Winslow Animal Hospital is an absolutely phenomenal vet. A lot of people have many concerns running through their minds when they go to the vets. Including but not limited to: What's wrong with my pet, Is this going to be an easily solved problem, What is this visit going to cost me, Am I going to like the doctor i'm seeing, Is the technician going to be gentle with my beloved furry family? I can tell you wholeheartedly That the staff of staff of Winslow Animal Hospital surpassed all of my expectations when I went in for a visit. The hospital itself is beautifully decorated and everything was nice and clean. They approached my pet's situation in a logical manner in order to determine why he had become ill. All of the doctors and technicians that have worked with my fur babies have been nothing but accommodating. Whether it be answering questions, working with my pet in a manner that made all of us comfortable, or even bringing my dog Cody and I a drink of water during our exam. When I expressed my financial constraints they did everything they could to prioritize the diagnostics and treatments most important to his well being. I can't say enough good things. I've used this vet for my pets (dog & cat) and always had a positive experience. They have treated my cat for hyperactive thyroid issues as well as a respiratory infection in my dachshund. In november I took in an old rescue dog and soon realized he needed some extra care. He doesn't have the best hearing or vision and also suffered from arthritis. He wasn't very trusting at first and was a bit fear aggressive. The doctors and technicians have been wonderful with him. The staff was very patient and gentle. They were also able to diagnose some early kidney disease and recommended a new food for me to feed him as well as a safer pain medication for his arthritis. Today he is much more active and seems to be enjoying his new life with much less pain! I would highly recommend this vet hospital and will continue all of my pets care here. Read Less

I have been a patient of Winslow for at least 10 years. This evening I called with a very ill rescue --- a baby chihuahua---who had been vomitting for the past day and a half. I couldn't reach the rescue and was willing to use my own money to get her seen. I was told they had no time for me this evening. I told them that the puppy may not make it til tomorrow and the gentlemen I spoke to said he agreed but he could not let me come in. He told me to go to Mt. Laurel Emergency Center. I explained I can't drive far at night but again I was told there was nothing he could do. Really???I will never bring my dog there again---the fact that the receptionist acknowledged that this dog may die tonight yet he wouldn't squeeze me in is sickening to me. Dr. Phil Was excellent! Very professional and gave us an awesome experience. I took my 10 week old American Bulldog last week and he was the first Vet that was against neutering a very young puppy and that he gave us more info on when is the proper time to do it. I just wanted to take a moment to thank the whole staff for the wonderful care that Max and I received on December 22, 2017. I am from out of town and brought Max in sick. Everyone was so helpful and comforting...assuring me that they would do there best to help Max. They truly cared about his well being. It was so reassuring to know that even though I was visiting, they took care of Max just as though he had been coming there for years and we were old friends. 2 years ago we had the good fortune to have the Winslow Animal Hospital recommended when we were looking for a veterinarian. Since then we have had numerous well care visits for our dogs and a double knee surgery on our sons Golden Retriever. We recently had our Golden neutered there as well. I drove an hour for a 7pm appt to get x-rays for our dog who has a severe injury, and they tell us the machine is down.  They did not even have the decency to give us a call before we drove all the way.  Now we have to wait another week to get an appt for our injured dog to be looked at. Very very ignorant, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I will never go here or recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

Overall, the vets are second to none and are always very helpful and take the time to really understand the issues and provide good treatment options. The front desk isn't great. They're not friendly, always act like you're a hassle, and you're usually waiting at least 30 minutes past your appointment time to be seen. That being said, there isn't another facility as clean with a medical staff like this one in the area, so you take the good with the bad. Read Less

