My mother's 18 year old cat was dying and had to be put to sleep, so we called several vets in the area. They all wanted at least $150, which is outrageous considering that an examination was not needed. Countryside is the only veterinarian that does FREE euthanasia. We were able to make an appointment for the same day. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and sympathetic. They didn't "talk down" to us as some vets have done in the past. Doctor Scott Neabore€s skillful and knowledgeable hands removed the decayed teeth from my dog€s mouth. Samson had been pawing at his mouth because the pain from his swollen gums was no longer bearable to him. Four years ago, another doctor informed me that my Shitzu needed to have his teeth cleaned. I thought it was a bizarre idea because he is a dog, he will ignore the bottle water that I carried for him and preferred to drink water from the creek. Naturally, I thought that spending money on cleaning his teeth was wasteful. I was wrong ... due to lack of oral hygiene he had gum disease causing his teeth to rot. In approximately five weeks, Samson had two oral surgeries to remove a total of 15 teeth, that caused me to feel guilty about my penny wise and pound foolish behavior. Today, Samson's gums are healthy and he is feeling alive and well. I bought a children's electric toothbrush and chicken flavor toothpaste on Amazon. I will maintain the health of his remaining front teeth by brushing them. I would recommend this practice to anyone that wants a reliable and caring practice. Dr. Neabore is fantastic and has a wonderful way with animals. He is very thorough in his examinations and takes the time to answer any questions. I am very pleased with the care Maddison Rose has gotten. Everyone is so polite and helpful here, from the front desk, to the vet tech, to the vet. Their hours are great and someone always gets back to you if you have a question. worst group of veterninarians ever.. the one or two experience vets are great and the younger ones (who you see mostly) are so money hungry. they run tests for everything. my animal just had a full set of blood work. i am moving in 6 days and my animal is very upset. the more experience vet is not there and the others insist on more blood work. and seeing the animal. i am asking for an animal that has been going to this same vet since she was born, has had recent blood work and was just seen. i complain to the senior vet everytime i go in & he makes notes in my file every time i go in but the senior vet only comes in once or twice a week and the younger ones are as money hungry as money hungry gets. no matter what i call for, i get the same response, 'needs to be seen'... 'needs blood work'... but i just did blood work.... doesn't matter, we have to line our pockets Read Less
