Gray Fox has been taking care of my dogs for ~25 years. This Sunday (seems always on a weekend) my dog got really sick, multiple times, and it was a long and unsettling night. Called Monday morning, and of course being a Monday morning, the schedule was full. After hearing my list of symptoms, the vet tech. called me right back, said they could "fit me in" at 10AM!! For a "squeeze in" appointment, DR. Lee and his staff spent almost an hour with me and Rexxy-thorough exam, 2 X-rays, explained both X-rays with me, in detail, with details on what to expect when we get home, instructions for subsequent home care, and a plan of action if Rexxy doesn't improve. The pooch is feeling better, I feel a lot better. I couldn't ask for more!! Thank you Gray Fox!! P.S. I think Rexxy likes the staff more than me! I’ve been going here for TEN years.. that ended today. The unprofessionalism we encountered today and a few days ago is unfathomable. My dog is diabetic, we’ve been doing every single thing we can for our dog. We listened to Dr Barras and did everything we were told. My wife created a log book to keep track of his drinking/eating habits. Units of insulin time of day for them and his overall behavior and moods etc. we have been doing well but needles aren’t his thing and so we had to get creative with how to give them. Their “vet” Bernadette Spector belittled my wife and blamed her for his issues and had the balls to detail his charts with my wife pulling at his neck skin.. FALSE FALSE AND FALSEEEE. My wife was trying to explain the situation of how different he is from home vs the vet office but already clearly Dr Spector already had her mind made up that we weren’t doing anything right. She is condescending and belittling and that is completely unacceptable in the career field she chose. We always tried our best to stay away from Dr Spector but since Dr Barras and Dr Taylor left ( main reason why this place has such high reviews) we had no choice. Within minutes we realized why we were warned to stay AWAY from her. She is a horrible person to deal with. And while she may “care” about the pets she clearly doesn’t care about the human beings that are paying the bill and taking our pets there. She has lost a total of 6 pets between my home and my other family members homes as well just this year alone because she is completely intolerable to deal with. She may not think we can do anything right with our diabetic dog but the BEST thing i’ve ever done was pull ALLLLLL of my dogs out of that place. Ignorance is ugly and i feel bad for their employees ... I’m sure if she treats her clients like that I can only imagine how she treats her employees. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! I brought my dog to a vet in Gloucester Co. on Kings Hwy and was very disappointed in the way their vet tech treated my dog during a basic "nail clipping". The tech took my dog to a back room to cut her nails. A few minutes later I hear a dog cry and I knew right away it was my dogs cry. When I heard my dog cry for the second time, I ran into the back room and snatched my dog away from this vet tech. My dog was bleeding from two of her nails!!! I was horrified! How can a tech who is suppose to love animals continue to cut a dog's nail while they cry out!!!! I yelled at her and said how would you like it if someone cut your nails so short that they bled!!!!!! I never went back. I made an appointment at Gray Fox, told them about my experience and they were very sensitive in making sure my dog would not be traumatized anymore. They handled my dog with the delicacy, kindness and care that she deserves. It's no surprise that Gray Fox is my new vet. I came for a 2nd opinion about my baby. Dr Taylor took excellent care of us. Although the diagnosis I received is correct and our time is limited, to know someone cares about our baby and is helping in treating her and keeping her comfortable is a blessing. I wish I found her earlier because maybe we wouldn’t be where we are today. Lymes disease can cause renal failure. Have trust in your vet. Work together in treating your fur babies. Read Less

We were vary pleased with our dog's check up with Dr. Lee Spector. Our dog is fresh from an animal shelter, so we needed for him to be checked out by our vet. We also needed to get preventatives for flees, ticks, and heart worm. I was treated very nicely and professionally by all staff from my initial phone call to our check out experience. Just an amazing experience. My cat had an open wound that few vets ever see. Other vets turned down the surgery, as its chance of success wasn't high, but Lee Spector wanted the challenge. He quoted me $3,500, and warned it could take multiple surgeries. He did the job perfectly in a single surgery that ended up costing only $750. My cat is now good as new. I switched from Regional in Turnersville to here not that long ago and I am MUCH happier. Prices, diagnostics and treatment plans are not out of this world like I was use to and the best part is they care more about your pet then the money!! I went to Gray Fox animal hospital for a second opinion about my Rottweiler. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. Dr. Lee is amazing. He listened to all of my concerns and really reassured me it will all be okay. He is so straight forward and will extend the time of your appointment with no hesitation. I usually have to wait about 30 minutes past my appointment time.  The front desk staff aren't terribly friendly.  I spent $200 last month getting "laser treatments" for my dog that did nothing.  The care is typically pretty good but those are the things I don't care for at Gray Fox Read Less

