After 20yrs with the same vet we decided to change it up with our new puppy. I have to admit I was kind of hesitant to change but the wellness plan was attractive since the pup would require frequent visits and vaccines. I am so glad we made the change and met Dr Z! He is definitely my kind of doctor. He's very knowledgeable and caring. I'm some what of a worry wart, he not only takes care of our Frankie with care and ease,  he also talks me down! The entire staff has been wonderful. From the ease of making an appt to check in/out, they have been great! The wellness plan really gives us piece of mind and takes the worry out of the cost of "another vet visit".  We've had our pup 2 mths and have gone for routine and emergency 5-6 times already. My 4 yr old dog developed a mass on her butt and the staff and vet was amazing! Not only did the staff do everything they could to help calm my nervous pup down but they showed her so much love along ... Read More
My 4 yr old dog developed a mass on her butt and the staff and vet was amazing! Not only did the staff do everything they could to help calm my nervous pup down but they showed her so much love along with the vet who actually got down on the ground to sit and play with her. When we got the results of the biopsy the vet himself called me and explained everything to me and was very sympathetic! Read Less

We went here for 10 years. Never again. They are nothing but a corporate turnstile whose mission is too overbook their appointments to make as much money as they can. I'm sure the doctors care, but if you have an emergency or you're trying to good deed(like rescuing a kitten) they'll deny you at the door. Please search out a local veterinary because I bet they'll will be there for you and your pet while Banfield is just counting money and cashing checks. Read Less

Everytime I try to make an appointment its a problem and when I called them back to complain and Jen the " manager" gave me such an attitude. Asking me if I would like to argue or make an appointment. Telling me I was wrong. Very unhappy and when I bring my dog if I have any problems I will be canceling my plans for both dogs and taking them somewhere where I get treated with respect. Read Less

We have a pet plan which includes office visits and the Doctors are good. Issue would be if your dog needed immediate care they tell you to take dog elsewhere. They have a set schedule. No emergency... Read More
We have a pet plan which includes office visits and the Doctors are good. Issue would be if your dog needed immediate care they tell you to take dog elsewhere. They have a set schedule. No emergency care or if you need medicine for ear infection you can wait days. Read Less

I have been taking my male dog here for over 11 years and when I got a second dog about 4 years ago I started taking her there too. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. My dogs have seen several of the vets and vet techs and they are always helpful and nice to my dogs. My male dog is very old and almost blind and deaf, and the staff seem to treat him very well and are calm and patient with him. My female dog is very high strung and they never get impatient with her. With the wellness plans I have for each dog, I have saved several thousand dollars over the years and I am grateful for that. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants quality care for their pets. Read Less

I can't say enough about the care that all of the members of the Banfield team have provided to my dog.  I was thrilled after our first visit when I emailed Jenn (the business manager/vet tech) a question at 7:30 on Sunday night figuring I would hear back from her the next day and she emailed a response immediately from her phone.This week my dog was bitten by another dog at day care and while it has been a very difficult week they have been nothing short of remarkable.  I called on the way to pick him up from day care and they said to bring right in.  We were seen immediately and Dr Snelling spent a lot of time explaining the procedure, the potential issues, what she actually did when she was done, and the required aftercare.  Two days later he pulled the exterior stitch and again Dr Snelling took him right away.  I have called multiple times since then and the receptionist, vet techs, and doctors know my pet, what medication he is on, and are very helpful and reassuring. I'm so glad I decided to give Banfield a try.  I couldn't be happier. Read Less

I have been a member of Banfield for over five years and had not experienced any issues until now (used to live in Florida). However, after moving to NJ over a year ago, I have been running into difficulties at this place. Customer service is horrendous and most of the doctors act as if you are inconveniencing them when you ask question about your pets health.. Isnt that what we are supposed to do in order to better understand what is going on? They expect you to just take medication and give to you pet without knowing exactly what the issue is. Some of the people at the front desk are rude and not compassionate. 80% of the time Im upset after leaving this place. Scheduling is a problem. I was told I HAD to drop my dog off to get vaccines and was told I was not allowed to stay with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Supposedly, regular appointments are for pets who have issues (an illness) and not for pets who are only coming in for vaccines. They have never called me to check in on my pets following a visit, according to their supervisor this is supposed to be done Needless to say I am no longer a member of Banfield and will be finding my own vet outside of this company. For those of you who do not know there are other forms of pet insurance out there!Read Less

The doctor currently at this hospital is very good and kind; however, the staff is absolutely miserable, especially one of the vet techs. This one inparticular is very nasty and fake sounding and I wouldn't feel comfortable having her handle my puppy again. Things I've heard about this hospital since going there have not been good. Just give the doctor a completely new staff and then maybe I'd go back. Read Less

After 20yrs with the same vet we decided to change it up with our new puppy. I have to admit I was kind of hesitant to change but the wellness plan was attractive since the pup would require frequent visits and vaccines. I am so glad we made the change and met Dr Z! He is definitely my kind of doctor. He's very knowledgeable and caring. I'm some what of a worry wart, he not only takes care of our Frankie with care and ease,  he also talks me down! The entire staff has been wonderful. From the ease of making an appt to check in/out, they have been great! We went here for 10 years. Never again. They are nothing but a corporate turnstile whose mission is too overbook their appointments to make as much money as they can. I have been taking my male dog here for over 11 years and when I got a second dog about 4 years ago I started taking her there too. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. My dogs have seen several of the vets and vet techs and they are always helpful and nice to my dogs. My male dog is very old and almost blind and deaf, and the staff seem to treat him very well and are calm and patient with him. My female dog is very high strung and they never get impatient with her. With the wellness plans I have for each dog, I have saved several thousand dollars over the years and I am grateful for that. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants quality care for their pets. Read Less

I have been a member of Banfield for over five years and had not experienced any issues until now (used to live in Florida). However, after moving to NJ over a year ago, I have been running into difficulties at this place. The doctor currently at this hospital is very good and kind; however, the staff is absolutely miserable, especially one of the vet techs. This one inparticular is very nasty and fake sounding and I wouldn't feel comfortable having her handle my puppy again. Things I've heard about this hospital since going there have not been good. Just give the doctor a completely new staff and then maybe I'd go back. Read Less
