We offer laboratory, radiology, dental, and surgical procedures for your pet.We have a caring team of staff members on hand to help, and take care of your pet!Going out-of-town? We offer medically-supervised pet boarding to monitor them.When your pet needs to have surgery performed, you need to know that you can count on someone to properly care for them. At Marlton Animal Hospital, our doctors and technicians take every available precautionary step before any procedure, especially ones requiring anesthesia. If your pet is in need of surgery, please feel free to ask us questions. Pre-operation requirements vary per pet, based on the type of procedure, species of pet, age of pet, and the pet's health status. Testing can involve blood work, x-rays, echocardiograms, and more. We will run these tests prior to starting the operation to check your pet's organ function and make sure there are no underlying issues that may affect the outcome of the procedure. We want you to feel confident that your pet will be safe with us. We will utilize Pulse Oximeter machines, blood pressure monitors, and ECG machines throughout your pet's surgery. These monitors help us ensure that your pet does not have a reaction to the anesthesia. Each pet requiring anesthesia will have a trained technician monitoring them throughout the whole procedure. There is no substitute for the human factor, and although machines aid in our surgical procedures, we do not fully rely only on them. I am reading many different posts about waiting too long. ALL doctors are very busy savings lives to include THIS PRACTICE.  If you cannot afford vet bills maybe you should not own a pet. Dr. Luk and Dr. Jeremy saved my cat's life that is diabetic and yes it was expensive but NOTHING IN LIFE IS FREE or inexpensive.  You expect DOCTORS to be cheap; sorry it doesn't work like that. If this practice made a poor medical decision I could see complaints. To gripe about time waiting for bills and prices is ridiculous. Have you ever waited in the ER or a doctor's office for you or a family member? ALL types of doctors are very busy saving lives to include this practice.  They are the most compassionate group. I have a 13-year-old cat that is in need of dental cleaning. With his heart problem, I was told do not put him under anesthesia. Instead, the doctor went in the back, manually chipped away at the plaque, and DID NOT CHARGE ME!!  The cat that is diabetic was born with a heart defect. I was not aware of this since I only had her one week and got her off the street.  I was scheduled to take her there for her shots in a few days when I saw she was not breathing properly. I called this practice and PJ, at the front desk, asked how many breaths per minute. I told him 60 and he said to get her there immediately,  they took her immediately in the back and drained the fluid around her heart. I was told most cats with this defect only live 3 years, that was in 2008. With Dr. Luk and their cardiologist, Dr. Miller, as her doctors, she has received the best care and is alive today.  Although she has a heart defect she is well and not in any discomfort.  As far as the staff, only one woman at the front desk has no people skills. If you don't like it be an adult and complain to Dr. Luk.  If you do not advise him he may NOT KNOW PEOPLE!!  I think this is a wonderful practice and have been bringing my pets there since I moved here 18 years ago. just now-EditI am so impressed with how much time and attention were paid to my little cat.  I have never had a vet who was as gentle and thorough.   His many years of experience allow him to explain everything to you, and make his own recommendations based on practical experience, not just on what the text book says (although he was Summa Cum Laude at U. of Penn).  It was fairly easy to get an appointment once the reception knew how sick my cat was.  He has inspired complete confidence in me, which rarely, rarely happens!  Its clear he loves animals and does not do excessive procedures just to jack up your bill.  He is the sort of vet you want access to if  you have a seriously ill pet in your family.  His prices are somewhat lower than many other clinics, and much lower than the local "super hospitals" where they really did not care about Pookie.  Dr. Luke is the best!   The pets around here are lucky, their pet parents have access to such an amazing doctor! We have been going here for years! We have 5 shelties and our kitty and would not even think of going any where else! Besides everyone on staff being extremely friendly. Dr. Sue Dr. Jeremy as well as their dad Dr. Luke are very knowledgeable. Our dog had cancer twice and both times they pulled him through. They are everything you want in a doctor, the are very professional and attentive. It is not just a business to them, they truly care deeply for your pets! I would highly recommend them! Read Less

I came here as a new client and was so pleased with how they treated my cat. He didn't want to leave his carrier and the doctor was able to do the full exam and vaccinations without forcing him out. She was so friendly, answered all my questions, and even referred to his records from our old vet. And it was less expensive that our old vet! Definitely happy I switched here Read Less

