I brought my very timid dog in in the middle of the night for an injury. Dr. Singh was very thorough, compassionate and fast. I've moved alot over the past few years which means I unfortunately always have to find a vet close by which is always scary. This is by far the best experience I have ever had with a vet. The staff is very sweet and caring. The doctor is also amazing. I went to a vet a few weeks ago before I moved and the doctor there said she heard a heart murmur and I would need to pay over $1000.00 to do an EKG to see what's going on. I was heartbroken I broke down crying for one I absolutely love my dog Boogie & two, I didn't have the money to do any of that. When I came to Harmony I mentioned that to the doctor and she listened to him for almost 20 minutes trying to hear if there was a murmur. But thankfully she didn't hear one at all. We loved Harmony Animal Hospital they save my kitten in 2010. But, I made an appointment to see a vet and I do not think I got a vet to see my cat. The vet name on the prescription was a woman and the man that took care of my cat was not her. I also while discussing antibiotics I was told a pill would be better than a shot and pills to help an infection. We have been coast to coast and I have never had anyone say this. I have found newer vets wait longer or stumble on things that seasoned vets effortlessly preform with experience. In regards to the comment: Your comment however sincere did not address my complaints. I did not see the veterinarian whose name was on the medication and my bill. I saw someone who I believe was a veterinarian technician given the fact that he took my cat’s temperature and did not do a physical exam. We paid for professional services and did not get them. I will be calling and I want to hear why I never saw a licensed veterinarian. I am not talking about the scheduling, I am talking about the delivery of service and the dispensing of the medication and it appears to that you are splinting a hair over the scheduling of an appointment. The team is AMAZING. We've been coming here for 15 years and will not go anywhere else. My family now lives in bridgewater and we drive 40 minutes to bring our babies to Harmony. It's worth it. They've saved all of our animals countless times and I mean really saved their lives. Our dog had to have emergency surgery due to a blockage, my previous cat had kidney issues and they prolonged his life by 3 years, my kitten got into a toxic house plant and was in extreme kidney failure which they've now reversed. I can't thank them enough. They're the kindest people I've ever met and they really love all of the animals they see. The staff here is incredibly friendly. You can tell everyone loves animals, and it's nice that they seem to remember our pets when we bring them in. We started going to Harmony Animal Hospital when one of our dogs got sick on a Saturday morning and our old vet didn't have time to see her. Harmony said no problem bring her in. We have been going there ever since with our 3 dogs. They have helped us through mange, parasites, cancer, acid reflux, skin issues, tummy issues, and more. They were amazing when we had to put down a dog for the first time and so sympathetic. They have also helped us rescue a few dogs by giving us a good review as dog owners. They have a wonderful group of vets and staffing and we highly recommend them!! Dr. Epple is so gentle and has such a way with animals!! He's like the animal whisperer. :) Read Less

My dog had surgery there by a traveling surgeon. The surgeon was fine, the staff, particularly the office manager, lacked any sort of compassion, were rude, unhelpful and full of attitude. My daughter's dog went in for a hip surgery and was sent home with a fever.  The surgery went well but the dog was running a fever, was coughing, and was not eating.  She and her fiance brought him back to the hospital and the next day they received a call saying he passed.  It turned out that the dog had pneumonia.  The dog should not have been sent home with that fever.  Had he been treated for it, he may have survived.  What was worst was the vet wanted to slip in the vet charges some lab studies to determine why the dog died.  The nerve of him to tell them that he would credit their account for that charge.  They ended up paying him about $2000 so they could get their dog's remains.  The surgery, post-surgery readmission, and the post-mortem charges cost her $5000 which she paid.  When I called to inquire about what happened, the vet refused to talk to "an angry mother," as he put it.  He knew my daughter and her fiance were a young couple who were still in shock and could not be bothered with dealing with money issues.  I believe he took advantage of that situation.  I would not recommend this place. Have been using Harmony Animal Hospital for many years and never had a bad experience. Their staff is extremely friendly and compassionate. Our dog had surgery last year and they were in constant contact with us to let us know what was happening - even taking our crazy calls in the  middle of the night just to check in while he was recovering. They can be a bit more pricey than other vets in the area but in my opinion, it's worth the peace of mind knowing my pets are in good hands. Read Less

