Dr Ross has been our vet since his first day at the Animal Hospital of Clinton-Perryville. He is a warm, knowledgeable, compassionate man who takes great care of our fur baby without pushing unnecessary services. His staff are also knowledgeable, pleasant and very helpful people. Whenever our Miss Penny has an issue, they have always been able to see us the day we call. Also, Dr. Ross or a staff member always calls after after a sick visit to follow up on our precious pup's condition. We couldn't be more pleased with the care we've received over the years! I.LOVE.THIS.PRACTICE.Dr. Ross is amazing - he is caring and compassionate, and he calls to check on how every single one of my animals is doing after they have a visit.I have three cats and a dog - our latest family member, Sadie the dog, was adopted with some behavioral challenges and the staff here has worked with us, understood, and I can't even go into how awesome they are.Sadie had to go in today for dental work and had 9 teeth extracted. Everyone was so kind and reassuring and Dr. Ross called to explain everything. If you live in the Clinton area, you would be crazy to go anywhere else but here.I know Dr. Ross, and I know he's either to call us tonight or tomorrow morning to check in and see how Sadie is doing. I have been going to the Animal Hospital of Clinton Perryville for over 10 years. I started with 2 other vets, who subsequently left the practice, and each time I was so disappointed and worried that I would not like the new vet as much. Well I can honestly say that I LOVE Dr. Ross! He is by FAR the most compassionate and caring vet (and person!) we've ever had. He is EXTREMELY knowledgable and is definitely up on the latest in veterinary medicine. Both of my AmStaffs have medical issues, and he has been very helpful in keeping them happy and healthy. I can not say enough good things about Dr Ross, Ashley, and his entire staff! They all love thier jobs, they are the best at what they do! They all love all three of our fur babies as if they were thier own! They are also genuine good loving, caring people. Last year, I took our older dog in for an emergency sick visit, which ended up being one of the worst days of my life, my husband was away on the west coast for a business trip, Roxy would not of made it through the day, I was there alone, but, I was not alone...Dr Ross and Ashley never left my side, they both stayed with me and Roxy, giving us the most loving support until she took her last breath, and thier support continued for me and my entire family..for even months after our loss. Dr. Ross is truly is an incredible human being and vet...I have 4 furbabies that have been tended to there. 2 of which we have lost and even with that sad, unfortunate experience Dr.Ross was caring,compassionate and made me feel ok with our difficult decisions we were faced with. Dr. Ross and the staff at the Animal Hospital of Clinton-Perryville are fantastic! I needed to have my Fox Terrier, Poppy, looked at because she hadn't been feeling well for over 24 hours. I had a phone consultation with my vet who was ready to leave on vacation. He suggested I give Dr. Ross a call. The staff was so accommodating when I called and even though they had recently returned from vacation themselves, managed to squeeze me in. Dr Ross and his tech were so kind and took great care of Poppy. He gave me a few options for her care and was mindful of the cost of each option. He even told me to call him on his cell phone if she was not feeling better or if I had questions.The next day I received a personal call from Dr. Ross himself with the results of Poppy's blood work. I would recommend Dr. Ross to anyone who is looking for a great veterinary practice in the area.Read Less

Go in there with my wife with a very sick cat. We were both stressed and desperate. Clearly, the vet smelled the stink of our desperation as he proceeded to up-sell us on every possible treatment option. Rather than beginning the conversation by asking what our budget was, and what tests we need to narrow our focus of treatment, he attempted to simply sell us expensive tests such as x-rays and bloodtests which, I found upon further discussion, would not have uncovered an issue worth attempting to fix (i.e., AIDS). I asked him for antibiotics since that would solve most of the problems that he was suggesting I pay 10x more to "detect". He said it was 'reasonable'. I guess he just doesn't assume customers care about their money AND their pets. Can't give good reviews to a business which assumes that customers are not interested in reducing cost. Read Less

I have owned a number of animals over the years and have been to several Vets. Hands  down, Dr. Ross is the most caring Vet I have ever met.  I love too that he is conservative with his approach to medical conditions.  His staff  is professional and caring.  I was taught for the 1st time by one of his assistants how to successfully put my cat into a crate without getting scratched to death! lol -- Highly recommend!! Dr. Ross is kind and caring. My cat has an ongoing issue, and Dr. Ross will periodically call us at home to find out how things are going, which is really thoughtful. I like his conservative approach. A pet with medical needs gets expensive quickly. I found the Animal Hospital of Clinton Perryville after I adopted my pit bull Angel. She needed to be spayed and have a good thorough health check and they were able to get us in ASAP. Angel isn't the easiest case; she has allergies, has torn both cruciate ligaments and hates having her nails trimmed. No matter what we have to have done to her to help her get healthy, the staff and Dr. Ross have made every single experience positive. We feel completely supported by them and I would recommend the practice to anyone. Angel even wags herself silly every single second she is there. This is a not a discount practice, but they won't hit you with surprises if money is an issue, talk about options. Read Less

Dr. Ross and his staff are always patient and compassionate with my many companions, and he seems to have a calming effect, especially on my wilder cats. Watching him trim Peanut's nails without her going into meltdown was jaw-dropping! We have used Dr. Ross as our vet for the past few years. My dog has had some issues  issues over the years and he was fabulous! He treated her very conservatively, instead of rushing right into surgical options. He always laid out all the available treatments to help us make the best decisions. Dr. Ross and his staff are, in my opinion, the best in the area. Dr. Ross takes the time to listen to your concerns and he keeps track of your pets medical history. He strikes a perfect balance between required and recommended testing, medications and so on. Many other practices I have gone to are at one or the other end of the spectrum - either not recommending any testing/medications or over testing/medicating. All of the staff at the clinic are welcoming and take the time to know you and your pets. If you have any questions or concerns, they take the time to address them and do so with smiles. I love Dr. Ross! I brought my cat to Dr. Ross for a second opinion (the first vet suggested giving my cat anesthesia to look deep down in her ears after I brought her in due to her constantly scratching her ears). Dr. Ross checked her ear really well and felt she probably had an allergy and sent us home with allergy medication. After the first dose, she stopped the scratching, and I was really happy that she didn't need to get any other procedures done. I bring her back there now for yearly check ups. Dr. Ross also will always call to check in on his patients himself, even if she is only getting a rabies vaccine he calls and makes sure she is ok. Highly recommend coming here (although others say he charges a bit more than some other providers). Read Less

My wife and I are new to Hampton, NJ and we just found Dr. Ross.  I have to say Dr. Ross and his staff are fantastic.  From the moment we walked in with our 3 dogs everyone was very friendly and helpful.  We have a couple cronic issues on an old puppy and dont want to put him to sleep for surgery if there are other options, Dr. Ross really cared about him and gave us multiple options for him.  We really appreciated the level of service and just general honest approach he had.  We will be going back!Lastly, they freely give out Dr. Ross's personal cell phone for 24hr emergency service, you cannot beat that.  I hope I never have to use it, but its nice to know I can. We went here because our cat was very sick, and our normal vet was away. The receptionist at our normal vet recommended the Animal Hospital of Clinton Perryville. Unfortunately, we had to put our cat to sleep and only went once, but Dr. Niebojeski was amazing. She treated us as if we had been bringing out cat to her for years. We were overwhelmed by her ability to be so empathic and professional at the same time. The Dr. and her staff were as wonderful as you could hope for, and we recommend them without reservation.