I've been going to Marlton hospital since my dog was a puppy 15 years ..I've always left there with 300 to 400 dollar bill which I thought was a rip off but I love my dog and thought vet were just expensive...Last week we had to bring my dog in to put her down my family was devastated..They do this at night so we had a 8:30 PM apt.. The girls at the front desk were horrible no empathy whatsoever .. Made us wait in waiting room ..When we finally got put  into a room and said good bye to my beloved dog we were hysterical.. We did not hold her while they gave her the needle we just handed her over.. On our way out they told us we had to pay the bill but did not have it ready..They expected us to wait there hysterical crying till they got the bill ready while my dog was in the back being put to sleep..We walked out and said to bill us which they did not like..What a horrible place..Neadless to say when I get another dog I'm finding a new vet. I know we are all quick to write something negative before we make a positive comment but I just have to say that my experience today will most likely prevent me from ever taking my dog back to Marlton Animal Hospital. My dog has been going there since he was a puppy and I have always loved the vets- dr luk, his son and now dr jarman- they are wonderful-whether it is sincere or not, I don't know but no complaintsThe front desk staff?? that is another story completely. I always have tolerated the behavior ( dismissive, sort of rude, apathetic) however today was the last straw. I went in on my lunch break to pick up a script that was waiting . the two dark haired middle aged women at the front desk at 1PM today, completely ignored me. I mean 100% ignored me. I am known to give just about anyone the benefit of the doubt but this was blatant rudeness. There were no customers in the place. One woman was actively engaged in a conversation  with a coworker and seeing me standing there, kept the conversation going even when clearly the conversation was coming to an end. When the male co worker walked away, I thought she would say "may I help you?" she never looked my way.  The other woman was sitting right in front of where I was standing and continued to write - glanced at me and looked back down. again, NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE. It was surreal. Honest to goodness, like I was invisible or something. i stared from one to the other in disbelief. Should I have said "um excuse me" maybe, but I shouldnt have to. Where I work, we graciously greet everyone that comes up to our desk. I don't stare at them like a dead animal. we make people feel welcome and not like they are bothering you. I just turned around, walked out, knowing I would never, ever be backI hope the docs see the reviews - because clearly mine is not the only one complaining of the front desk staff, and know that their front desk is a reflection of them. please nothing good lasts forever and Marlton Animal Hospital was once a wonderful place wherein they were once compassionate - now however there is no compassion but money and then some is all that matters - in all the wrong ways - very sad to see this has happened since they changed owners - find another i also suggest that you file a BBB complaint which is what I did. unfortunately, I was threatened by the evesham two municipal court that if i didn't dismiss my BBB complaint then i would be charged for harassment - i called continuously because they didn't finish their grooming job in which my cat had to go under sedation . i called continuously because no one would return my calls or resolve / reschedule service. I'm updating my review from a year ago. Originally it was a five star review, but not anymore. Lately whenever I go there I have to wait not only before, but also after the scheduled appt time. By that I mean you get there, wait in the waiting room well past your appt time (20 minutes usually), finally get called back with your pet, and then wait again for the bill!! All I had was an exam for my pet. THAT'S IT!! An exam. Nothing complex at all with that. Took them another 20 minutes just to confirm it with the doctor that that's what the bill was. I'll never understand their software system, but it needs to be updated. I work in a doctor's office myself and the second we put in the procedures performed into the patients profile, it's available to the front desk immediately. No need to wait 20 minutes. So please MAH, do something to speed up the billing process. You're chasing your customers away with the wait time. Also, the front staff could be friendlier. A smile and a polite hello takes 2 seconds. Try it for a change. The doctor's are great though. They're very knowledgeable and friendly, all of them. It's just the front desk that's miserable and very, very slow. Read Less

This hospital is not like it was 10 years ago. Extremely disappointed - Scheduled my cat to get groomed - Had to get blood work to determine if she was okay to be sedated which is understandable - receptionist charged my card $390 which I did not authorize since I was advised groomer was not available on the scheduled date. It's been a week now and no one has returned my calls to reschedule her grooming. Doctor did call me however he advised he had nothing to do with why they didn't call me back to reschedule but that they were extremely busy - since then , I have yet to receive a return call as to rescheduling and unauthorized charges which was to include grooming. I've known Dr. Lukianovich for a long time and he asked me to bring in my kitty, Domo, who had a growth on his face. Other vets didn't have the confidence to cut, but he asked that I bring in Domo asap. He removed the growth cleanly and even though Domo's cancer had spread already, I am forever grateful to him for the care he put into his patient. I would suggest the Marlton Animal Hospital to anyone. Read Less

