We brought our cat here until she passed at a ripe old age and now we take our kittens to the wonderful doctors here. We never have a doubt that they're in great hands whether we're in for a check-up, vaccines, or their spay. Everyone there, doctors, techs, office, etc are WONDERFUL. We love them and wouldn't recommend anyone else. Oh and the cost is reasonable, especially for such great service and love and care for our babies. Read Less

I brought my 15 year old kitty who hasn't seen a vet in years here and am overly impressed with the staff and Dr.Driben! My cat is extremely fussy and anxious at her vet appointments and these people did everything in their power to help me and her deal and ease the anxiety!! BMD has been my family's vet since I was a child. I have honestly never seen a practice with more attentive, caring people...from the doctors to the staff. They've been with me through 5 animals and I can't count the number of times one of the vets did something special or called on their personal number after hours to check up. We recently had to say goodbye to our 16-year-old dog. She had been a patient at Burl-Moor-Driben, and, although we had been using a vet closer to home recently, after talking to both offices, we decided to return to Moorestown for her final visit - and we are so pleased that we did. Every detail was handled with care and compassion, for our pet and for us. Thanks to Dr. Carpenter and the entire staff, FogDog's last moments were peaceful, making this difficult time easier for her and for us. Burl-Moor-Driben Animal Hospital was the 2nd of 3 vets that took care of our dog over the 16 years she was with us. Every time we moved, we had to find a new animal hospital for routine pet care, so we got to see a number of vets in action. Burl-Moor treated our dog from 2007 to 2012 while we were in the Moorestown area. While dogs can't talk, they can let you know what they like and what they don't. Our dog had a special place in her heart for the doctors at Burl-Moor (it was our favorite too--a place where doctors were thorough, made recommendations but didn't dictate, and where they respected both the owner and the pet.) When it came time to put out dog down, we wanted to do so in a place where our pet would be most comfortable and decided to travel a considerable distance back to Burl-Moor. We are so glad that we did. Dr, Carpenter was terrific. After talking with us and examining our dog, she confirmed it was time and treated our pet with tenderness and care. Burl-Moor's the best. We're a family of dog lovers (as well as a family of dogs!). After a not-so-happy experience with our long time vet hospital, we were lucky to find the doctors at Burl-Moor-Driben. We love Dr. Carpenter but have had excellence experience with other doctors there as well. One of our rescues has had serious health problems and has gotten the absolute best care. The part where this is a practice of all U of P Vet school grads shows. The staff is SO nice! Everybody loves dogs and our dogs love everybody there. Hands down, best vet's office ever. Everyone is totally fantastic. Dr. Carpenter is the most thorough doctor I've ever met, (animal or people dr), & you can tell that she genuinely cares about the animals that she treats. We took in a dog that a friend could no longer care for & we'd originally taken her to a different vet to get checked out, but were totally unsatisfied. I randomly came across this office in a web search & decided to give it a try. Dr. Carpenter spent so much time with Tinkerbell, going over every nook & cranny, & found things the other vet didn't even bother with, all the while explaining everything she was doing & finding. She also did her spay surgery & called twice to give me updates, which was so appreciated. I also found out that my other dog, who was attacked by a much larger dog the day after Christmas, was brought here by the animal control officer while I was in the hospital. They found he had air in his chest & had him sent to the er vet. So I'm doubly grateful for the thorough job they do. Thank you so much!Read Less

We unexpectedly had to put down our cat, Mask, when what we thought was a dental problem was actually a tumor. The staff did a wonderful job of explaining the situation and alternatives, making a difficult decision the clear choice. The staff gave our family all the time we needed to gather at BMD so we could all be with Mask to the end. Wonderful care. I have a very special kitty who has a mysterious disease. I have met with 5 different vets at this point and Dr. Carpenter and Dr. Souders have them all beat. They are truly dedicated to my baby and take the time out of their day to do personal research on my case. Dr. Carpenter has consulted with several other vets in the area looking for advice about this case, showing that she is willing to go the extra distance. She has also called me from her personal cell phone when she was home from work to check in. What amazing doctors, and a fantastic staff!
