Have been here more times than I can count, both for emergencies and routine stuff, and have never been disappointed. Top notch vets, knowledgeable, friendly techs and staff who always know the right thing to say, even on the worst day of a horse owner's life. Everyone here genuinely cares about the horses and their owners. The medicine is up to date, and there's nothing like having a team of experts working together to figure out what's wrong with your horse! Beautiful, modern facility that is spotless and runs like a well oiled machine. I recommend MAEC to all of my clients and friends!

Two times Dr Doyle saved my big guy! I cannot thank you and all the staff enough for everything you have done for Cydney. I received updates 2x per day and that was after I had spent the days there....
Two times Dr Doyle saved my big guy! I cannot thank you and all the staff enough for everything you have done for Cydney. I received updates 2x per day and that was after I had spent the days there. They were extremely busy the week that he had colic so they worked together monitoring all the colic cases by popping in and out of the exam rooms. Often times needing to provide pain medicine or checking vitals. A hard working team that cared very much for each patient. Thank you so much!!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Gasiorowski and staff. Last week we had to bring our boy Bowie there for severe colic. Unfortunately, the outcome was the worst. The one shining light of the evening was the way Bowie and all of us were treated. The two young women who treated him when we got there were so awesome with him. They, along with Dr. Gasiorowski, could not have been more comforting and compassionate when we had to make the horrible decision to euthanize Bowie. We cannot thank them enough - this happened so suddenly and was so devastating it was hard to think straight and everyone there made it much more bearable. I highly recommend Mid-Atlantic Equine.

My daughter's 4yr old went into their facility last night with impaction colic. You do everything right with regards to care & things still happen. The staff was so reassuring that our horse was in great hands despite my craziness from being worried sick. Cruise aka "Ocala Coosin" is our world. My wonderful horse, Indius, spent 8-1/2 weeks at Mid Atlantic under Dr. Rodney Belgrave's care. I visited him twice a day and was treated like family. The care and love we both received helped me get through a stressful battle with Laminitis. We, unfortunately, lost the battle and had to euthanize him, but the gentleness and love that was given as we sent him over the rainbow bridge still makes me cry with gratitude. I would take any sick horse there without hesitation. Thank you and love to all of the staff at Mid Atlantic!

My experience in working with Dr. Belgrave and the entire staff at Mid-Atlantic was an extreemly positive part of a very negative situation. My horse had been sick for some time and we had worked with other vets. It wasn't until I finally took him to Mid-Atlantic that we discovered Sampson had developed a rare disease which ultimately took his life. I wish that Dr. Belgrave was a human Dr. because his obvious and vast intellectual knowledge combined with a kind and compassionate heart make him the best Dr. (People or pets) I have ever worked with. I am grateful to have been able to give Sampson the outstanding medical care and loving attention he received from the entire staff at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center. Dr. Belgrave will always be the equestrian doctor I use and highly recommend.

Dr David treated my clyde for colic in late 2014. He was there for 29 days. The care he received from the Dr's and staff was above and beyond. They kept in regular contact with me and I didn't have to be calling for an update. It was a 3 hour drive for me to get him there but, it's the first place I would go if my horse needed medical care.

My horse was diagnosed with severe Gastric & Colonic ulcers that were causing him many health issues. 6 months later & following Dr. Belgraves recommendations for treatment he is a completely different horse now. So thankful to have my horse back again. Fingers always crossed he continues doing well!

Have been here more times than I can count, both for emergencies and routine stuff, and have never been disappointed. Top notch vets, knowledgeable, friendly techs and staff who always know the right thing to say, even on the worst day of a horse owner's life. Everyone here genuinely cares about the horses and their owners. The medicine is up to date, and there's nothing like having a team of experts working together to figure out what's wrong with your horse! Two times Dr Doyle saved my big guy! I cannot thank you and all the staff enough for everything you have done for Cydney. I received updates 2x per day and that was after I had spent the days there. They were extremely busy the week that he had colic so they worked together monitoring all the colic cases by popping in and out of the exam rooms. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Gasiorowski and staff. Last week we had to bring our boy Bowie there for severe colic. Unfortunately, the outcome was the worst. The one shining light of the evening was the way Bowie and all of us were treated. The two young women who treated him when we got there were so awesome with him. My wonderful horse, Indius, spent 8-1/2 weeks at Mid Atlantic under Dr. Rodney Belgrave's care. I visited him twice a day and was treated like family. The care and love we both received helped me get through a stressful battle with Laminitis. We, unfortunately, lost the battle and had to euthanize him, but the gentleness and love that was given as we sent him over the rainbow bridge still makes me cry with gratitude. My horse had been sick for some time and we had worked with other vets. My horse was diagnosed with severe Gastric & Colonic ulcers that were causing him many health issues. 6 months later & following Dr. Belgraves recommendations for treatment he is a completely different horse now. So thankful to have my horse back again. Fingers always crossed he continues doing well!