Way way way too expensive, even for a check up. My poor dog got very sick and we took him to this vet. He got better, then got sick, then got better and the cycle went on! We ended up spending $3000 on our dog and guess what? He still wasn't better Ended up switching and now he's great and it was also way cheaper! I felt like I was taken advantage of my sick dog. Will never go back there again and please don't take your pet here, for your pets sake. Read Less

I have been taking my cats to Marlton Animal Hospital for the past 12 years. I will be honest, it can be pricey and sometimes the front desk staff isn't nice, but the doctors are amazing. I love Dr. Luke he is always patient and calm which is needed especially when you are there for an emergency. He's very experienced and knows everything about cats. One of my cats is diabetic and he is a wealth of knowledge, he has done much research in this area and it shows.  I have also worked  with Dr. Jeremy who is again patient and calm.  I recently have worked with Dr. Jarman and she is wonderful. We brought my cat in for not eating and she knew exactly what to look for in his blood. It did not work out well, I lost him that night very quickly and unexpectedly but Dr. Jarman was incredibly patient and caring. I knew that that night he was in the best hands possible and to me that was worth everything, I was just so thankful that it was her that took care of us that night. I completely trust the doctors at Marlton Animal Hospital I know they only want what is best for your animals and are very thorough. Read Less

They have taken care of our pets for years. They have always been there for our pets. We've taken our pets for routine annual exams, emergencies, and when we had to have pets put to sleep. The entire staff, from the front desk, to the assistants, to the nursing staff and especially the doctors, has always been compassionate and professional. About 20 years ago after we had to have a much loved dog put to sleep we adopted a dog with medical needs from the rescue affiliated with the hospital. We had him for 8 wonderful years and they were there for him and us when we had to have him put to sleep. We are grateful to have them care for our pets. Read Less

I was not aware of this since I only had her one week and got her off the street.  I was scheduled to take her there for her shots in a few days when I saw she was not breathing properly. I called this practice and PJ, at the front desk, asked how many breaths per minute. I told him 60 and he said to get her there immediately,  they took her immediately in the back and drained the fluid around her heart. I was told most cats with this defect only live 3 years, that was in 2008. With Dr. Luk and their cardiologist, Dr. Miller, as her doctors, she has received the best care and is alive today.  Although she has a heart defect she is well and not in any discomfort.  As far as the staff, only one woman at the front desk has no people skills. If you don't like it be an adult and complain to Dr. Luk.  If you do not advise him he may NOT KNOW PEOPLE!!  I think this is a wonderful practice and have been bringing my pets there since I moved here 18 years ago. just now-EditI am so impressed with how much time and attention were paid to my little cat.  I have never had a vet who was as gentle and thorough.   His many years of experience allow him to explain everything to you, and make his own recommendations based on practical experience, not just on what the text book says (although he was Summa Cum Laude at U. of Penn).  It was fairly easy to get an appointment once the reception knew how sick my cat was.  He has inspired complete confidence in me, which rarely, rarely happens!  Its clear he loves animals and does not do excessive procedures just to jack up your bill.  He is the sort of vet you want access to if  you have a seriously ill pet in your family.  His prices are somewhat lower than many other clinics, and much lower than the local "super hospitals" where they really did not care about Pookie.  Dr. Luke is the best!   The pets around here are lucky, their pet parents have access to such an amazing doctor! Dr. Sue Dr. Jeremy as well as their dad Dr. Luke are very knowledgeable. Our dog had cancer twice and both times they pulled him through. I've been going to Marlton hospital since my dog was a puppy 15 years ..I've always left there with 300 to 400 dollar bill which I thought was a rip off but I love my dog and thought vet were just expensive...Last week we had to bring my dog in to put her down my family was devastated..They do this at night so we had a 8:30 PM apt.. The girls at the front desk were horrible no empathy whatsoever .. Made us wait in waiting room ..When we finally got put  into a room and said good bye to my beloved dog we were hysterical.. We did not hold her while they gave her the needle we just handed her over.. On our way out they told us we had to pay the bill but did not have it ready..They expected us to wait there hysterical crying till they got the bill ready while my dog was in the back being put to sleep..We walked out and said to bill us which they did not like..What a horrible place..Neadless to say when I get another dog I'm finding a new vet. I know we are all quick to write something negative before we make a positive comment but I just have to say that my experience today will most likely prevent me from ever taking my dog back to Marlton Animal Hospital. My dog has been going there since he was a puppy and I have always loved the vets- dr luk, his son and now dr jarman- they are wonderful-whether it is sincere or not, I don't know but no complaintsThe front desk staff?? that is another story completely. I always have tolerated the behavior ( dismissive, sort of rude, apathetic) however today was the last straw. I went in on my lunch break to pick up a script that was waiting . the two dark haired middle aged women at the front desk at 1PM today, completely ignored me. I mean 100% ignored me. I am known to give just about anyone the benefit of the doubt but this was blatant rudeness. There were no customers in the place. One woman was actively engaged in a conversation  with a coworker and seeing me standing there, kept the conversation going even when clearly the conversation was coming to an end. When the male co worker walked away, I thought she would say "may I help you?" she never looked my way.  The other woman was sitting right in front of where I was standing and continued to write - glanced at me and looked back down. again, NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE. It was surreal. Honest to goodness, like I was invisible or something. i stared from one to the other in disbelief. Should I have said "um excuse me" maybe, but I shouldnt have to. Where I work, we graciously greet everyone that comes up to our desk. I don't stare at them like a dead animal. we make people feel welcome and not like they are bothering you. I just turned around, walked out, knowing I would never, ever be backI hope the docs see the reviews - because clearly mine is not the only one complaining of the front desk staff, and know that their front desk is a reflection of them. I'm updating my review from a year ago. Originally it was a five star review, but not anymore. Lately whenever I go there I have to wait not only before, but also after the scheduled appt time. By that I mean you get there, wait in the waiting room well past your appt time (20 minutes usually), finally get called back with your pet, and then wait again for the bill!! All I had was an exam for my pet. THAT'S IT!! An exam. Nothing complex at all with that. Took them another 20 minutes just to confirm it with the doctor that that's what the bill was. I'll never understand their software system, but it needs to be updated. I work in a doctor's office myself and the second we put in the procedures performed into the patients profile, it's available to the front desk immediately. No need to wait 20 minutes. So please MAH, do something to speed up the billing process. You're chasing your customers away with the wait time. Also, the front staff could be friendlier. A smile and a polite hello takes 2 seconds. Try it for a change. The doctor's are great though. They're very knowledgeable and friendly, all of them. It's just the front desk that's miserable and very, very slow. Read Less