We are so happy with Winslow Animal Hospital. Every person in the staff is kind and extremely knowledgeable. The facilities are spotless, beautiful and welcoming. The staff treats our pets with care and kindness. We started going to Winslow Animal Hospital with our Bearded Collie, Waldo. The doctors and staff kept Waldo in good shape and comfort from his first visit, and they did everything they could to help Waldo, and us, when we were losing him from old age. They made his passing as comfortable as possible, for Waldo and us. Now that we have our new Bearded Collie puppy, Gracie, we would not give a second thought to taking her anywhere else for her care. My mom called me on Saturday to say they were taking my bud, a black lab named Peppy, to the vet after him not seeming himself. I arrived first and was very anxious because Pep was almost 13 and I knew his symptoms were not good. A technician came over and sat next to me. Very quietly he started to ask questions, asking what type of help we might need to get Peppy inside. When Peppy did arrive he was wagging his tail, but you could tell. The doctor and others who treated him were amazing. I remember one lady who had pink hair just talking so lovingly to him as if he had been her own. When we made the horrible decision to put Peppy to sleep after hearing there wasn't anything we could do the doctor sat on the floor with us explaining everything and sharing her own stories. The lady with the pink hair came back in and supported the doctor as did the tech who had spoken to me earlier. From start to when we left everyone was amazing. The awesome care may not make up for losing my best friend but it was comforting to be supported by such compassionate people.Read Less

I took my wonderful lab there yesterday. We ended up having to put him to sleep. They were compassionate and wonderful to Peppy and to us. When it was over we left by the front door to take the car around to the side. Everybody in the waiting room was silent and the tv had been turned off. I didn't notice, but my daughter told me later. There was also a candle on the desk burning to let everyone know that someone was saying goodbye to their family. When we pulled the car around they brought Peppy out lovingly wrapped up and placed him in our car. They never rushed us. I will appreciate all that they did forever. I'd give them 100 stars. I have a dog and two cats. All of my pets go to Winslow Animal Hospital. Their front office staff, vet tech's, and Vets are all friendly. The waiting area and exam rooms are always clean and orderly. When it comes to caring for my furry companions, I couldn't ask for better experiences. My questions are always answered and if I have any concerns, all of the vets will stay in the exam room until I am satisfied. Also, I love the email reminders for needed vaccines due. Great staff of doctors and techs. I switch last year after my dog had orthopedic surgery here and made a great recovery. They even offered physical therapy for him after surgery. Could be more pleased with a vet. Unfortunately they don't offer 24hr emergency care. But can't say enough about how great they are.Read Less

I adopted my dog Piper in April of 2016. A family friend suggested Winslow Animal Hospital. And I'm so glad she did.The staff are so friendly and helpful when you call about question or set appointment. And they don't see to mind Piper can handful sometimes trying to get their attention at desk while we wait in lobby. Vet techs are helpful while we wait in the patient room. My ittle guy was throwing up, almost daily it was pretty obvious that he had Ibd, was dehydrating, pancreatic issues including cancer, so,i took him to WAH.... . 1 star is GENEROUS. MY poor cat suffered another 5 days after he was sent home from Winslow anirmal Hospital with no medication, or general information what the next step should be, except of course too bring him back and pay another $800 for 'hopsitiztion' which would include another $90 exam, yes was charged for 2 already while hospitalized, fluids and more of the same . As far as hospitalization, it should be quoted as day care, leaving your pet there until 730 and picking him/her up every evening. I understand that without proper diagnostics(refused by me, due to the already outrageous cost and also knowing i would take him somewhere else due to the outrageous cost ) it would have been difficult to establish my cat having cancer however, it was never brought up??? The other vets office suggested right away that exrays and a possible ultrasound would rule out IBD, food allergies and dehydration . I went ahead with the recommended tests, unfortunately he had cancer and was put down, at 5 years of age! I'm very mad, mostly due to the cost paid for,,, well.... nothing!Read Less

