Do not come here, all they want to do is take your money! My Pomeranian fractured her paw and with them knowing there was nothing they can do they told me to come to the office anyway. They had no medication to put her under to realign the bone, they charged me over $300 to take X-rays and refer me to a specialist! My dog was in pain for hours because of these terrible people! Dr. Gabby is an excellent vet. My pup Ella was having horrible ear, skin and eye issues and Dr. Gabby worked with us to find the right medication to treat Ella's allergies. I always get a follow up call after every appointment, and when Ella was really not feeling well Dr. Gabby called me herself to Follow-up. They always tell me prices up front and help me make the best decisions for Ella. I have to give it at least 2 stars because they did take care of chestnut when in need but they never tell you how much our going cost you get up to the reception area and they say 500 really I mean you couldn't come in and see what we can do instead of just throwing this fee at me and Also there's no compassion you are supposed to associate with the rescues really I asked if I can get a payment plan so the response I got was it has to be paid in full we can see chesntnut if it's not and we are going to send you to collection wow this is coming from a girl who prob makes 10 dollars an hour relax kid ! We had the emergency for my little kitty We had the horrible experience going there. They simply run all kinda of tests which is unnecessary and are unable to identify the cause of the problem and make a huge bill to pay. Even they don't handle the animals properly . I boarded my dog here recently. Had to travel last minute and my normal vet boarder was booked up. I got use to trusting my normal vet and checked if nd medical attention should we treat... Yes!!! What a MISTAKE that was!!! They ran the bill right up!!! Check ups, wellness test, fecal tests, blood tests, heart worm test... What the hell is a wellness test??? $115 for the boarding... Which was extremely reasonable.... $480 in unnessary testing!!! Bait and switch!!! Ofcourse all test came back negative! Funny thing is that my dog had a cut under her fur that never got seen... Had to bring her to her normal vet for a $18 antibiotic... Cured!!! Almost $500 in unnecessary testing and they didn't even find the cut!!! They're kinda of like an untrustworthy contractor... If you give them an  opportunity to screw you they will.... This place is a business not a loving vet!!!Had they called the cell # that was written on every of the 5pgs given to me to sign... After asking around, we decided to take our new puppy to North Jersey Animal Hospital for a check-up and shots. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Dr. Riedel put us at ease and took the time to answer all our questions without making us feel like we were uninformed. We never felt rushed or like we were taking up too much of the Drs time. Dr. Riedel had a very professional, relaxed manner. We were surprised when things that we had not even thought of were discussed and explained in detail until we had a clear understanding. The staff and doctors at North Jersey Animal Hospital are professional, kind and very informed regarding current treatment and vaccination plans. We had an all around great experience. Had our dog treated here for four years as it was close to home, as some others have said the doctors were not warm at all but the front desk staff was wonderful. Recently, we switched vets as we moved. After the switch we found out that our dog was being given un-necessary vaccinations AND was not being tested for lyme disease when they were doing his blood work, it was never given to us as an option and as we never thought to ask, we also feel responsible. Upon our first visit to the new vet, our dogs blood-work was done which included lyme disease testing, unfortunately, it was positive. We feel this is something that could have and should have been tested for and prevented earlier, I am disappointed in North Jersey Animal Hospital. Read Less
