I adore Dr. Ruiz and both vet techs Chelsea and Barbara. I had Dr Ruiz and vet tech Barbara for my one dog Charley when they worked at another vet. Several yrs later after Charley passed I got 2 more dogs. I called the place I use to use and they told me they no longer were there. I searched and finally found him here and Barbara came later. I was so happy. He truly is an amazing vet. They were so good to my Charley! Now for Chelsea.... she is the sweetest young lady and so caring and good at her job. My carson loves her and I call her Carson’s girlfriend. Carson is a 115 lb rottweiler and has a 85 lb sister also a rottie. This young lady is so good and compassionate towards them. Always giving kisses to Carson and loves lily too. I am so blessed to have found this place, the staff is so caring and extremely nice. I would recommend anyone to them! I can't say enough good things about this place. My St. Bernard has severe hip dysplasia and Dr. Antonelli is the best -- she calls even when she is not on scheduled hours, and she takes a genuine interest in him.  Extremely knowledgeable, does not try to push unneeded tests or medications (which most vets do, in my experience). My fiancée's family has been taking their dogs here forever. Dr. Ashmore is amazing and the only person they'll trust with their dogs. For some reason, out of nowhere, Dr Ashmore is on a "leave of absence" and they don't give any more information. The vet they saw instead was not very good, not impressed. The office staff isn't friendly either. Dr. Ashmore was the only reason most people went there. Won't be back until Dr. Ashmore is back. Very disappointing. Read Less

First off, the good (great) - Dr. Ruiz is awesome.  He loves pets and is so friendly and understanding.  We've been taking our dog here for some years now.  He's excellent.The front desk is usually occupied with iPhones, chatting amongst each other or watching tv.  Always a delay in leaving.  Also, they change $20 for having your pets nails trimmed.  Ridiculous pricing.  They cut my dog's nail to the cuticle and it bled.  Not professional at all. I really like this place and the Dr.s and the people here, but the only thing I do not like is if u have an emergency or something and you call to come in the next day they can never just squeeze you in, it takes days to get an appointment, witch makes me have to take my dog to another place, because he can't wait days to be seen. Dr ashmore is Amazing!!! He is very caring and always does whatever he can to make sure my dog is comfortable. I have had a lot of problems this past year with my dog and he has been there to explain everything to me. You can tell he truly CARES about his patients. The other staff is not so great. Had a couple of problems with the receptionists not giving my messages to the dr. Other then that I would recommend dr ashmore to everyone. He really is amazing. Dr Ashmore wasn't even our primary vet but I was referred to him for emergency care for my 5 mo. old puppy. He returned my call at midnight on a Friday night, talked me through the assessment and performed emergency surgery promptly, competently and did not charge outrageous prices. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Ashmore! he has a beautiful facility too with a caring staff who called me post op to check on my pup! Love him and will recommend him to everyone. Read Less

Everyone knows when your pet is sick you are willing to do almost anything to get it better and sadly in some cases vets see this as an opportunity to make some extra money. Not the case at all here! Dr. Ashmore is honest, personable and genuinely cares about every single one of his "patients." What stood out most to me was a call from his office a few days after our visit to check in to see how my little guy was doing.The office is extremely clean and all who work there from the receptionist to the nurses are kind and spend a lot of time really getting to know you and your pet so that you feel comfortable.What I really liked about Dr. Ashmore was that he spend time playing with my pet instead of doing and "in and out" exam that could have taken 5 minutes.