I can't say enough about Dr. Hinze and Linda with Rehab. Honestly, if it wasn't for them my dog would not be walking. Daisy came to them after surgery for 2 blown disc in her back. Her neuro surgeon saying chances were slim at her follow up that she would walk again. That's when I looked for help. We started with acupuncture and added in laser and now the water treadmill. Weeks later she was walking!!! They gave my best friend her legs back. All of the staff is completely amazing. They all greet and play with her when she comes in. Daisy is clearly not just a dog to me, and they treat her like family as well. I feel beyond blessed to have met each and every person there who has in any way had a hand in helping her walk again. The Doctors and Staff are truly amazing! They took great care of my little Cassie Bear when she had her annual dental cleaning. I can't thank them enough, you can see just how much they love their job, but most importantly they all take great pride in their work. Cassie Bear is a 5 year old 4lb Tea Cup Yorkie and her breed is prone to dental disease. Last year she had to have 3 extractions, but with continued proper dental care this year she didn't need any extractions!!! If you haven't called to schedule a dental screening please do. I have been taking my dogs to the Vets and Vet Techs at WAH for two years now.  We have had 5 dogs over the years, and gone thru the usual ups and  downs of average and healthy pets.  Seen 10 vet offices or more over the years. So I feel qualified to give high praise to Winslow Animal Hospital. All the staff have been very kind and helpful.  Currently, my 8 yr old lab mix is receiving water treadmill  rehab  and laser therapy for her bad knees and tight front shoulders.  Every week she dashes nto the front door and looks forward to visiting.  Our other newly  rescued collie mix had heartworm when adopted, and Drs. Draper and Levie have done truly outstanding care & treatment  for her.   She is a bit shy, but the technicians and staff have won her over.  She adores them and leans on them or rolls over to get a belly rub.  This is despite the discomfort of her treatments for curing heartworm.  The facility is clean, and I regularly see the front desk administrative staff come out to clean any "mess" left by nervous or elderly pets.  The front desk staff are very conscientious about explaining time delays, and sometimes emergencies might come in.  We rarely wait more than a few minutes.Our 8 year old had a dental cleaning that was well done.  Very thorough care and help treating a suprising  infection she had under her tongue.  She gets her toe nails done monthly and has never been hurt while they drummel / file her nails.  This is the first time I can say that the dogs and I look forward to seeing the veterinary office.  Congratulations to everyone at WAH for creating such a wonderful place to get well or stay well. I came here almost ten years ago, originally after searching for a vet who specialized in canine orthopedic issues, and was so pleased with the care that I have remained a loyal customer ever since. We're on the second patient now, but the staff has remained as helpful, friendly, and informative as ever. I especially appreciate their consideration regarding financial concerns...it would be nice if I could say, "whatever it costs", but that's just not my reality, and our doctor does keep that in mind. And as much as my high-strung German Shepherd hates going to the vet, she actually tolerates trips here quite well. Read Less

Service and respect you get there is "zero". Tried to get a simple nail trim for my fur baby 3 times. first time went, couldn't do it my dog was too stressed out, ok no big deal. Gave me a tranquilizer and rescheduled. Second visit still no go Advised me to give him 2 different pills and reschedule on a day when the surgical staff was there so if they still couldn't do it they would give him a shot and put him under at that time. Sure no problem, schedule for a date and time and had to take a day off of work, but anything for your pet. Go to my THIRD appointment, 2 pills have no affect but they take him back to attempt nail trim, 1 minute later techs come back in and it's a no go. tell me the next date to put him under is next week. come back a FOURTH time, take another day off? No you said it would be done this visit. The very miserable tech said fully booked. new vet and nails trimmed in under 5 without anesthesia Read Less

1 year ago we were referred to this vet for our 6 year old dog ACL tear. We did a lot of research on prices and therapy options and all surgery options. Not only did this one have a great reputation but therapy and surgery were all inclusive in one price. Walle our dog had surgery and recovered using their amazing physical therapy. The surgeon was patient with is and answers all our questions. The whole staff was wonderful and could tell that our dogs are our life. We never felt like a just another number. It is also nice that they have the care credit option. That card saved our dog, we wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise. The office is large and very clean which means a lot to us. We highly recommend this vet office. 1 year later and he is walking and running like he never got hurt. Winslow animal hospital saved our babies life. We won't take our dogs anywhere else. The 2 most important things to us are patience, cleanliness and friendliness and this place is top notch. Read Less