I would never go back!!! I used their emergency services on the weekend, which I was grateful for. However, the place was filthy, the smell when I walked in was almost enough to make me turn around and go back out. The exam table was filthy and not even cleaned between patients.  My cat and carrier smelled disgusting for 24 hours after our visit.  The on-call 'veterinarian', if that is what she was, was a complete joke and she was completely overwhelmed.  They took advantage of my stressful situation and did X-rays that were COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. I am angry at myself too for allowing them to do the X-rays at all, but I was emotional and they took advantage.  All said and done, I left with a $500 vet bill.  Would not recommend this service unless you have absolutely no choice for an emergency. My youngest cat was having some bladder issues and we were sent to Harmony when my regular vet had no appointments available. Awful experience!!  My dogs normal vet cancelled apps due to over booking called Harmony they said bring your dog in when you can today we will fit him in.  We get there and are told he has to stay overnight bc they can't fit him in also was told over the phone... the visit is $53 the procedure  $50 but when we get there I'm told to pay $300!!!!  When questioning the vet he was EXTREMELY RUDE and I quote "he's not our patient I'm doing you a favor"!  Excuse me your bedside manner is appalling and you shouldn't be in the business of trying to help animals!!  I get it you were fitting me in but do not be rude and change your story once I'm there.  Your more qualified to be a politician then a vet!!! Our beloved rescue pit Emma didn't make it through her cancer surgery yesterday, but the compassionate care and time spent by the staff with us helps to ease the pain of her loss. Highly recommend these folks for their friendly attitude toward pets and their people. It's a long drive for us, but very worthwhile. We plan to adopt our next rescue pit bull through their office. We took our cat here since it is the most local emergency veterinary center at the recommendation of our normal vet.They did the job treating him and he was healed for the trip home.  However, the intake and updates were difficult to understand.They give you the opportunity to call at any time, but normal updates were hit or miss during our cat's 3 day stay.  Since we have multiple cats in our household, we also had questions about how to maintain his dietary restriction in a house with several cats.  We didn't get a suggested solution, we were just told his restricted diet wouldn't be effective for other cats.  This prompted us to call our normal vet office for advice.Their price was good for treatment and they effectively treated our cat's medical needs.  However, the advice and follow up left a little more to be desired. Thank you to Dr. Epple and the staff at Harmony Animal Hospital for saving our dog's life. Last week our Labradoodle was hit by a car outside our home. This happened during the evening and our regular veterinarian's office was closed for the day. We rushed over to HAH and Dr. Epple performed a life-saving surgery to remove our dog's spleen and stop the internal bleeding. My Golden had been acting funny during the evening and we kept a watchful eye on her for several hours and decided that we needed to get her to a vet because she seemed to be very uncomfortable. At 3am we called Harmony and was able to take her immediately. Unfortunately, we had to put her down but she did not suffer long because their emergency service is available around the clock. I have had my cat taken care of at Harmony Animal for the last five years. The staff are friendly and doctors were very caring and knowledgeable. I have had no complaints on the way they practice because they explained to me what precisely is going on with my cat. The good doctors help me understand what is going on and advise me on treatment options with consideration to my financial options as well. I was surprised with the negative reviews on Citysearch. They did not seem to be fair reviews on part of the service the hospital provided. Pretty poor attitude and extremely patheic service and total lack of compassion (office staff's pretty much ok). I was under the impression that veterinarians have a tinge of caring and compassion for animals, however it does not exist here, esp with the oriental woman ""vet"". Things may change immediately if you waved a wad of cash & dished out absurd fees for unneeded procedures. I have seen far better vet practices in my life across the country, this one ranks far below the worst.