Extremely disappointed - Scheduled my cat to get groomed - Had to get blood work to determine if she was okay to be sedated which is understandable - receptionist charged my card $390 which I did not authorize since I was advised groomer was not available on the scheduled date. It's been a week now and no one has returned my calls to reschedule her grooming. Doctor did call me however he advised he had nothing to do with why they didn't call me back to reschedule but that they were extremely busy - since then , I have yet to receive a return call as to rescheduling and unauthorized charges which was to include grooming. I've known Dr. Lukianovich for a long time and he asked me to bring in my kitty, Domo, who had a growth on his face. Other vets didn't have the confidence to cut, but he asked that I bring in Domo asap. He removed the growth cleanly and even though Domo's cancer had spread already, I am forever grateful to him for the care he put into his patient. We ended up spending $3000 on our dog and guess what? He still wasn't better Ended up switching and now he's great and it was also way cheaper! I felt like I was taken advantage of my sick dog. I have been taking my cats to Marlton Animal Hospital for the past 12 years. I will be honest, it can be pricey and sometimes the front desk staff isn't nice, but the doctors are amazing. I love Dr. Luke he is always patient and calm which is needed especially when you are there for an emergency. He's very experienced and knows everything about cats. One of my cats is diabetic and he is a wealth of knowledge, he has done much research in this area and it shows.  I have also worked  with Dr. Jeremy who is again patient and calm.  I recently have worked with Dr. Jarman and she is wonderful. We brought my cat in for not eating and she knew exactly what to look for in his blood. It did not work out well, I lost him that night very quickly and unexpectedly but Dr. Jarman was incredibly patient and caring. I knew that that night he was in the best hands possible and to me that was worth everything, I was just so thankful that it was her that took care of us that night. I completely trust the doctors at Marlton Animal Hospital I know they only want what is best for your animals and are very thorough. Read Less

They have taken care of our pets for years. They have always been there for our pets. We've taken our pets for routine annual exams, emergencies, and when we had to have pets put to sleep. The entire staff, from the front desk, to the assistants, to the nursing staff and especially the doctors, has always been compassionate and professional. About 20 years ago after we had to have a much loved dog put to sleep we adopted a dog with medical needs from the rescue affiliated with the hospital. We had him for 8 wonderful years and they were there for him and us when we had to have him put to sleep. We are grateful to have them care for our pets. Read Less