What can I say about the staff and Doctors of Winslow Animal Hospital, other than awesome. I have been going there since 2002 and they have been great with all my pets. In June of 2012 I made the difficult choice to humanely euthanize my cat. She had been having trouble for several months and as hard as it was it was time. I had the appointment set for June 13 after work. I came home and she was laying with the dog which they never did. I put her in the carrier and made my way there. On the way she began to have a seizure and died next to me. When I carried her in I was extremely upset. The staff was great they took me right back, they took her and checked her out and came in to let me know. before they had wrapped her they took an imprint of her paw so I would have a memento. Their services are way more expensive than my previous vet. I felt as though they always said things were wrong with my dog and needed to do numerous unnecessary tests. When I called to inquire about getting my puppy fixed, the woman that answered the phone was rude. Just moved to the area and went to this vet for the first time. They are quite possibly the best vet I've ever been to. From the reception staff to the nurse and doctor we saw, everyone was wonderful! I have a blind dog who is not good with other dogs. They brought us in and out through the side door so he did not have to interact with other dogs in the waiting room. You can see the true love for animals that the staff members have. That is exactly what I want to see when I am taking my pet to the vets. I am a former veterinary assistant and they get an A++ rating from me! Read Less

My Abbie has been treating with Linda Franzini and her assistant Amy for a few months for degenerative arthritis in her spine. While admittedly, Winslow animal hospital is not my regular veterinary care provider, I have use them for physical therapy and laser treatment for Abb's condition. After the first four treatments, I have seen a significant difference in Abbie's gait. She no longer seems like she is not using her back legs to their full potential. there are underwater aqua therapy and  laser treatment on her spine seem to be the right combination to keep her as The still fairly active 12-year-old Dalmatian that she is. I am very happy with the progress, as well as the TLC received by Linda and Amy. I did meet with Dr. Coudre prior to the beginning of treatment with WAH. He gave her a thorough examination, and saw the same deficiencies that my own veterinarian saw. He agreed that this was the right course of treatment for her. though I did have issue with a younger member of the office staff initially, the matter has become resolved. Just know that if you should become a new client, you may not write a check until you've done business with them for at least six months. apparently, they've been beat before and I don't blame them, but I was not made aware of that fact before I got there. And I really did not want to use a credit card. Had I known all that at the start I would certainly have brought cash along. That was the only issue that I had. It is now resolved, and everything is fine. I feel their pricing is reasonable, but when you have to have multiple services of course it can get pricey. They charge approximately $50 per service. Not per hour, (that was another  point of confusion ) If the therapist thinks that 20 minutes would do rather than a full half hour, that's what you'll get. More time is not necessarily always better. They know what they're doing and have provided significant relief for my girl! Read Less

All of myy "kids" have been here (both dogs and cats) and I believe they have all received excellent care.  I like how they give you the option of what services you would like performed by giving you a print out of the suggested procedures, instead of making you feel bad like some other places.  Some times if times are very rough and money is low, some doctors may offer you a small discount on a service or like a bundle price which is nice. The new location is beautiful and the ladies at the desk are always friendly.  I have liked every doctor we've seen so far here. Read Less

The quality of care that my pet received here was excellent.  Bottom line that was the most important consideration for me.All of the doctors and staff are very nice and do their best to accommodate the needs of me and my pet.This is a fairly large practice which is good because they have good hours and can usually get you an appointment quickly if you have a sick pet.  My only gripe is that because it is a large practice it is not uncommon to get a different doctor each visit.  Fortunately they are all excellent, but if you are dealing with a pet with chronic issues, it can be helpful to see the same person.   I suppose it is possible to schedule appointments to see the same person, but often with a pet it is easier to schedule appointments when it is most convenient to get there and not around when any particular doctor is available.The location is fairly convenient, on Cross-Keys on the same corner as the ShopRite.  Since they have a small parking area, it is usually easier to pull into the ShopRite plaza and park there behind the vet office as the lots are connected.
