greatful!All of the staff at Animal Mansion are wonderful as well.The techs are all extremely knowledgeable as well.I trust them to address and answer any questions or concerns we may have.Animal Mansion is like our second home. It was an emotional day with the loss of our little guy Squirt. Dr. Bertoldo and all of the staff at Animal Mansion were incredibly amazing while attending quickly to our kitten, doing everything possible to save him. They all went over and beyond to make him feel as comfortable as possible, as well as my children and I. Love Dr. Jon. Love Animal Mansion! A few years ago I was in the waiting room with my little Delilah and I heard people talking about a dog that was hit by car and Jon was working on him. The dogs owner, a big guy, who you wouldn't expect to show emotions in public looked very concerned. First, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to the girls at the front desk and the vet techs for being so kind, understanding, and gentle. Thank you to Dr. Holly for fixing up my baby and being so sweet and patient. Everyone I met yesterday was amazing! I brought my furbaby Tucker in yesterday for the first time. Wasn't eating, couldn't walk, fevers, swollen golf ball sized joints, and so weak. He had bloodwork done and it showed he was VERY positive for Lyme disease. The staff took such great care of him and im so very grateful. Today, not even 24hrs later, you would never know he was so sick! He's walking normal, eating a little better, the swelling is hardly noticeable, and he is so much happier! My girls have always had the best care at Animal Mansion. You can tell that everyone who works there really cares. I've been to many vets throughout the years and they are the most caring and attentive. Dr. Jon fusses over my dog Binx and as a result she is less stressed when visiting. I've also brought rescue's there for treatment (both dog and cat) and they've always received top notch care. Everyone is so warm and friendly. I love Dr. Holly! She took care of my gecko. He had an eye problem , and she took care of him right away. My first time coming here and certainly will not be my last. Dr. Holly is so caring, and takes the time out to explain everything more than once (if asked) with out any problem. I can't say enough about this place! What a wonderful staff! Everyone at this place is super friendly,warm and very caring. I was pleasantly surprised. I took my gecko because he had a problem with his eye, and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile, and a heater for him. Didn't have to wait long to be seen either. We had a great experience with Doctor Holly and Amy with Wyatt. Wyatt is fear aggressive and Holly knew just what to dostarting from his back, she completed drawing blood so fast he didn't even flinch! He had all his necessary shots and then it was time to move to the front. He gave her a big warning woof that would curl anyones hair. Holly took it like a trooper and completed the exam. Thanks Animal Mansion team for taking on our sweet but sometimes difficult contender! I don't know what Tiffany's problem is. Maybe she was trying to beat the system and didn't succeed. Dr. Jon Bertoldo has been my vet for over 15 years. I first met him when he worked for a vet in Sussex County (where I live) and followed him over the years up to and including opening his own practice. I drive 30 miles each way to take my animals (3 dogs and 2 cats) to Animal Mansion. His office staff is gracious and courteous. His technicians are knowledgeable and caring. To me, there is no better vet than Dr. Bertoldo. I have a 16 year old dog who has a severe heart murmur and has been in heart failure and having kidney/liver issues for the past 4 years. His treatment of Tinker has kept her leading a normal, and active life. I have a special needs rescue dog that has some serious trust issues. Being a pitbull, most vets would not even deal with her. Jon has treated Destiny with the confident care she needs at every visit. My animals thrive under his care and I would not consider going ANYWHERE else. I read the previous review, and would have to say I question the veracity of any of it. The picture she paints of Dr. Bertoldo is so incongruous to reality, I wonder what her real motive is. If you love you animals, DO NOT HESITATE TO USE ANIMAL MANSION AND JON BERTOLDO. You will not find a more competent and CARING doctor. Read Less
