I just dropped off a baby sparrow that was removed & discarded from the ceiling of a local business. they were able to treat and care for the chick. i'm not aware if the little guy (or girl) made it or not but it just helped put my conscience at ease knowing that someone is trying to take care of it. keep up the great work, guys! I found a injured seagull on Rt 42 and took it to this place on a Saturday. Once I got there they seemed friendly at first but thats only to get a donation from you. I called back a week later to see if the bird survived and they refused to help me. They said it was impossible to track what I dropped off to them. Once they have a intake form and a name the animal can be tracked. Dont let them fool you. It was a lazy attempt on a half rate employee not wanted to help someone out after they got money! This place is so great. I've taken injured wild animals here twice now and I love that there is a place that tries to rehabilitate them. In addition to the animal hospital they also have nature trails, beautiful scenery, and a mini zoo of the animals who can't be released into the wild for one reason or another. After one visit, my family became members of Woodford Cedar Run. I can't believe I've lived 15 minutes from this place and never known it has existed! The staff are all very passionate and knowledgeable about the animals there. Each enclosure includes information on the type of animal as well as a specific note of that animal's story. Awesome place! Just wish they were closer to home. I'm finally glad to find a place to take sick or injured feathered family members to without breaking the bank. Super friendly staff works here who cares about birds. We need more places like this. A lot more places. Let the donations come pouring in this place as they put it to good use. I love love love this place!!! We went here to drop off a baby squirrel that I had raised by hand since he was abandoned by his mother. They were more then willing to take him in since I didn't want to release him and have him run over or hurt by a human since he was so trusting of them. They didn't hesitate when I asked to drop him off and even told me I could walk through the park for free after I did. They kept in touch about him for awhile which also made me feel good. This is great for adults, kids, anyone really who enjoys paying very little and seeing some up close animals and nature. Good for an hour or two, depend on how much walking around you want to do (and how much staring at the peregrine falcon you want to do - I watched it fly around for about 10 minutes because it was so beautiful). Great place to experience the Pine Barrens. Attended an interesting class about bird predators with the owls and hawk there to wow us!!! The grounds are immaculately kept, and the outdoor animal enclosures are bi-directionally protective. Interesting variety of creatures, and their stories are fascinating!!!! Hosted a birthday party for our ten year old at Cedar Run this evening. The kids had an amazing time. Erin was patient with me during the planning as well as with the kids during the party. We opted for the nighttime nature hike with a campfire and s'mores at the end - the perfect combination for fall fun. We look forward to coming back with our membership. Awesome little hiking spot with a small zoo filled with rescue animals. $5 per person to walk the trails and see the zoo, so remember to pay up front. This is also a pretty awesome place for a wedding venue, my friends were married here in 2015 and it was such a fun wedding. Read Less

What an amazing place. The wildlife hospital is professional and caring, rehabilitating and releasing all kinds of critters, and for those that can't be turned back to the wild, they find their place in the refuge. The refuge is utilized not only to house those animals, but as an incredible educational facility for kids and adults alike. Wow, Words cannot express how I feel right now. After taking in a 3 day old orphaned fox, raising it, making sure she was healthy and strong, we brought her to a "Wildlife REHAB and Sanctuary given the promise they would help integrate her back into the wild. They also took a "DONATION" that would help feed her during her stay. I just received a call that Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge put her down to test her for rabies, after we told them her was not exposed. They are NOT what they say they are. They lied, took our money un der false pretenses, then KILLED a beautiful, strong 4 week old fox kit. And yes, she tested negative. Read Less

Woodford's Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge is a terrific place to visit. Cedar Run has an Education Center with exhibits gear to adults and young people. You can hike trails surrounding the lake that is part of the 170-acre refuge, which includes exhibits of Pinelands animals that have been injured and cared for but can't be released into the wild. Animals include foxes, bald eagles, hawks, owls, vultures and more. Put this on your agenda if spending time in Medford. Read Less
