My dog, an older dog, was misdiagnosed at another veterinary group and almost died. I was told that she had 'prolapse' when she really had a mass, and a secondary mass on her vaginal wall. After almost bleeding to death, and then almost dying because she started to have serious trouble urinating, I sought the help of Animal Hospital at Kingston NJ. By this time my dog had lost a lot of weight and appeared to be going downhill rapidly. AH at Kingston gave her a serious antibiotic injection and another injection to relax her. If it didn't work, overnight, she would have died.It worked. My dog was evaluated by Dr. Seltzer, and surgeon Dennis Ting who discovered that the issue was a double mass that needed to be removed. All tests confirmed that there was no cancer. Dr. Ting removed the two growths in surgery and I was able to take my dog home that very evening.Outside of being a little uncomfortable, my dog was in very good shape. She has now re-gained all of her weight and is energized and healthy. I am so grateful to Dr. Ting and Dr. Seltzer for diagnosing my dog Blue properly, and for the treatment that they gave her, which saved her life. Btw, the issue of the misdiagnosis, went on for 2 months with the former vet constantly trying to push the mass (which he thought was a prolapse back into the vaginal wall - there were issues with having to watch her at all times because of possible mutilation, not to mention the uncomfortable life that she had for several months). He did not move beyond this mode of treatment. Also, I found that the Animal Hospital at Kingston, unlike others, truly cares about the animals that are treated there. This is the best Veterinary Office in the area. I live in Princeton and it is very convenient, located off of route 27.If you don't have a Veterinary Office - this is the one for you. If you feel unsure, and want a second opinion (as I did) this office will be able to help you. Read Less
