Had always thought they did the right thing until we brought in a stray cat (Jersey) to be checked out. Wanted to be sure she got a clean bill of health before we brought her inside with our other cats. Did routine check up including feline aids and leukemia test. All good.   They did indicate teeth and gum problems with an estimate of $1100.00 to $1400.00 dollars to fix.   They gave us antibiotics for the swollen upper quadrant area and we went home.  After 3 weeks, swelling still there. Back to vet for inspection of area and what needs to be done.  After 11 teeth extracted throughout  and pockets of puss removed and cleaned, we once again took Jersey home with a $1500.00 charge and more medication.  2 days later Ramsey vet called with a biopsy report.  Severe Cancer - Inoperable. ?? Seriously.   They could not have check for this first before they made her suffer with all that mouth work and medication. Months to wait for the test I would understand, but this was 2 days.   Needless to say Jersey had to be put to sleep.  Total Cost $2000.00  Well they got their money.... Read Less