We have been here twice for our dog. Each time she had a pretty serious condition, and was seen on an emgergency status. The level of compassion, care, and flexibility is unmatched. I'm not sure about pricing, as we really have not gone anywhere else, so I have nothing to compare it to, but we always feel like we are getting what we pay for. I can't say enough good things about the office from the front staff to the doctors. Everybody is kind and caring and oddly enough my dog likes going there. I have called once or twice with an emergency (at least to me) and the office fit me right in the schedule and never made me feel like I was a burden. But most of all I love the time and energy they spend with your pet. The doctors always address all of my concerns and tell me what to expect as my pet heals or gets better. oh, and the prices... This gem here was recommended by my fellow yelpers, and as usual they are on point with the best places!  Having recently adopted a dog I was looking for a vet, I attempted finding one on my own and it was a fail, so I turned to Y'alk and Gray Fox came highly recommended by a number of people.  Everything from calling to make the appointment, to the visit was excellent! When I initially called to make the appointment the lady who answered and set me up was very nice, I believe I made the initial appointment for a little over a week out.  I received a confirmation call about a day prior, which was nice not at all annoying.  It was easy to find, it was about a 25 min ride from me, but I didn't mind.. The office is clean bright and odor free, Mocha did not at all mind going in and making herself at home.  She did not poop on the floor, as she had at the other place I attempted to take her to, nor was she trembling in fear... ok minimal tremble, but it wasn't nearly as bad. The wait was short, I hadn't even finished the paper work when they took us back.  The staff was super friendly and welcoming, Mocha calmed down, took the toy when offered.  The visit went fairly quick, concerned about her small size and the effect the vaccines may have they offered to have me come back to get they others.  I opted to do that.  Check out was smooth, prices were extremely reasonable.  A day or two after our first visit we received a Welcome packet in the mail! It contained helpful info, a window cling in case of emergencies to advise Emergency staff that a pet is present in the house.  Nice touch! On our second visit, we did the heartworm test which is free if you purchase a years worth of heartworm medication.  I decided to take advantage of the promotion.  It was a quick visit, since the office is welcoming we opted to wait the few minutes for the results.  I will say this the other patients are nice also very friendly.  While I was waiting a call came in with a simple common sense question, someone with a new puppy maybe, but the staff handled it very professionally and with care, it was really nice to hear.  I'm looking forward to building a relationship with the vets in this office I would recommend them to all pet owners. A very nice vet clinic/hospital in South Jersey.  I've been taking my cats here for appx. 10 years with minimal or no hassle.  Even though I live in PA now, I know that the vets know my cats & will care for them in a friendly & stress - free manner.  The building & exam rooms have all been clean, with no problems.  I have mostly been seen within 5-10 minutes of my appointment time.  Their prices are reasonable, and the technicians have all been friendly towards my kitties. I had a visit with Dr Bernadette Spector last night and I just feel that she and her husband Dr. Lee Spector truly care about all animals; they really want your pets to be healthy. Besides running a fantastic practice they are active in the community raising money for the humane society, they even donated to the Arbor Day Foundation in memory of a beloved pet I had to have put down because of a congenital defect. Dr, Bernadette is absolutely the most concerned, hands-on and game-planned Vet my 60 years have ever crossed paths.  My cat took ill and I rushed her to a local Medford area Vet hosp who charged me $500. a day x 4 for an IV!  They wanted to do exploratory surgery at $3000.+ and made faulty diagnosis.  Based on excellent references, we drove 25 miles to Gray Fox.  Dr. Bernadette reviewed my paperwork and made a diagnosis and requested a ultrasound at another facility.  Unfortunately, the cat had advanced liver cancer and a blocked bile duct.  Dr. Bernadette made a game plan and our cat lasted another 31 days; 301/2 of which were happy for us both.  Dr. B was always attentive, responded to my phone calls on weekends and did not dollar me to death.  Her office visits are a low $36.00.  I credit her with those 301/2 where my wife and I could shower our Iverson with love and comfort!  My wife and I recommend Dr. B without reservation.  When Iver died, she even penned us a short note of condolence.  I have contributed to the charity of Dr. B, PETSAVERS,,,Giuseppe from ITALIAN AFFAIR in Glassboro NJ just contributed 100 dinners to PETSAVERS!  Support those charities that save the animals.  I never thought you could get that attached to a cat!
