I highly recommend Dr. Mary Gang of Hartford Animal Hospital. She and her staff always treat my dogs with great care and compassion. We have 2 dogs that are highly active in hunting and AKC activities. She is very informative to us as when we encounter any new medical situations. Her prices are very fair, the facility is always neat and clean. She is a very intelligent Vet and always continues to further educate herself. We are never rushed out the door at Hartford Animal Hospital. Dr. Gang takes the time to make sure your comfortable with what needs to be done for your animal and gives you options that work for you. We are very happy with our experiences there.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gang to everyone who wants the best care for their pets! I've known her for many years - she is kind, compassionate, and very educated in the veterinary field. Her prices are the best around for all services and she is very truthful and up front about what your pet needs or does not need. NO talking you into everything and NO "oh let me give you an estimate for that". Her facility is fresh and clean, and her staff is friendly. I've been taking my pets to her for a long time. I recently moved two and a half hours away and I still take them to her.

A wonderful small animal veterinary practice. Dr. Gang and her staff care deeply for the animals they treat, make smart treatment decisions, explain treatment options to the owner clearly and thoughtfully, and do so at very affordable prices. So compassionate and available when I was losing my previous cat to lymphoma late in her life. Dr. Gang also saved my current cat from a near-death mystery infection due to what we believe was an infected spider bite in her armpit. I still take my cat to this practice despite living a 45 minute drive away, and wouldn’t consider switching. Best veterinarian I know, hands down.

Doctor Mary S Gang of Hartford Animal Hospital is the best vet in the country! She has taken care of my cats for twenty-two years. She is kind, compassionate and has a love of all animals. She is always spot on with her diagnosis and treatment of my cats( and we have had some unusual and rare diseases in my house) she always knows and has saved many of my cats. I would recommend Dr. Gang to everyone who wants excellent care for their animals! She is also the most reasonably price hospital, I have friends and family tell me of the cost of other clinics and their prices are crazy high! So, if you want the best go to Dr. Mary Gang! I would not trust anyone else to treat my cats!

Recommend Dr. Gang for anyone who truly loves their pet. We adopted from a pug rescue and despite their efforts, it was difficult to obtain a thorough health history. Our girl had some major health issues which Dr. Gang was able to resolve with patience and professionalism. We never had a problem getting an appointment...even on short notice. She and her staff were very caring and put up with our "nervous pet parent" fears. As a breed, pugs are susceptible to many health issues and the rescue organization which approved us for adoption reviewed Dr. Gang prior to our approval and she passed the review with flying colors. If you follow her instructions, your pet will stay healthy and happy. She doesn't treat animals in order to become wealthy, she treats animals because it is her calling.

Dr. Gang does not rush her clients in and out the door and that's what I love about her. She takes her time and answers all of your questions so you leave feeling confident and at ease every time. Dr. Gang followed our dog, Ace throughout his life and was especially patient with us in his senior years.We recently had to say goodbye to him. It was a very emotional time and Dr. Gang made the process so peaceful and smooth. We are so thankful to have her as our vet and will continue to use/recommend her!

Dr Gang is a wonderful veterinarian. She always take the time to treat your pet and discuss his situation, not rushing you in and out as some do. Recently, our cat had a blot clot and she saved his life. She didn't give up on him and we didn't either. Today, five months later, he is back to being his old self. My husband and I cannot thank Dr Gang enough for saving Buddy. I would recommend her whole heartedly to all pet owners.

This is the worst vet ever!!! Don't take your kids with you to your appointment. The doctor is constantly screaming at the workers. She calls them, useless, morons, idiots, assholes, incompetent, stupid pieces of s $!# at the top of her lungs in front of everyone. She even screamed at me because I didn't make my appointment on the day she told me to schedule it because I had to work. Then while you are listening to her scream and yell she will come in and tell you the same things she just yelled. I felt so badly for her staff. Every time I go in there are new people, this doctor won't ever keep an employee if she's going to abuse them. If she treats people like this just imagine what she would do to an animal. It was very disturbing!!!!!

I have taken well over a dozen dogs here (both my own pets as well as foster dogs) since 2005. I am dumbfounded by the negative reviews I see here. My #1 qualification for a vet is the quality of service that is provided to my dog. In this regard, Dr. Gang is unparalleled. I have had dogs with numerous challenging illnesses and conditions, several of which required her to perform surgery, and in every case she has succeeded in curing them and/or providing them with excellent quality of life. I moved over an hour away from her practice and I still take my dog to her because after having experienced many other vets throughout NJ and the country I can say without exaggeration that she is the best. Yes, sometimes you have to wait a bit for your appointment. The reason that happens is that you are not shuffled in and out the door, she takes the time to really understand what is going on with your pet, answer your questions, do research, etc. She is also incredibly compassionate and genuinely cares about you and your pet. And her staff has also always been nothing but amazing.As long as I live within driving distance of Dr. Gang, I will bring my pets to her.

A wonderful small animal veterinary practice. Dr. Gang and her staff care deeply for the animals they treat, make smart treatment decisions, explain treatment options to the owner clearly and thoughtfully, and do so at very affordable prices. Dr Gang is a wonderful veterinarian. She always take the time to treat your pet and discuss his situation, not rushing you in and out as some do. I have taken well over a dozen dogs here (both my own pets as well as foster dogs) since 2005. I am dumbfounded by the negative reviews I see here. My #1 qualification for a vet is the quality of service that is provided to my dog. In this regard, Dr. Gang is unparalleled. I have had dogs with numerous challenging illnesses and conditions, several of which required her to perform surgery, and in every case she has succeeded in curing them and/or providing them with excellent quality of life. I moved over an hour away from her practice and I still take my dog to her because after having experienced many other vets throughout NJ and the country I can say without exaggeration that she is the best. Yes, sometimes you have to wait a bit for your appointment. The reason that happens is that you are not shuffled in and out the door, she takes the time to really understand what is going on with your pet, answer your questions, do research, etc. She is also incredibly compassionate and genuinely cares about you and your pet. And her staff has also always been nothing but amazing.As long as I live within driving distance of Dr. Gang, I will bring my pets to her.
